Monthly Development Update - August 2024
Happy to say that progress is going well, wishlists and followers are on the up, so I want to say a big thanks to all those who've done either (or Both!) as it means a big deal! Still more reveals planned, and that demo patch won't be long away now! Production is really ramping up and will be something special on release, until next months update, take care!

MONTHLY DEVELOPMENT NEWS: JULY 2024
Hey all, just a quick update on development progress, planned updates, and new milestones hit!

First of all, wishlists continue to climb, and recently just hit 1k followers on Twitter/X, which means a great deal for solo devs like myself, so just wanted to say a big thanks to all those who made that possible!

Secondly, regarding the game itself, progress content wise is coming along nicely, and will be continued to be refined and polished along the way!

Thirdly, I do plan to finally get a hotfix/patch to get that demo working for those who've had issues starting it, you'll be pleased to know that I've recently identified the issue causing it, so as soon as I can get that pushed to Steam, it will be, though it will take sometime due to the complexity of it. But I'll be sure to keep you all posted on that!

Finally, this game has game such a long way since the initial demo a few years ago, and that wouldn't have been possible without all the support, wishlisting, following, feedback and sharing, so I can say for sure that this game will hopefully be something special! NEW TRAILER NOW LIVE!
Hey all, the wait is over, new Retrowave '84 trailer just dropped! Can confirm that the game will contain exclusive soundtracks from both John S Weekley (Previous work includes Ashes 2063 and Dread Templar) and Jasper Byrne (Hotline Miami 1 and 2, as well as Lone Survivor), latest trailer can be found below!



In addition, I do plan for a small update/hotfix for demo issues since many have reported it not launching with certain specs, so expect that as soon as its sorted!

In the mean time, see yous around!

Hey all, quick development update, progress remains well on track for full release this year, also got a new trailer in the works, will drop during next month, with some BIG reveals to come, some of which I can't wait to share nearer the time! MONTHLY DEVELOPMENT NEWS - APRIL 2024!
Hello all, back for your monthly development update, with FPS fest for Steam kicking off today, hope you are all digging the new demo, I can also confirm that a brand new trailer with yet more reveals will be released in the coming months, development still progressing nicely towards a release this year, and as always, I'll keep you all updated as I go, til then, take care!







RETROWAVE 84 NEW DEMO UPDATE OUT NOW!
Hey all, the brand new demo update is live, a few things include...

- Brand New Level
- More Enemies
- More Teases/Reveals
- Streamlined/improved the Pause menu UI
- Refined the slowmo
- Improved weapon SFX/FX
- Bug fixes
- Brand new intro
- More polish to previous demo levels
- much more!!

This version is listed as 0.83, will likely be a while before to next one as that will almost be in time for release, enjoy the new demo! MONTHLY DEVELOPMENT NEWS - MARCH 2024
So first of all, the demo has now smashed 20k downloads! Awesome! The next update for the demo will contain a new level, as per the previous months post, and will drop early April 2024 (if not, sooner!)...
