[Stealth Related Adjustments]

  1. Added target selection tips when checking the locations and moving routes of enemy searchlights.
  2. Added item trait “Enemy Detection” to “Scanner” and “Advanced Scanner”. It will increase view range at the start of each turn and can be triggered up to 2 times.
  3. Chapter 4: The Rescue: Items preventing characters from getting exposed are not disabled anymore.
  4. The SP cost of Mendo’s skill “Silencing Strike” is adjusted to 0, and if enemy is not defeated after use, the target will enter “Asleep” status, reducing evasion by 50.
  5. Item “Sonar Scanner” is now available for Item Production in the Preparation Phase of Chapter 2, Act 6: Approach. For save files already unlocked this act, loading to any Preparation Phase or selecting “Restart Battle” during missions will also enable Item Production of the item.
  6. Added new item “Detection Interference Program”, which will reduce all of enemy’s normal visual range to Anti-Stealth Visual Range after use for one turn. This item is limited and can be obtained in certain missions.
  7. Adjusted Chapter 2, Act 9: Hunting Game and Chapter 4: Deep in the Tiger's Den: If player’s units are not exposed before entering the base, then the searchlight routes can be viewed after entering the base.
  8. Adjusted certain terrain that may affect gameplay experience in Chapter 4: Midnight Stratagem.

[Casual Mode Related Adjustments]
In order to create a more relaxing gaming experience for players not very familiar with SLG or SRPG, we’ve made some new adjustments to the “Casual” mode of the game:

  1. Added “Casual²” mode: After selecting “Casual” mode when starting a new game, players will have the option to enable “Casual²” mode. When this mode is selected, players will gain additional healing items “Pill” in every mission. And in battles, allied units will be healed 50% of their Max HP at the start of each turn (excluding certain special missions). Players already started the game can also switch to “Casual²” mode through “Menu - Select Difficulty”.
  2. More experience after finishing missions in the early stage of the game.
  3. More experience after finishing Training Simulations.
  4. Enemy Bosses have 30% less attack, -30 Accuracy and -15 Evasion (excluding Super Mutant Lambda, Reflection of the Progenitor and False Heart).
  5. In the first playthrough, the Level Cap of Team is set to 70.

[Other Adjustments and Optimization]

  1. Adjusted “Standard” mode to allow unlimited manual saves each turn.
  2. Chapter 1, Act 3: Narrow Escape: Now “Autonomous Recon Vehicle” cannot gain access to “Bridge Terminal Passcode”. Prior to the update, doing so will cause the game to stuck.
  3. Chapter 2, Act 9: Hunting Game: After finishing the objectives in the first phase, during the cutscene all deployed Equipment-type Items will be returned to the backpack. Prior to the update, enemies discovering Equipment-type Items could cause errors in the cutscene played after.
  4. Added voice when Tactical Dolls, Beria, Kirill, Lige (in special missions) and some enemy bosses use certain skills.
  5. Adjusted the Carrying Capacity of item “Pill” in backpack to 99.
  6. Optimized the performance when Atena, Jevon and Carl are defeated with Puppet status.
  7. Optimized some art assets.

  1. Fixed an error where Mendo’s skill “Silencing Strike” could cause incorrect damage.
  2. Fixed an issue where Atena’s trait “Steady” doesn’t stop Ability Decrease caused by enemy trait “Shrike Diffusion”.
  3. Fixed a bug when occasionally dragging the item “Pill” around in Battle Backpack may cause the game to freeze.
  4. Fixed a problem where items “Blood Bullet” and “Soporific Dart” don’t have shooting animation when used by Betty, Abigail, Ruby and Valmet.
  5. Fixed an issue where under certain circumstances players won’t be able to continue playing the game for a while after using “Shockwave Grenade” and blowing enemy units away.

We will be rolling out an update today. As discussed in previous announcements, it includes Art Book expansion, a new “Movement Confirmation Mode” for Keyboard & Mouse, and fixes addressing various issues that have impacted your gameplay experience. [New Additions]

  1. Art Book has 54 new pages now, to a total of 124 pages.
  2. Added a new “Movement Confirmation Mode” option for Keyboard & Mouse: if “Double-Click” is selected, the movement action will only be performed after double clicking the Left Mouse Button on the target tile.

[Optimizations and Adjustments]

  1. Chapter 4: Midnight Stratagem: It is now allowed to get exposed. The first three Phase Objectives were adjusted to “All Shrike Mitotic Specimens and Lige are either defeated or hypnotized by the Hypnotic Trap”, the Victory Objective in the final phase remains the same.
  2. Chapter 1, Act 3: Narrow Escape: the first phase and Chapter 4: High Ground Setup: the second phase: Items preventing characters from getting exposed are not disabled anymore. Chapter 4: The Rescue will be adjusted in the next update.
  3. Chapter 5, Act 3: Die Another Day: the first phase: After Atena finishing the Phase Objective and reaching the airport control tower, this location won’t have URNC soldiers turning into puppets.
  4. Chapter 3, Act 5: Base Infiltration and Chapter 4: Night Scouting: For controller users the cursor will be hovering over Carl by default when turn starts.
  5. When using preparation menu during battles to enter “Collection - Battle Records”, the viewing story replay function is now disabled. Before the update, this could cause some UI errors.
  6. Starting from the 2nd playthrough, save files of Chapter 5 - Final Act: Wish Fulfilled Preparation Phase can not be inherited anymore. Inheriting the save was causing data error before the update.
  7. Optimized some SFX volume.
  8. Enhanced several textures and art.

  1. Fixed an issue where defeating Blood Cocoon or Blood Cocoon defeating wrapped units will cause the game to freeze.
  2. Fixed an issue that controller users are not able to select certain sentences when viewing voice replay.

  4. Fixed an issue that occasionally Electric Turret’s attack won’t change enemy unit's behavior mode to “attack”.
