While doing some performance improvements in the previous patch i accidentally messed up the endless hard mode so only the pirates faction enemies were apperating. This patch fixes it.

Hello dear players,
once again i'd like to thank everyone for supporting Rick Henderson, it means the world to me.
I want to reward everyone that had faith in me and bought the game, so i'm working on a small spin-off that will be something like BitBlaster XL meets Rick Henderson, a top down bite-sized game that will be free for all Rick Henderson owners.
Here's the video of the development version (it's still rough around the edges, some sprites need changing and a lot of juice needs to be added, but it's all going quite quickly). Core loop is there, adding some more pickups and special abilities. Like in Rick Henderson, goal is to last as long as possible in the progressively harder surroundings. Touching the screen edges is insta-death :)

Final Early Access Update
Hello everyone,
sorry for the lack of updates, i had COVID and it took me a while to get back on track. I've been really busy preparing everything for the full release, lots of new waves, better tutorial, UI, overall better performance and stability, localization to German, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese and French.
I've been working on the game for more than five years and time has come to wrap things up. There's a lot more that i'd like to add to the game, but at one point i have to release it. At the moment, i think it provides a lot of fun, especially for the price tag. If the game goes well in terms of sales i will be working on additional content which can be seen on the Roadmap in the Discussions part of the Steam page.
I would like to thank to all the players participating in the early access, you helped made a better game, i hope all of you will enjoy it, both rookies and veterans in the genre.
As always, if you have any bug reports, be sure to report them.

Adjustments
Kamikaze perk is now "No shield, + 100% score", was "No shield, +20% score". Shield upgrade perks no longer appear if you have Kamikaze perk active. Ben changes weapons quicker by default. Quick Draw perk no longer appears when playing as Ben. Thoraxx changes weapons slower by default.
Fixes
Fixed a bug where Hawk Eye would stay stuck during the boss sequence if you started targeting just before boss sequence. Enemy bullet speed progression over loops is now slower (it was exponential by logics mistake). Performance improvements. Fixed some translation issues (coming soon).
