Drones are coming!
Added Bullet, Energy and Weapon drones
They are not weapons, but are collectible through perks. They follow you around while shooting at enemies but DO NOT soak up bullets or draw enemy fire/homing enemies. You can have only one of each. Having all three is quite powerful.
New Waves
Added some new waves with more shielded enemies. There's more than 300 waves now and i aim for more.

Bug fixes and performance improvements
Fixed Enforcer movement method (sometimes they moved rotated instead fixed). Fixed Blaster movement method (sometimes they move rotated instead fixed). Fixed Avenger following a proper horizontal value (so he now shoots straight at you). Fixed last weapon used still appearing visually on ship upon level restart. Fixed Ripper homing system not properly deactivating so they end up entering the screen in full speed, not happening anymore. Fixed Hologram properly functioning when pausing game (it got disabled when unpausing). Fixed being able to use Hologram, Microwarp and Artillery Strike during the boss appearing sequence which caused issues, they can't be activated during the sequence anymore. Fixed Bloom to NOT affect menu items. Infiltrator (one of small enemies with laser sight that is being launched by Terran Boss) now properly targets Hologram. Fixed Short Fuse and BullHammer mines sometimes not despawning properly. Added a fail safe for ranks sometimes not being despawned when picked up. Fixed Sundyne Boss MK1 not following Hologram. Fixed a lot of stuff for overall stability and performance during longer runs and restarts. Some cosmetic fixes.
Adjustments and additions
New enemy - Shielded shielder (DUH), still need to make more waves with them. New enemy - Infiltrator, still need to make more waves with them. Slowed down Enforcer bullets. Added Syndyne space warp malfunction. Lowered Thoraxx Artillery Strike missile damage from 100 to 75 (sorry, it made bosses too easy to dispose of). Increased Metal Storm bullet damage from 7.5 to 8.5. Improved Razor firing rate by 33%. Added sound to huge explosion (when killing bosses and Big Asteroid Cannons).

QOL Improvements
Added score appearing above rank when you pick it up, i believe most of the players were oblivious that you also get 500 points for rank if it's already collected.
Ranks bar now blink to notify you you collected all ranks needed to get the promotion at the end of the level.

I noticed sometimes ranks could not be picked up (or they're picked up but not despawned), i hope i fixed that.

Perk changes
Changed Recoilless perk from "Weapons have no recoil, - 10% score" to "Weapons have no recoil".
Weapon buffs
Sprayer small bullet damage increased from 2 to 4.
Sprayer medium bullet damage increased from 5 to 8.
Sprayer big bullet damage increased from 10 to 15.
Boomer bullet damage increased from 50 to 75.
Oathbreaker bullet damage increased from 30 to 45.
Desolator damage increased from 4 to 6 (it was already buffed, but seems not enough).
Metal Storm damage increased from 5 to 7.5 (it was already buffed, but seems not enough).
Bouncer cooldown decreased from 0.5 to 0.3 (fire rate buff).
Triad cooldown decreased from 1.0 to 0.75 (fire rate buff).
Triad bullet speed increased from 2 to 2.5 (bullet speed buff).
Weapon Nerfs
Increased Flakk Recoil from 2 to 4.
Special abilities buffs
Hologram now explodes when deactivated, dealing 100 missile damage in a 0.5 radius (damage boosts work on it too).
Default Microwarp distance increased from 10 to 15 (not much as you would imagine, but seems fine).
Microwarp now cuts through the enemies that you pass through while microwarping, dealing 100 normal damage (damage boosts work on it too).
Enemies
Drillers now home in on Hologram if it is active during the lock phase.
Hunter Seekers now home in on Hologram if it is active during the lock phase.
Rift Miners boss MK1 now tracks Hologram with Dragon Jet from mouth.
Paragons boss MK3 and the detachable ship now follow Hologram.
Lowered firing rate for Doubler.
Reworked Terran Boss MK1 with new patterns and adjustments to old patterns.
Adjusted some Rift Miners Boss MK1 patterns.
Other
Enemy shield health increased from 100 to 200 to make energy weapons more viable. There is more shielded enemies coming to make it worthwhile.
You can now pick up ranks and gems while in marine mode. Weapons can't be collected.
Removed report bug button from main menu because i started preparing for console porting. Please report bugs regularly via community page.
Audio
Added bullet shell and sound for Flakk.
Added ricochet sound to indicate you're hitting an armored enemy with energy weapon and dealing half damage besides blinking orange.
Added sound activation sound to indicate you're hitting a shield with missile weapon and dealing half damage besides blinking orange.
Added some missing bullet sounds for boss bullets.
New perks and new weapon online
Perks
Short Fuse - Launch mini mines when hit. 10 mini mines are launched in random direction from the player ship when hit. Pretty cool, the mini mines are the same ones from the Bull Hammer weapon. Razor Rider - Increases Graze radius (default is 0.15, perk increases it to 0.20) - NOT stackable. Makes is quite easy to graze with that kind of radius. Matrix Stabilizer - Increases Hologram duration by 2 seconds (default is 4) - stackable, so hologram can last a pretty long time. Photon Stabilizer - Increases Microwarp distance by 5 (default is 10 units) - stackable. Muchos jumpos. Provisions - Increases Artillery Strike Missile number by 5 (default is 20) - stackable for maximum punch.
Weapons
Randomizer - Energy weapon that shoots small round bullets that randomly move around the screen, but never backwards. Damage per bullet is not bad (30 per bullet) and the firing rate is good so you can spam the screen with it while waiting for the wave to appear. However, you can't really target with it so it's kind of a gimmick weapon to have fun.
Perks balancing
Since i want a stronger feeling of importance of perk selection so you can actually make a categorized build, i improved some of the perks.
Shield Overload now adds +100 damage to shield damage instead of 50 (default is 75 for Ben, 100 for Rick, 125 for Thoraxx)
Shield Battery now adds +2 seconds to shield duration instead of +1 second (default is 0.75 seconds for Ben, 1 second for Rick, 1,25 seconds for Thoraxx)
Speed Freak now adds +0.2 speed to ship (default speeds are 1.1 for Ben, 1.0 for Rick, 0.9 for Thoraxx)
I believe that previous values were too small to make a difference and I hope these changes will improve the importance of perk selection and enable some cool ship builds in longer games like boosting the shield to last 10 seconds, make the ship go very VERY fast or make the shield damage extremely devastating.
Also, horizontal speed of ranks is lowered from a maximum of 1.5 to 1 so the player can catch up, sometimes they just move to fast and it feels unfair.
Quick Draw Perk
I believe some of you were annoyed with the speed the weapons change and would like perks to be something more substantial to the ships upgrades. I added Quick Draw perk under Support perks which enables you to switch your weapons in half the time, which is pretty much instantaneously.
