Online multiplayer is here which we have been working on the last few months, even though we are happy to announce this feature there's still some bugs and we release this feature on beta.

Now we have online multiplayer in Beta stage and all of you can now play it, at the moment there's only last man standing game mode and there's no options to choose bots to play with other players.

It is time to release RoboVirus. Get ready to rumble with all new menu and new game mode 'Deathmatch' and game feel changes!
The new selection lobby makes starting games easier and allows more ease at configuration. We have released the new Deathmatch game mode where player with the most kills will earn the crown and be the victor.

Deathmatch game mode
Along the normal 'last man standing' game mode players can also select deathmatch game mode where the player with the most kills will win.
Balancing of weapons and dash
Tweaked multiple different weapons to feel equally balanced and the dash to feel powerful enough and be used often enough
Missile Launcher has less ammo and firerate. This is a nerf!
Mini gun has limited ammo but should not run out too faster
Dash has slightly longer duration and more stun effects
Dash has impact sound
Improvements to bots
Bots were struggling in some levels with moveable objects so the settings for their routing were enhanced. We added rudimentary hazard avoidance for them, bots will return to playing area if for some reason outside of it and find targets better
New music
Several new tracks from the awesome collection by Deceased Superior Technician(DST) Fast paced tracks that speed you to blast your frenemies!
Online multiplayer will not be making into the release version, but it will be implemented soon!

Piston: Only corner piston platforms drop down
Piston: When player died on a piston platform dropping down, players didn't spawn anymore
Fissure: Players died when platforms moved down

<*> Boulder 1: The boulder didn't blink when it could be exploded
<*> Boulder 2: Now boulder/ "meatball" spawns where players are aiming
<*> Laser: Went to direction where the players moved not where they were aiming

New weapon pick-up system. Now the levels are filled with different kinds of weapons for players to pick up. The picked up weapons are generally better than the default weapons.
We wanted to let you guys know that we now have a launch date! The game will come out Sept. 1. 2019
We would also like to announce that the game will have online multiplayer on release.

Build 0.11.0 - Bugfixes and optimizing
This update has been focusing on fixing bugs and testing new features in our underlying game engine (Unity). We finished moving to a new graphics pipeline, which should mean much better FPS for many players, especially if you have lower end devices, like laptops. The graphics change also meant that we had to redo much the overall look of the game, so we decided to go and "experiment" a little :)
Unfortunately there isn't much new content this time, people are traveling through events and having their much needed vacations. Currently we are working on weapon pick-ups and new weapons, and they should be in the next release in a couple of weeks.

<*> Pressing back (game pad B or ESC) in waiting lobby (where you choose your character) before you have joined doesn't return you to main menu
<*> Pressing back in map select causes 2 input events to be given, and the game goes to the main menu
<*> Some characters' dashing animation allows you to briefly shoot through obstacles
<*> Players can stun others with dash through thinner walls
<*> Bots may spawn in incorrect places in level Fissure if the platforms start moving during spawn
<*> Level changing can get stuck if the game is quit during a round's end
In this update we focused to make new additions to user interface, now there's even more characters to choose for and even an option to change character colors. In user interface you can see new loading screen with tips and in game there's icons to indicate lives, health bar and which weapon is in use.

We updated robot selection menu and now it's possible to change your character. In the backend we changed code structure from the ground up reason for these modifications are the following: code management gets easier and we can make faster changes to the game, less errors and bugs.

Lately we haven’t updated as frequently as before, but we have been working hard “under the hood”. We have changed code structure from the ground up as well as
graphics rendering pipeline. Reason for these changes are the following: code management gets easier and we can make faster changes to the game, less errors and bugs.
A lot of our old code was not well suited for the features we want to implement for the final release, and we decided that now would be a good time to do an overhaul. Many of the features in the roadmap would have needed a lot of changes to our code base, and we expect the overhaul to speed up further development. That being said, our next release might have a bunch of new bugs since a lot of the code is completely new, and we would be thrilled if you could report them!
The graphics rendering pipeline change helps us to make game more optimized which results less stuttering and more fps for the gamers. We had noticed that a lot of you guys have had FPS problems with laptops and such, and we’d like to offer a pleasant experience for as many of you as possible.
