Final Stretch
Time has been flying since we announced our release date just a few weeks ago. It is now less than 3 weeks to go, before Roche Fusion will be available on Steam for everyone.
This means that we are really on our final stretch, working hard to make sure the game will be as awesome as possible. Just over the last two weeks, and in particular in a new closed-beta release last weekend, we have added Steam achievements, statistics and more. We are also busy polishing every aspect of the game and balancing the game play as best we can.
Through all of this, we are working very closely with out closed-beta testers. We have been putting out new builds of the game on a weekly basis, and are now switching to twice a week. This way, our players have a lot of influence on the final points and details of the game, making sure it will be as fun as possible when we release.
Overall this is a stressful, but also very exciting time. While we still have a lot of work cut out for us, we are confident that we will have a successful and amazing, if not exploding launch.
We want to thank everybody who has stuck with us over the months, and also welcome all our newer fans. If you would like to see Roche Fusion become as big as possible be sure to put the game on your Steam wish-list, like our Facebook, follow us on Twitter, or do the many other things you can do.
And of course share it with your friends, family, random strangers on the internet, and whoever else may be interested in some exploding fun!

Moving our Closed Beta to Steam
We have now officially been on Steam for about two weeks. One of the things we did right away after announcing our release date was moving our closed beta program to Steam too. We have been in closed beta for about half a year now and have received so much valuable feedback already. It is fair to say that we could not have gotten as far as we have without our fans.
We are very grateful for the fact that people are willing to help us, and would like to give something back to our fans. Of course the first way to do that is by trying to make Roche Fusion as fun as possible. But we want to reward our beta players with a little more during this last stage of development; We will be giving out rewards to the most active of our beta testers!
These rewards range from entry in the game's credits, to co-designing a future upgrade with one of the developers that will then be added to the game. What rewards each player will get depends solely on how much useful feedback they provide, and how active they are within our community in general.
You can read more about the exact details of the different reward-tiers in this post: http://rochefusion.com/devlog/271/steam-beta-awardments
We are still looking for testers in our closed beta program! If you would like to help to make Roche Fusion more awesome with your feedback and suggestions, or just be a part of our community, you can apply here:
http://rochefusion.com/beta/apply
Aside from being able to play the most current version of the game, joining the the beta program also makes you eligible for those rewards.
For the time being, we have to get back to work. There is still a lot to do before our release in a month.

Announcing Release Date With New Trailer!
Today we got quite a number of big announcements to make!
We made our Steam store page public just last week. This week, as promised, we are excited to announce our release date and we would like to do so with a brand new, awesome, and exploding trailer!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUzzaDCPqrg
We will release Roche Fusion on January 23 of next year!
Until then we invite you to follow our Steam Community page, where we will be posting updates, news and other things to keep everyone up to date.
Other Changes
With the game being so close to release, we are now entering the last stage of our development process. This comes with a number of exciting changes:
First, we are closing down our open beta, since that version of the game has become really out of date over the last few months.
Secondly, we are moving our closed beta program to Steam. What that means is that our beta testers will from now on get updates to the beta version of Roche Fusion automatically and directly through Steam, and will already be able to get some achievements, and soon also compare their scores through the steam leaderboard system.
Lastly, we want to thank our beta testers and give something back to our great community of players who have been instrumental in making Roche Fusion what it is today with their feedback and suggestions. What we decided to do is use a tiered reward system, with rewards ranging from an entry in the game's credits, to designing an actual upgrade in the game.
You can find more details on that here: Steam Beta Awardments
