V 0.3 is now in Beta. We are not finished with the artwork / sounds / effects but the core game play is there ready to be tested!
Here is what has changed in this beta version.
Enemies now have their own abilities!
Charging - Charges at the hero at a fast speed from a long distance away doing damage on impact
Ranged - Attacks from range with projectiles
Sneaky - Will move from one side of the Hero to the other in order to surround the Hero
Protector - Takes less damage and blocks abilities that do damage in a line
Powerful - A special attack with more damage and less accuracy
Focused - A special attack with more accuracy but less damage
Berserker - Performs three quick attacks
Reviver - Brings defeated enemies back into the battle!
Poisonous - A special attack that drains the Hero's health over time
Bomber - Launches a projectile into the air that damages the Hero when it hits the ground
Healer - Heals damaged enemies
Skills
Weasel bomb now only counts down from 2
Rat Soul Leech and Blood Pact swapped places
Soul Leech now instantly does damage and drains health
Misc
Enemies now have different sizes and collide accordingly
Crafting multiple items in a row is now easier
Notification appears when you can craft items

Rodent Warriors v0.3 beta!
Hi everyone!
Just a quick note to say that we just released a very early beta version of 0.3 which will contain Enemy abilities!
There is still a lot more work to do but if you want to follow along with our progress, you can choose the beta 0.3.0 version of Rodent Warriors in Steam. For now we have 5 abilities and only 1 of them has the proper animations. But you can expect us to update this beta 0.3 version every couple of days.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to give you an update on what we are working on, as normally we have been making releases every couple of days.
Right now we are working on adding Enemy abilities to the game. This is going to take a little more time than some of the other updates.
I would estimate we are about 25% complete. It will take a little longer for this update but we believe it's going to be worth it, as giving enemies more abilities and more personality is going to make the game more dynamic and fun to play!

Gameplay
Weasel new skill Bomb! replaces Plunder - Weasel secretly places a bomb on a defeated enemy that explodes after 3 seconds
For every 100 hero levels reached, the enemies start 10 levels higher on the first quest
Misc
Added tutorial for enemy level change
Symbols can now be used to guarantee an Epic Item when crafting with a small chance of a Legendary Item

We have reached a new minor version number. Hooray!
The list of changes looks small but they are significant. Here is what changed for version 0.2
GamePlay
Symbol Recipes have been added! The Hero now collects Symbols that can be used to enhance items.
UI
Combat overlay system has been reworked. There are no more tabs, but scrolling screens
Misc
A tutorial for Symbols has been added
Increase number of relic slots from 8 to 12

Gameplay
No more targeted skills - Mouse Trap and Magic Orb now cast a set distance in the direction the Hero is facing
Misc
Tweaked the amounts that Challenges affect Hero
Improved Auto Play combat decisions
Bug Fixes
Fixed bug that was not allowing quest to end if auto play had a glitch
Fixed bug where buff icons were not in the right position
Music and sound volumes set to 0 when game first loads until values can be determined

We have just released a new version with some minor improvements. Here are the details.
Gameplay
Rat (Necromancer) can now only summon a maximum of 4 of each type of Skeletons
Misc
Changed how fade in and out works when switching maze orientation - now the UI does not fade in and out
Changed enemy distance to end at 0m
Skeletons no longer walk over top of treasure chests and quest items
Damage texts for damage values less than 1 no longer display
Ring bonus skill levels are now higher
Changed how auto player traverses maze... should be smarter now!
