  • Vampire Elite ability: Reduced from 5% per attack to 2%
  • Vampire Elite ability: total regen is now capped to heal 100% of the enemy health at maximum before disabling itself
  • Martyr Elite ability: No longer heal boss
  • Increased necromancer Decaying health over time, from 10% per pattern to 20%

Update 0.7 is here, and it's massive



D-rank World for Rog's Mode


This adds a whole new world rank for Rog's mode, this new world rank is separated in a 3 zone (the forest, the desert, and a whole new zone).



Anachronistic Ability


The rewards for completing D-rank Difficulty.
Anachronistic ability is an ability you can buy in the C-rank Soul-shop
This ability allows you to slow down time around you!


Challenge Mode


Felling the game is a bit too simple?
Challenges, are optional ways to add difficulty into your run to increase soul-Coin reward and unlocks.



E-rank World for Survivors mode


A new difficulty tier for survivors, taking place in the desert biome, you'll need to complete E-rank Rog's mode to unlock this new survivors mode.



3 new weapons and 1 weapon new evolution


This update also bring 3 whole new weapon and one weapon evolution!

Shaman's Staff


Stolen from the warm hands of the shaman, this weapon fires a huge amount of projectiles in front of you


Throwing knife


Launch projectile upon dashing, enemies killed by the knife refill one dash charge, use them carefully!


Worm Gland


Ripped from the giant worm, this weapon will throw acid balls around you, leaving a pool of powerful acid.


Arcanist's Staff


I'll not spoil too much about this one.

Elites and champions modifier


Starting in D-rank world, Elite and Champions will possess strong passive ability, making them much more dangerous than they used to be!

The projectile system as been completely remade from scratch to greatly improve performance when you have thousand of projectiles on screen at the same time

Check your current game stats anytime, you can view here your number of kills, soul-coin you should gain, but also the specifics of your current challenge


Corruption


A new stat has appeared, Corruption is made by taking the powerful instable card. It increases the strength of your enemies, but also increase your experience gain, be careful!


New musics and musics reworked


Almost all of the music in the game got reworked and improved, Musics were also made for the desert combat stage, and 2 new music for the new zone has been created.

Achievements


One of the most asked addition to the game were most Steam achievements, so here is 500% more achievements in this update!

Modding !


While in a very early stage, modding has started to sprout on the discord!
you can find pack of card doubling the amount of card available in the game.

Other minors stuffs


- Artifact Pools: some artifact can only be obtained in boss stage reward, other from the other or shop.
- Slight inflation rebalance and shop price chance
- Banish, rarity-reroll and reroll refill can be bought in shop and blacksmith
- Rarity reroll no longer give the same 2 soul-cards
- Complete experience formula rework
-Many other things I have forgotten.

Information Regarding Next Major Update (0.7)

Hello Everyone!



I've seen a few concerns regarding the lack of updates.

First off, Anyone can already play and test out the current version of the game using the beta branch.
This branch gets daily updates, with patchnote posted on the official game discord.
For those wanting to try out the beta, you need to know that the save ARE NOT backward compatible, meaning if you switch to the beta, you won't be able to switch back your progress to the main branch until the Major Update drop.

I also know a large majority of the players prefer to wait the major update drop than playing an unstable beta, and that they start to get a bit impatient to play out all the new features.

Game price will increase on this update, from 2.99$ to 4.99$



So, when is the update gonna be available in the main branch?



Short answer, 2 to 3 weeks from today


So you can expect it between the 8 and 15 November.

Most of the planned major features are added to the game, however, a lot of content is still missing (cards, monsters, monster passives, soul-shop upgrades) as well a big balancing pass (you can notice all the feedback about the balance in the forum)

Open Beta

Hello everyone!



First off I would like to thank all of you for playing Rogue: Genesia!

The first (and half) week of release was quite intense, There has been a lot of the hotfix, lots of missed issues to fix and minor problems with a few stuff.

I could spend another month or two just fixing leftover bug and balancing some elements.
However, I also wish for Rogue: Genesia to advance and gain the content!

In a few days, the open beta of Rogue: Genesia will start.



Ton of new contents will be quickly added over the first few weeks (likely for 2/4 weeks).
Then I'll focus on stabilizing the beta and prepare it for the next main update.

Players who wish to come with the beta must be warned than this beta will be broken, some update may even break some save. Contain a lot of unfinished and placeholder.
