- Shotgun damage increased: Single shot damage increased for the M870,M1887, and AA12;
2. General Experience
- Grenades can break through glass and continue its trajectory;
- The custom room has been optimized;
- Optimized the way in which item information is stored. Once optimization has been completed, item records recently acquired by the player will be erased, but this will not affect future records and will not affect items that have already been acquired.
3. UI
- Optimized battle results, player information, information interface and the app icon badge;
- The theme interface has been moved to the looks interface;
4. Bug Fixes
- Some devices do not support the sending of text messages during battles (need to re-download game)
- Glass is not displayed normally on some devices;
- Repaired a bug that affects the battle jeep in Death Race Mode where players are unable to take weapons from the trunk and weapons disappear when they switch to the middle seat;
- Repaired an issue where shared event boxes occasionally cannot be opened;
- Repaired a bug where the player is brought to the parachute tab regardless of the type of new time they acquire in the inventory.

We are still working with Steam on possibly implementing VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) to assist with cheater prevention. It will take time though as this requires a number of changes to Rules of Survival and various approval processes.
Cheaters Update*
What We Did During August 3rd - August 9th
1. 342,288 More Survivors were Banned from Rules of Survival for having been caught cheating or using illegal methods within Rules of Survival.
2. Continually discovering the various ESP, Aimbots, Fast Landing & Super Jump third party plug-ins, along with others that cheaters have used to compromise Rules of Survival and upgraded our Anti-Cheat Systems to compensate for them.
3. We are continuing to BAN DEVICES** in order to bring fairness back to Rules of Survival and punish those that ruin the game.
4. During Every Maintenance Period, there was an upgrade in detecting 3rd party plug-ins being used in conjunction with Rules of Survival.
5. Ban Appeals are continually being processed and taken care of by our customer support team.
6. Enhanced detection of data-modifying plugins. Increased speed and accuracy of several anti-hack measures.

In-Game Issues
No-Recoil Bug
Issue:
A bug was triggered that allowed no recoil to be active when interacting with vehicles.
Status:
It has been fixed and a reminder that appropriate penalities will be given for exploiting in-game bugs.
We encourage survivors to adopt an atmosphere of integrity and honesty within RoS.
Not Receiving Diamonds
Status:
Some users have experienced not receiving Diamonds after purchase. We are currently investigating what is causing the issue, however there is a record of it recorded on our system once payment is made, nothing is lost.
Recommendation:
If you are a PC User:
The issue may be fixed by tapping to scan the payment again with your mobile phone but Do Not Pay Again. Then cancel out. This may help to refresh the system. If the issue persists, please send an e-mail to gamerulesofsurvival@service.netease.com and include your in-game name/ID, Server, along with any relevant information about your payment.

1. New Content
- New rifle available; the QBZ97, also known as the type 97 assault rifle. This gun uses rife ammo and can attach muzzles, magazines and scopes. A bullpup-style assault rifle that is stable, short, possesses good balance, high accuracy and low recoil.
- Firecracker grenades are now available.

- Projectiles fired from g-launchers and rocket tubes continue to travel forward after they break through glass.
3. Bug Fixes
- Repaired an error that causes characters to carry firearms incorrectly or causes crosshairs to become inaccurate after frequently scoping and unscoping in FPS mode.
- Repaired an error that affected the normal display of characters on some devices.
- Repaired an error that prevented some players from joining servers after the game has been updated.
- Repaired an error that caused the live stream button and settings button to overlap.
- The Pyroclasm skin is now available in Death Race Mode

1. New Content
- New Crossbow Attachment - Grenade Launcher. When fitted with this attachment, the crossbow will shoot grenades that explode upon impact. Most in-game throwables can be launched using the crossbow, but their velocity will be decreased and descent will quicken. Throwables are attached by default.
2. General Experience
- Players using old game packs will receive update reminders when logging in and can update the game according to said reminders. You may not be able to match with other players if you do not update;
- Melee weapons are automatically sheathed when players enter the water and begin swimming. Players can only attack with their fists when swimming;
- Adjusted the drop rate of crossbows and arrows. Firecracker grenades are now available.
3. UI
- Optimized the special effects of bullets hitting riot shields;
- Optimized Gold Mode event icons;
4. Bug Fixes
- Repaired the problem of MP5 stock attachments not appearing on the Ghillie Island map;
- Repaired the problem of players in certain regions being unable to download FPS Mode and the 8K Map;
- Repaired the problem of some devices being unable to upload profile pics in Seek;
- Repaired the problem of in-game characters disappearing in games played on certain phones models.

Patch Notes On July 25th 2018 | Riot Shield Added!
Attention Survivors:
Rules of Survival will be updated from Jul.24-25 with the aim of improving your gaming experience. Check maintenance times below to see when it takes place in your region.

1. New Content
- New melee weapon added, the Riot Shield.
Players have a chance to get the riot shield from airdrops. They are used to deflect damage caused by bullets, but players carrying riot shields cannot vault walls or lie prone. Also, carrying a shield will slow your sprint speed.
- Added a speaker function for chat.
Players can use the speaker to broadcast on the world channel, which Players can see in the lobby.
2. General Experience
- Firearm properties have been modified. For a more balanced user experience the following changes have been made to firearms this week: Increased firing speed for the M4A1; increased damage for the M14EBR; increased the damage and firing speed for the AN94; increased the spread of the AKM;
- Modified the number of firearms scattered around the map in each game mode;
- Vehicle properties have been modified: Increased the top speed of trucks;
- Players firing from within a vehicle in all game modes will not cause damage to the vehicle they are traveling in. The bullets will instead pass through the vehicle;
- Repair kits used in Death Race Mode will display the estimated HP of vehicles after repair;
- Reduce the chances of dusk being used as the weather condition for ranked games.
- Improved hack detection.
3. UI
- Optimized the visual effects of the helicopter's rotors in Death Race Mode;
4. Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug affecting profile pictures uploaded in Personal Space. Screen shots didn't match up with the end product;
- Repaired lag in the game caused by personalized packs in the new version of the game using old data;
- Vehicles used on the PC version can be used as shelter has been repaired;
- Repaired a bug that caused the game to lag when receiving multiple friend requests for players with a substantial number of friends.
- Fixed bug that caused no recoil when firing.
- Fixed a dragging problem that occurs within the friend list causing the list to reset.
- Fixed bug that resulted in Players being unable to unfragement clothes.

- New weapon: Crossbow
A medium to close range weapon with a clear, falling trajectory. Crossbows are quiet, deal high damage and come with a scope.
2. General Experience
- New "Item Guide" tag added to the Death Race Mode prep zone;
- Optimized the sound effects for Death Race Mode items;
- Optimized the statistical methods for obtaining materials in combat;
- Upgraded the display of scopes;
- Optimized damage dealt with crossbows, dealing higher medium range damage;

- Optimized friend list updates;
- Optimized the speed of checking patches when entering the game;
- Replaced the sound effects for materials hit in Death Race Mode;
