Character & Combo System Reworks Several characters have had their combo lists reworked and feature new Combo Style systems. Combo Styles affect the ways that characters interact with their Abilities and Combo Lists to allow for unique playstyle options.
Klon: Freestyle Combos Combo inputs in this style do not differentiate between the left/right hand and allow a slash to be successfully created with either hand.
Solara: Combo Cut While Frenzy is active, completing a Combo will reduce the number of steps needed to complete them by one, this removes the first current step in the Combo. Completing multiple Combos will continue to shorten each of the Combos, if a Combo only has one step remaining it will be removed from the list. Completing any single step Combo will reset the Combo Shortening and revert the list to its original length.
Knight: Unlock Combos Some Combos in a Combo List will begin as Locked Combos and will only unlock after performing specific Unlock Combos. Performing an Unlocked Combo will re-lock it and require another Unlock Combo to be performed to be used again.
Gunslinger: Infinites Some Combos can repeat the final step or steps multiple times within a limited window to perform multiple Combo Finishers. These will be noted on the Combo List by a symbol.
Samurai: Link Combos Some Combos are designated as Link Combos, upon completing a Link Combo it may be followed up with Linked Combos which can only be started upon the completion of the specific Link Combo they are attached to. Linked Combos can have other Linked Combos attached to them as well.
Artificer: Upgrde Combos Using Upgrade Combos will provide a benefit to the Character, such as increasing the Health and Damage of the Drone Ability. Each Upgrade Combo can affect a different attribute or corresponding Drone Lane.
