Samudai

Update June 5 2015 - 0.99a

It's been a while since we've last pushed an update. The game has had a major overhaul behind the screens, we have upgraded our development software to a new version.
Here are the changes you can expect;

- Improved performance and overall stabillity
- Removed a subtle lighting effect to greatly improve performance

- Greatly improved one-way colliders
- Added one-way collision to the Tori in the beach, summit and yarnball levels
- Fixed bug where players would become unresponsive right after pressing start when the game has started
- Fixed a bug where the character would get stuck in the landing animation sometimes
- Ghost now collide with eachother to prevent them from overlapping
- Changed jumping enemy health in The Lone Samudai to 1 health instead of 2

- Fixed a graphical bug with the scroll pickup
- Fixed bug where team icons sometimes would not show up on characters
- Fixed confetti particles upon victory in the extra modes

We did a whole bunch of work on the walljump too;
- Characters only stick to walls when you are tilting the analog stick into the wall's direction
- Characters now let go automatically when the stick is centered for 200ms
- Fixed a bug where the character would not transition from the fall animation to the wall-sticking animation
- Fixed a bug where wall-sticking would sometimes get detected as a landing

We did not have the chance to test the new software update on a lot of difference machines, so if you encounter any problems please let us know!

Update February 4 2015 - 0.95f

We have pushed an update for the game regarding the follow changes;

GAMEPLAY
- Fixed a bug where the extra modes (Emperor of the Hill, Hold Your Ground, Last Cat Standing) would still work under team-battle rules after you had played the main mode with 4 players previously.
- Team indicator/out of view indicator now is transparent and in greyscale when a player has died to avoid confusion whether they died, or were simply out of camera bounds.
- Fixed an issue where you could move past the camera bounds in the tutorial on some resolutions.
