Beetle Breeding & Artifacts - Update (V0.4.9)

Beetle Breeding


A new Beetle Habitat has been added to your bunker. This device allows you to mix and match beetle species to create new ones. When you breed two of the same species they will gather specific liked items corresponding to their species,

Anomalous Artifacts


Anomaly Orbs now protect an Artifact which will be used in the future to power ancient machinery. Each Artifact will have a corresponding power value which can be harnessed to create other items of your choice out of thin air.

Weather Events


Weather is finally in the game with two unique weather events, rainy and blood moon. Rainy days will be used for the fishing mechanic in the future and blood moons will make enemies more difficult.

Skill Pills


The semi-Roguelike skill system in the game has been revamped to your everyday skill pill. Each day you will choose one pill which will enhance your character's abilities in some way.

Introduction to Crude Oil


The oil towers around the map have now changed and can be looted for Crude Oil. When the Scooter gets introduced into the game Crude Oil will be a valuable fuel source.

New Game Settings


You may now toggle on or off, cheats, peaceful mode, and skipping the intro. The developer console used with cheats on has been fully reworked and now previews items before spawning and can even autocomplete suggestions.

Hello everyone, this update is one of the biggest ones in a while. The next step is to add the finishing touches to the main gameplay elements and the quest / NPC dialogue system. After this V0.5 will come out which will mark the start of the story and quest updates. Although many new features will be added, most of the work will be adding unique branching storylines to the game to give it more replayability and a more real environment for the players to get lost in.

Update (V0.4.5)

Within the next few updates, I will completely rework the current achievements and add many more to an in-game achievement menu. The new enemy in this update also has some visual and logic changes that still need to be made. Thanks for playing!

Update (V0.4.4.5)

Quick update which lays out the groundwork for overhauling how the intro of the game plays out. Instead of selecting a starting kit like before you now spawn in a locker room at the bottom of the elevator which you can loot. This area is only accessible during the beginning of a new game. It will soon have a timer (~30 seconds), making you rush to get the loot you want. Such as in games like '60 Seconds' or 'Radiant Residents'.

Sound & Optimization Update (V0.4)

Hello again, recently I have been working on the backend and small details in the game. This includes reworking the entire audio system to work with FMOD and Steam Audio. With these changes, many things in the game had to be done from scratch which delayed some gameplay improvements. I will now shift focus onto gameplay and replayability to make up for this update's focus. Thanks and hope you enjoy the changes!
