I am sorry for the lack of communication from me throughout the past year I was busy with school and work. Although I continued to work on and update the game, I never posted any update notes. So prepare for many changes, and most won't be listed because I forgot about many changes.

Major Updates



  • Total biome and world gen rework

Game Feel Update (V0.1.5)

This update list may seem small but the general feel of the game is coming along nicely and the gameplay experience should be less buggy and more solid than before.

New Features



  • More procedural animations added to weapon sway & shooting
  • Overall movement & animations changes to feel more fluid & responsive


Changes



  • Many more details added to starting bunker
  • Spirit-Walker Ragdolls now match the clothing and limbs they have
  • Reload animation lowered & also improved
  • The game will now run properly without being connected to steam


Fixes



  • Dying grass value too low
  • Ragdoll arms no longer glitch and move
  • Loading will no longer get stuck on Finializing Terrain

Major Patch #9 (V0.1.4.5)

New Features



  • Actual reload animation now added
  • Deleting saves now has a popup warning
  • Loading screen now has tips (only a few for now)
  • New footstep sounds added when outside


Changes



  • Anomalies now pulse the player's screen instead of a constant shake
  • Anomalies sound is now changed to sound more organic
  • Gun sounds have now changed to sound more realistic
  • Fade out to the loading screen is now 2x faster
  • Moped audio is now quieter
  • Screen shake has been changed to a new system (Elevator will be different)


Fixes



  • Mirror player reflection floating (Not 100% fixed yet)
  • Player no longer bounces while in the elevator

Merchants & Mirrors Update (V0.1.4)

Merchants



The first merchant has been added, the Squatting Merchant. He is the lowest tier merchant planned but is right inside your bunker allowing you to get food, water, and crafting materials quickly. All items now have a sell value and can be sold at any merchant.

Mirrors



A non-raytracing mirror has been added to the bunker that reflects the player. In later updates the mirror will be used for player customization like suit color & design.

Next Major Update (Q4 July)


The next major update will add in the reputation system along with a new faction, location, and merchant. Reputation will carry across saves and allow the player to unlock better items and lower prices for each individual merchant or faction.

  • Complete Item system overhaul for better performance
  • Polygon count in the entire game has been reduced (Huge performance gains)
  • Forests & grass should now be less laggy


Fixes



  • Items type now displays in the correct orientation
  • The sprinting animation no longer shows up while in your inventory

Minor Patch #8 (V0.1.3.4)

  • You can now quickly store items in Crates with shift
  • The loading screen now has a progress bar

Major Patch #7 (V0.1.3.3)

Changes



  • You can now hold Shift to quickly move items
  • Items now outline when hovered over

  • You no longer spawn part way into the elevator roof

  • Other optimizations of code were made (mainly future proofing)

Moped & Safebox Update (V0.1.2)



New Vehicle


You no longer have to walk now with the Moped which comes fully repaired and drivable at the start of any save. In the future, you will have to repair it yourself making it a more end-game tool. The Moped has a trunk that can be used to store items while out exploring. The location of the vehicle will always be displayed on your compass.



How the Safebox Works


The Safebox is a large storage container beside your bed that can be used to transfer and save items between saves. This means that rare items which you would like to keep upon death should be stored here. This will help make the game easier the more you play which means you will be able to score higher.

Other Changes:

  • Added ragdolls to Spirit-Walkers
  • Ambient Occlusion now in settings
  • Inventory grid is now more opaque


This update should've come out 5 days ago but due to my Unity Engine corrupting I couldn't bake the lighting so I needed to fix that issue before I could release it.

Major Patch #6 (V0.1.2.2)

Decided to also drop a Patch today since I got a lot done.

Changes



  • You now slowly die of hunger or thirst instead of instantly
  • Warnings are shown if you are dying or about to die in your inventory
  • Totally Revamped Beginner's Guide
  • Added close button to loot
  • Beginner's Guide now closes with your inventory


Fixes



  • Barrel SFX is now not a Garbage bag
  • Save causing Out Of Bounds error while sleeping
  • First Aid Item SFX Changed from pills SFX
  • Fixed Beginner's Guide SFX
  • Alarm & Breathe volume turned down

Enviroment & Graphics Update (V0.1.2)

In this patch, I worked on the ambiance and environment art along with fixing some major bugs.
