We are happy and excited to announce that Schacht has now been fully released!
Within about four and a half months of Early Access and with the feedback of the community, our team behind Schacht has continued to put a lot of time and effort into improving the game and developing it further.
Schacht is all about challenges - for example, try to pronounce "Schacht" correctly! Other than that, the game offers daily, weekly, and monthly challenges for you to compete in against your friends and players from all over the world. Find out who is the fastest, set new highscores, and become number 1. Let your friends grow desperate while they try to follow your ghost in the asynchronous multiplayer!
Our procedural algorithm gives you the freedom to choose from 4.294.967.296 different levels. We tested all of them and can assure you that most of them are great (two or three sucked though)! Still have too much time on your hand? The Training Mode provides you with levels that are literally endless.
If you are still not satisfied with the variety of levels and have hunger for more, try out the Level Editor! With some creativity, you can craft your own fancy levels, upload them to the workshop and share them with the community.
The character customization system offers a broad variety of accessories and items for you to choose from. Wear a mustache! Carry a banana around in space! Take out the trash! Put on some wings or a tutu! Nobody will judge you. ːsteamhappyː
And no matter what other important things you might have to do right now, in Schacht you can literally run away from your responsibilities.

Content Patch #4 (0.8.0)
Hello everybody!
Before the final release, we want to update Schacht with one big, last patch!
It comes with several new features, like additions to the Avatar Customization system and the possibility to add levels to your Favorites list, as well as some Improvements and Bugfixes.
New Features
There are 5 new character skins available in the Avatar Customization
One new accessory has also been added to the Avatar Customization
Added cutscene for level end sequences
New death sounds
Level seeds can now be added to the Favorites list
There now is a list of popular random levels available
10 new segments have been added to the random levels and the Level Editor
The option to set your own keybindings has been added to the settings

Hotfix (0.5.4)
Today we just updated the game with a quick hotfix, which crashed the game when trying to use the mouse scroll wheel or the right stick of the gamepad in a level.

We hope that everybody had a wonderful Christmas and a great start into 2017.
For Schacht 2017 starts with a few bug fixes and slight improvements on its way to the full release in the next couple weeks.

As an early Christmas gift to the community, we are proud to present to you our Christmas patch!

Roadmap Changes
Hello everyone!
After the bug fix patch we sat together and evaluated our current road map.
We came to the conclusion to seperate the content from the individual patches.
We will still have a patch every 2 weeks, but we want to focus on important and interesting features, rather than limiting us with set goals we agreed upon 3 months ago. This way we will be even more flexible in providing improvements and implementing new features we or you came up with during the early access phase.
Nothing changes for the content of the currently planned features! You can find them, and what we implemented so far, in the general discussions board here on steam.
Bug Fix Patch (0.4.0)
Hi all!
Today we release a few bug fixes, some new little features and improvements!
Ghost camera, rumble feedback and a new force field style are only some of the changes we have for you.
New Features
New end screen for levels implemented
The player can now follow the ghosts with the camera by pressing G on the keyboard or D-Pad Down on the controller
Rumble feedback for the controller got implemented – the controller now rumbles when wallrunning or grappling
When triggering a checkpoint you will now hear a sound
Previously played random seeds are now in a list
Improvements
Hud Timer got a facelift
Reduced LOD popping on several meshes
Improved collision on some segments
New forcefield style
New meteors :D
Optimized performance of the skybox
Elevator on start and end segment got revisited

Level Editor - Road Map Changes
Hello everybody!
We are currently working hard on the level editor for Content Patch 3.
Due to its complexity and as we want to make an ingame editor instead of using a third party tool, we will switch the bug fix patch with Content Patch 3.
There will be no changes to the content of either of the two patches, just the dates are switched.
