Patch 1.4.1.0 Notes
Patch 1.4.1.0 is now live
Hello everyone, today's patch adds Ukranian UI to the game and fixes various bugs. Thanks to all of you who keep reporting minor (and sometimes major 😅) bugs and by doing this help us fix them!
We also added a Game Analytics system to the game. The reason for this is that the game is now at a point where the most requested and most necessary features have been added. Since Early Access entry in 2019 and official release in October, 2020 a LOT has changed. Visually and gameplay-wise the game has certainly grown. Now it is time for us to gain deeper insights into how our community actually plays the game. Often times in the past we had to guess what does and what does not work (short reminder of a certain patch, which was reverted very shortly after, that made it necessary for everyone in a lobby to have premium in order to play all game modes). Read more about which data we collect in our Privacy Policy.
Qualitative feeedback in Discord, Reviews, comments and DMs always helps tremendously and will continue to be our most important way of connecting with you, our community. However, sometimes to make the correct decisions you need hard data and that is exactly what we hope to achieve with this change. Information for example about which tools are used the most and what lobby settings are popular will help us build upon the good things and make it easier to decide which things to cut from the game.
Please rest assured that we will NEVER sell any of your data and handle it with the most care. If you have any questions about this integration of Game Analytics don't hesitate and reach out to our Devs in Discord.
As always, we encourage you to give us feedback or opinions about the game on our Discord server or on Twitter!
Have a good day, everyone!

Patch 1.4.0.0 Notes
Patch 1.4.0.0 is now live
It's been a while! But we have not been lazy since the last update. Today several big changes are coming to the game. Let's dive into what exactly changed.
As always we encourage you to give us feedback or opinions about the game on our Discord server or on Twitter!
Likely the most requested feature. Now it is finally here: From now on you if you encounter offensive, negative, or disruptive experiences you can report players via an integrated report system.
In the above screenshot you can see the reasons for reporting a player. Cases where a player receives a certain amount of reports will be reviewed by us and sanctions against this player will be put in place.
Guidelines for reporting Players
Behaviour that you should report:
Trying to game the system by writing letters on the canvas to tell others players the correct solution to a word.
Drawing inappropriate or offensive things.
Absolutely any kind of hate speech or racism.
Spamming (i.e. writing the same thing or really long paragraphs over and over again). Note: Trying to guess the word and submitting many different guesses is NOT spamming.
Offensive player names.
Behaviour that you should NOT report:
Strong language that does not insult or demean other people.
Drawing poorly but still trying.
Drawing really good.
Abuse of the report system will also result in sanctions.
New Lobby and Pause Menu UI
We are slowly but surely bringing a new, more timely UI look and feel to the game. The first step in this direction is the introduction of a new sidebar. Pressing Escape while inside a lobby or a game round will from now on open the sidebar. This allows you to easily access lobby settings and a player list. Here is a short preview on what the new UI looks like:
You can also quickly access the playerlist menu by clicking on a player in-game or in the lobby. This means if you want to mute/votekick/report or simply have a look at a player's Steam profile you can do so very quickly by clicking on said player in the player list or in the lobby. The video below shows how this works.
Improved Scoring System
We continue to make changes to the way you earn points in Scribble It! based on your feedback. With the new system a guessing player can earn a maximum of 1000 points and a drawing player can earn a maximum of 1250. Our goal is to reward drawing skills and make the scoring fair for both drawing and guessing players. In big lobbies it is really hard to have everyone make the correct guess. This means if a player is so good at drawing that a full lobby guesses the correct solution he should be rewarded accordingly. In small lobbies it is more essential that players guess fast because convincing 3 players is a lot easier than 15 but here time should be of the essence.
Various other Changes
Good news for all free-to-play players. We know that our yellow can sometimes strain the eyes a bit. Therefore we unlocked another green-ish color for all players.
Another change we made concerns the creation of word packages. You now have to accept our Word Package Guidelines everytime you are creating a new package. This is another measure to reduce the amount of obscene word packages that are being released into the wild.
Also we are happy to announce that we added Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Ukranian and Korean word packages.
