This update has plenty of bug fixes to help you keep on saving the Multiverse!
Cards that look for the targets with the highest or lowest HP now show you that information when you view the full size card.
When a dynamic damage amount changes during the damage dealing event (e.g. redirecting Lightspeed Barrage with Synaptic Interruption) the animation now reflects the change.
When a new damage event occurs during a damage dealing event, both animations are now correctly displayed.
Fixed a problem with Restart Game and Try Again for the Adamant Sentinels.
Entomb once again works correctly when Sky-Scraper is in the game.
Fixed problems where Caliginous Form would not work properly with redirected damage or villain targets that were immune to damage.
Some players were experiencing significant lag at the start of the second hero turn; this should now be resolved.
Many other small bug fixes and improvements have been made.
What's New in Version 2.3 - Vengeance!
Baron Blade has long suffered at the hands of self-proclaimed "heroes." No longer! He has gathered a team, the Vengeful Five. Baron Blade will have his Vengeance!
The Vengeance mega-expansion is now available. It includes 5 new heroes, 2 new environments, and a brand new way to play the game against a team of 3-5 villains. There are 3 new hero variants to discover in this expansion!
You can read more about the Vengeance content on our blog
Vengeance is also available as part of Season Pass 2.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/467511/
Season Pass 2 owners will automatically receive Vengeance.
This update includes many more improvements and bug fixes, including:
Every environment in the game and expansion packs has 5 new background images to support Vengeance and provide more variety.
Any time a card is played out of turn, you now first see the back of the card so you know what deck it belongs to.
Prime Wardens Captain Cosmic’s innate power can no longer be “stacked.” You may only draw or play a card if you shuffle the destroyed construct into your deck.
The behavior of Shinobi Assassin has been changed so it no longer cancels the draw/reveal/discard/etc that causes it to enter play from the top of a hero deck. For example, if you draw a card and Shinobi Assassin is on top of your deck, first the Assassin comes into play and then you get a card.
Fixed a problem where Weekly One-Shot covers could not be awarded properly when playing in multiplayer.
Fixed an issue in multiplayer where games could get stuck if the Team Leader disconnected.
2.3.1 Hotfix Update Fixes
Fixed a problem where the audio in the game could play without stereo effects.
Fixed a glitch where Heroic Infinitor could be incorrectly used in villain team mode.
Villain team member names now appear if you turn off character portraits.
A Prelude to Vengeance - Listening/Viewing Party Tuesday, with Christopher and Adam!
Vengeance is almost ready, and we couldn’t be happier to be putting the finishing touches on the first mega-expansion in Season 2 - Sentinels of the Multiverse: Vengeance.
As you know if you’ve been watching #SentinelsLive every week, or catching up on the episodes on our YouTube channel, we’ve been previewing Vengeance for the last month. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, it looks something like this:
We’ve shown you Baron Blade, Friction, Ermine, Proletariat and Fright Train in several different configurations, we’ve played heroes Parse, K.N.Y.F.E, The Naturalist, and The Sentinels, and we’ve braved the Freedom Tower and Mobile Defense Platform environments. But there’s one big piece of the experience that’s been missing up until now, and that is the music by our in-house maestro, Jean-Marc. As we’re nearing the release of Vengeance, it’s now time to remedy this!
As has become our tradition before a major release, we’re throwing our next listening/viewing party tonight - Tuesday, December 13th on #SentinelsLive. The show begins at 6 PM Eastern (one hour earlier than usual). Join us to be among the first outside the hallowed halls of Handelabra Games to hear the newest sounds of the Multiverse. And trust us when we say - this listening party will be unlike any we’ve had so far. If you can’t watch live, fear not! We always post the episodes to YouTube within a day or two so you won’t be missing out for long.
#CentenariesLive
Aside from the listening party, #SentinelsLive this week is special for another reason - believe it or not, tomorrow will be our 100th episode!
To celebrate, the stream kicks off at 6 PM with 2 special guests, the architects of the Multiverse themselves, Christopher Badell and Adam Rebottaro! Show up right at the top of the show with your Questions of the Multiverse and the creators themselves will be on hand to to answer them (or at least, respond to them in such a way that generates further mystery).
In addition to special guests and the Vengeance Listening/Viewing Party, we’ll also have some giveaways and maybe a surprise or two, in addition to that wonderful #SentinelsLive action you know and love, like Jeremy playing the wrong card while John exasperatedly asks “Why did you do that”?
Not Long Now...
So when can you play Vengeance? All we can tell you right now is… Soon™. But if you want the latest news as it comes, follow us on Twitter or Facebook, tune into #SentinelsLive tomorrow at 6 PM Eastern, or join our mailing list.
If you are already doing one or all of those things, you probably already know about our Holiday Stocking Stuffer Sale. We’re selling special printable Steam Keys that you can print, cut and fold to make a great gift to give that super-someone in your life this holiday season. This promotion is only for Steam as they are designed to be printed and given as gifts and Steam is the only store we work with that makes this sort of thing easy.
We can’t wait for you all to start saving the world from the Vengeful Five, and then it’s on to the next mega-expansion: Villains of the Multiverse.
Happy Holidays from Handelabra Games:

What's New in Version 2.2.3 - The Prime Wardens!
Here at Handelabra Games we are hard at work on the first mega-expansion of Season 2. Vengeance is still very much in progress, and we decided to make the wait a little bit easier between expansion packs. We’re happy to announce that version 2.2.3 of Sentinels of the Multiverse is launching today. This FREE update includes support for a new team of 5 Variant heroes: the Prime Wardens.
Anthony Drake is the latest to take up the mantle of “Virtuoso of the Void.” It is the job of the Virtuoso to stand against the Spirit of Chaos herself, Akash’bhuta. But it’s not an easy task. The Argent Adept could be so much more effective with a solid team at his back… but it’s not clear that he knows it yet.
As always with new Variants, it’s up to you to hunt them down! The first person to take a screenshot of their successful unlocking of a Variant, and share it to us via Twitter or Facebook earns a coveted spot in the Hall of Fame.
This time, only the Argent Adept will be available for unlocking immediately. Once someone unlocks him and claims the Hall of Fame spot, the other members of the team will become available for unlocking. Keep track at SentinelsDigital.com/primewardens to see which variants are available for unlocking, along with other info.
Remember - you must own a hero in order to use a Variant of that hero. For the Prime Wardens, that means Season Pass 1, or Infernal Relics (for the Argent Adept) and Wrath of the Cosmos (for Captain Cosmic). Fanatic, Haka, and Tempest are available in the core game. Story Challenges (a.k.a. unlock conditions) can sometimes require expansions as well. However, as with all other Variants, 30 days after they are released you can unlock them with just a button push in the New Game screen.
Keep an eye out for more Variant packs in the future - Greater Than Games have created quite a few for us to bring to the video game. As always, thanks for playing and we’ll see you out in the Multiverse!
What's New in Version 2.2.2 - Bug Fixes
Version 2.2.2 is now available with several important bug fixes and improvements:
Fixed problems relating to selecting digital foil artwork for variant heroes and Sky-Scraper.
Fixed a bug preventing the unlock of Freedom Six variant heroes.
Wager Master no longer causes a gameplay freeze when both Not All He Seems and A Burning Sense of Failure are in play.
Plus many more small bug fixes and improvements.
What's New in Version 2.2 - Digital Foil Hero Collector's Pack!
During the Season 2 Kickstarter campaign we announced that some special add-ons would be coming to the Sentinels video game: Digital Foil Collector’s Packs. We’re happy to announce that the hero pack is available now with the version 2.2 update to Sentinels!
When it’s all said and done, there will be more than 100 Heroes and Hero Variants in Sentinels of the Multiverse. Greater Than Games has created alternate versions of all of them with brand new shiny foil artwork!
This collector’s pack will allow you to use the new artwork with animated foil visual effects in your games. In multiplayer, everyone will get to see which card you chose to play with, even if they don’t own the collector’s pack.
As we add new content to the game, the pack will get the new cards added to it for no additional charge.
You can purchase the Collector’s Pack for $4.99 USD (local prices may vary). If you added a Steam key for the Digital Foil Hero Collector’s Pack to your pledge during the Season 2 campaign, read on!
Version 2.2 also includes several small bug fixes and improvements.
Backer Redemption Instructions
Head over to your BackerKit page to find it (under Digital Downloads) and redeem it for use in-game. The redemption instructions are the same as for Season Pass 2.
In Steam, click the Games menu and then click Activate a Product on Steam.
Enter the Steam key (product code) you received from BackerKit.
When you launch Sentinels you should have the new foil cards available to use. If you don’t see the new content, try quitting and restarting the game and Steam, or try logging out and back into Steam.
When new content is added in the future, Steam will automatically update the game for you.
2.2.1 Hotfix Note
Fixed a problem where partial incorrect information was displayed in the Multiverse section.
What's New in Version 2.1 - Season Pass 2
The Multiverse continues to expand with the launch of the Season 2 Preview! Purchase Season Pass 2 to save money and get access to 3 mega-expansions and 2 mini-packs as they become available. You will immediately get access to Setback (from Vengeance), Chokepoint (from Mini-Pack 4), and the Temple of Zhu Long (from Villains of the Multiverse).
A purchase of Season Pass 2 will get you all remaining official content for Sentinels of the Multiverse, as it becomes available. This will include:
Vengeance - Baron Blade is building a team of his own, hoping that strength in numbers could be what he needs to emerge victorious against the ever-growing collection of heroes.
Villains of the Multiverse - Following Baron Blade’s example, even more villains have put aside their petty differences to join forces against our heroes!
Mini-Pack 4 - 2 Heroes join the fight, another Villain emerges, and our heroes are put on trial!
Void Guard (Mini-Pack 5) - The team previously known as “The Southwest Sentinels” have harnessed the power of OblivAeon shards and become the Void Guard!
OblivAeon - This is it. The end of the Multiverse. Can the Sentinels of the Multiverse stop the entity that seeks to destroy all that we work to protect?
Vengeance is now in heavy development and is expected to launch later this year. But thanks to the more than 3000 backers who over-funded the Season 2 Kickstarter back in May, you don’t have to wait for Vengeance to start playing. A purchase of Season 2 right now gets you the Season 2 Preview Pack, a 3-deck Mini-Pack including:
Setback, the unluckiest hero who brings “a change from better to worse” from Vengeance
Chokepoint, the ferro-kineticist villain from Mini-Pack 4
The Temple of Zhu Long, a dark and mysterious environment from Villains of the Multiverse
And coming soon, we will have a new Variant to discover. Joining Expatriette, Mister Fixer, and NightMist on the Dark Watch team, meet Dark Watch Setback! As always with a new Variant, the first person to prove they’ve unlocked him will earn eternal glory in the Hall of Fame. To claim the prize, you must capture a screenshot of the moment you unlock the Variant and be the first to share it to us either via Twitter, or on our Facebook page. The Variant hunt will begin once Season Pass 2 is released for iOS.
Other Improvements in Version 2.1
Easily invite friends to your multiplayer games by using the new Invite button to send them a link. They can tap the link to launch Sentinels and join your game.
Two new options are available in the Display tab to simplify the in-game graphics and improve performance on older devices.
Fixed some issues relating to multiplayer connectivity and rejoining games.
Minor text fixes.
Season 2 Begins Friday September 16
It’s been just over 1 month since Sentinels of the Multiverse squeezed itself onto your smartphone. In that time, we’ve been hard at work and we’re are happy to announce that Season 2 officially begins next Friday, September 16th, 2016!
Season 2 encompasses all remaining content for Sentinels of the Multiverse, including Vengeance, Villains of the Multiverse, Mini-Pack 4, Void Guard, and OblivAeon. The first full expansion is Vengeance, which will be released later this year. But thanks to the more than 3000 backers who helped us fully fund Season 2 on Kickstarter and BackerKit, everyone will get to play some Season 2 content early with the Season 2 Preview Pack! Beginning next Friday, a purchase of Season Pass 2 will get you access to the the following three decks to give you a taste of what’s to come:
Setback, the unluckiest hero who brings “a change from better to worse” from Vengeance
Chokepoint, the ferro-kineticist villain from Mini-Pack 4
The Temple of Zhu Long, a dark and mysterious environment from Villains of the Multiverse
Beginning Friday around 12 pm Eastern (9 am Pacific), version 2.1 of Sentinels of the Multiverse will begin going live on Steam. Watch our Twitter and Facebook for live updates on availability. Once you update to the latest version, you will see Season Pass 2 in the store when you press “Get Expansion Packs.” For backers who are receiving a Steam Key or Google Play Promo Code, watch your email that day! We’ll also be posting a Kickstarter update with redemption instructions.
Season Pass 2 will retail for $24.99 USD.
Last Push for Stretch Goals on Mobile
If you're interested in playing Sentinels on mobile, Season Pass 2 will be discounted by $5 USD for the first 48 hours on iTunes, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore. All sales of Season Pass 2 on mobile during the 48 hour Mobile Backer discount period will count toward the campaign stretch goals. We’re currently at $112,050 and the next two goals are well within reach! We will post updates about the stretch goals as we make progress, potentially including new stretch goals. The mobile stores typically don’t report official sales numbers until the following day, but we will be keeping track as best we can.
Pre-Sales Ending
One final note - Season 2 Pre-Sales via BackerKit will remain open until 2 pm Eastern, Thursday September 15th. At that time, we will be performing the final lock-down and charging any remaining orders so that we can prepare everything for sending out on Friday.
Thanks go out to everyone who helped make Season 2 a reality! We know you’re gonna love the new Hero, Villain and Environment in the Season 2 Preview Pack. Stay tuned in the coming months to our Twitter, Facebook, and mailing list for info on the next major expansion release: Sentinels of the Multiverse: Vengeance.

Sentinels of the Multiverse is now available on iPhone and Android phones. Online multiplayer remains fully cross-platform compatible! There’s no Steam phone, but perhaps one day...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc7d13dNJR0
To make it easier to join the fun on the go, all mobile versions of the app and expansions are on sale, now through August 11th! The following pricing is in effect for the next week on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon Appstore:
Sentinels of the Multiverse: The Video Game - $2.99 (regular price $9.99)

Rook City, Infernal Relics, Shattered Timelines, Wrath of the Cosmos - $3.99 (regular price $4.99)
Mini-Packs 1, 2, and 3 - 99¢ (regular price $1.99)
Version 2.0 also brings the following fixes and improvements:
Fixed a problem where playing Twist the Ether next to Wager Master could cause the game to get stuck.
Pervasive Red Dust no longer causes the game to get stuck in certain situations.
Fixed a few more bugs here and there.
What's New in Version 1.9.1 - Bug Fixes!
Bugs. Glitches. General wackiness. That seems to be most of what those Handelabra characters put into the last update, besides me of course. I’m Guise, and I’m even better than before! They tell me that the worst problems have been fixed… we’ll see about that!
My lovable mug now shows up on my Weekly One-Shot, and at the end of the game. Brick walls are boring!
The Argent Adept and Mister Fixer no longer get to play with their presents before they are opened. Tsk tsk!
Fixed Point no longer allows multiple Limited cards to be in play after being flipped face up. Everyone likes presents, but come on!
If there’s nobody else around to high five, the game won’t get stuck anymore. However, you may experience a momentary feeling of loss.
Powers on equipment borrowed by Lemme See That can now be used out of turn properly. That was annoying!
Overcharging the Overcharged Systems would cause a terrible code explosion and make bad things happen. Not anymore, I think!
It was fun to watch Kismet’s Talisman get blown up over and over and over and over and over and over by the Volcanic Eruption… NOT.
Trust me there were more weird things, too many to write about here. All fixed! Yep!
