Seraph V1.04


<*>Boosted speed of difficulty gain in Pressure from 0.01 diff per 0.3 seconds to 0.01 every 0.2 seconds. This will shorten this game mode a little bit.
<*>Increased number of enemies in Treasure hunter game mode by 50%. Gotta be quick and dodge those enemies.
<*>Increased spawn rate of enemies Head Hunter (6 seconds now reduced to 5 seconds) and also boosted number of enemies to start in each level.
<*>Fixed a visual bug where the Displaced Teleport warning was stuck on loop.

Some difficulty and visibility tweaks in today's patch.

<*>Reduced minimum difficulty increase per level in Residence Sector to +0.2 rather than +0.25, and difficulty increase in Halls of Pilgrimage to +0.1 rather than +0.25. Overall, the minimum difficulty you will be at to fight "the final boss" is now 5.5, down from 6.5. Due to the way the difficulty curve is presented, this is a fairly significant drop in power.
<*>Added new "!" graphics to the Displaced's teleport attack and the Thaumaturge's Fire Pillar attack. These should help players spot and thus avoid these attacks.
<*>Doubled the health bonuses on level Oath from 1/2/3/4/5HP to 2/4/6/8/10HP on level up.
<*>Corrected the spelling/grammar of several German translations, such as "reduction TO 80%" on Chilling Rounds, Sapphire and Topaz item descriptions no longer mentioning "Ruby".

A great fix for our 'lost story progression' issue is on the menu for today's patch! Also, a potential crash fix when the player would spam actions (we've not been able to reproduce the crash internally, so, fixed?!).

<*>Fixed a nasty bug whereby some players were losing their progress on the main campaign by playing a Daily Challenge before dying again.
<*>Fixed a typo in one of the Twitch mode vote results.
<*>Fixed a bug in the animation system that sometimes resulted in a fairly random crash.

<*>Widened the space for the rank number on the daily and weekly leaderboards (you can tell we never tested triple digits or higher!)
<*>Fixed a bug where it was occasionally possible that only the Serf daemon would spawn in a daily challenge (making it really dull).

Seraph updated: THE BIG 1.0 (Patch notes)

Here we are, everyone. The game finally launches officially on PC tomorrow, but I wanted to get this patch out to you guys ahead of time in-case we catch some final little issues.

Thank you all for sticking with us and making Early Access the fun, rewarding and productive experience it really should be. You put your faith in us enough to buy an unfinished game and by doing so have given us what we needed in order to make Seraph the 90%+ recommended game we have today.

<*>Doubled the chance of Story Log terminals appearing in levels.
<*>Reduced the maximum size of levels in Treasure hunter daily challenges by 33%
<*>Increased duration of Double damage, double XP and armour orbs by 100% to 2 minutes.
<*>We now trigger a short period of invincibility when the Ethereal Barrier (shield Blessing) goes down, preventing you from taking damage from AoE attacks that stick around, such as the Frost Ring or Fire Pillar.
<*>Fixed a bug where icons would appear as when playing with a keyboard.
<*>Fixed a bug where new players may not have been directed to the Oaths screen for the first time.
<*>Should have finally fixed an issue where the player is given the message "game save corrupted" the very first time they play the game.
<*>Fixed a bug where Epic and Supreme shards were seen as "Crafting component A" when viewed in the Transmutation menu.
<*>Reset some sounds to prevent them from looping when using Retry option to quickly repeat a daily challenge.
<*>Now completely reset the enemies for daily challenges. You cheesers! :D
<*> Added "v1.0" graphic to the first menu of the game. Players will be able to see new patch info next to this graphic for all future patches.

Seraph leaves Early Access on 20th September!

You read that right everyone!

Seraph will leave Early Access and officially launch on 20/9 (or 9/20, if you're American!).

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for playing Seraph and providing us with vital, game changing feedback and suggestions.

A great many of your thoughts and ideas have been incorporated into the game since we entered Early Access so it's been a vital and exciting time for us all.

I hope the launch brings in many new players (so that you may crush them on the leaderboards... for a few days, at least!).

<*>Fixed some level text whereby the same text was used for the start of the level as the end.
