<*>When fighting the Sacristan (healer daemon), player's multiplier is no longer damaged when the enemy's Leech missile is destroyed on death. Weird one...
<*>Fixed a bug where the player could be hurt AFTER dying, and thus respawn with less health.
<*>The final boss now has a checkpoint orb in the room with it. This should now mean that dying when facing it should not result in moving back 2-3 or even ALL levels. Phew!
<*>Prevent players from spamming ACCEPT button on front end, potentially loading the level multiple times.
<*>Added a fixed lifetime to the Herald's nova attack (so orbs won't stick around in the air if you use Repel to push them away slowly).

Bug fixed and balance tweaks ahoy today! Big change to the Herald fight - those doors are finally gone for good!

<*>Fixed a bug where the displaced would not play her teleport animations.
<*>Cleaned up the player health-bar UI and ensured all elements remained onscreen on 16:10 monitors and TVs.
<*>Optimised bullet impact VFX (should make game smoother for all machines in frantic fights).
<*>Reduced critical strike chance on Holy damage from 5/10/15/20/25% to 3/6/9/12/15%, in line with the regular bullet critical strike chance Oath.
<*>Removed reflect bullets ability from Herald (felt like it just introduced down time in a boss fight). Replaced with Orb Nova on 2nd phase instead.
<*>Fixed a bug whereby you could spam the A/CROSS button after you'd died on a level and break your game progression save.
<*>Moved enemy attack warning VFX to the centre of the enemy rather than above head (as it would often be occluded inside the roof if an enemy was close to the ceiling. Added some energetic jiggle animation to the icon too.
<*>Removed doors from Herald encounter as people would always find a way to get stuck inside/outside the boss room - THOSE DOORS. :/
<*>Enemies no longer 'moonwalk' after they've killed you.
<*>Fixed some issues in the tutorial that could break progression.
<*>Fixed a bug where the audio on Comet would not play the first time you used it in a level.
<*>Fixed a bug whereby if a level loaded TOO FAST it may not ever load!

<*>Altered Blessed Ammunition blessing. Upped damage from 20/25/30/35/45 to 20/35/50/65/80, increased radius of effect from 1.5m to 2m but lowered chance of it occurring from 10/12/14/16/20% to 10% at all ranks.
<*>Possible fix for levels infinitely loading. We're not 100% sure on this one so keep your eyes peeled for this annoying bug!

Bug fixes and balance tweaks ahoy!

However, we're still on the look-out for a nasty bug which prevents levels from loading in Normal or Survival mode (if a level hasn't loaded within 30-45 seconds, you have this bug).

If you get this bug, PLEASE email us your game save file and the Output.log file BEFORE restarting the game (the output log is wiped each time the game is started). We can then isolate which file is not being loaded properly and fix it immediately.

Please send us your 'output_log' file. You'll find it inside:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Seraph\Seraph_Data

<*>Fixed a bug where the Herald would not move, fight or die.
<*>Fixed a bug where the game would infinitely load on the final boss' level.
<*>Reduced Void numbers that spawn in levels by 40%. This means in a level they're selected for, 40% less of them should spawn (hopefully less groups of 3-4 Elite Voids now!).
<*>Enemies spawn earlier on in ambush rooms (no more 10-15 seconds where nothing happens at the start!).
<*>Reduced amount healed by Critical Healing from 50% to 30%.
<*>Increased penetration damage boost of Piercing Light from 50/60/70/80/100% to 100/110/120/130/150%
<*>Increased the rate at which Zeal charges from movement by 50%.

Hey all, more bug fixes and performance tweaks.

Seraph V0.36


<*>Maestro now have a fixed aiming time (1.5 seconds) with shots fired from Song of precision (the snipe attack).
<*>Fixed an issue where the Headhunter daily challenge spawned around triple as many Elites as it's supposed to.
<*>Reduced the amount of health the void heals after regenerating to 25% rather than 50%.
<*>Doubled the warning period for the Thaumaturge's flame shield balls to 1 second.
<*>Improved performance on lower spec machines.
<*>Cleaned up lots of visual FX to make it clearer to see what's going on.
<*>Limited number of enemies that can spawn at one time in a sector lockdown to 6. Any more and the framerate drops. 6 is highly dangerous at one time anyway, no need for 10-12 as before. It was just insanity.
<*>We now pause the game if you bring up the Steam UI overlay.
<*>Fixed a bug whereby some saved games would not load again.
<*>Fixed a bug where the Sacristan (healer) would heal itself whilst regenerating (when you're ready to smite them)!

<*>Added more ammo boxes to Residential and Church themes.
<*>Enemies now have a small delay before acting after spawning (to prevent cheesy, almost unavoidable damage).
<*>The Void can no longer be spawned by Lt. Daemons with the Beacon power.
<*>The Blessing that increases XP (and therefore score) collected by 10% has been removed from Survival mode.
<*>Fixed a bug whereby killing the final boss in Standard, Twitch or Speedrun mode would not award the achievements (he doesn't actually die!).
<*>Increase time between attacks on both bosses, especially at higher difficulty levels.
<*>Players can now set a Speedrun seed themselves. Seeds are now only 5 characters long.

Hey everyone. Today we have a small patch fix some more bugs and tidy up the VFX in the game.

<*>Reduced the health of Tainted (green) elite enemies. They were strong enough being immune to miracles and blessings.
<*>Boosted the health of Dark elite enemies by a small amount, but boosted their weakness to Holy damage from 200% to 250%.
<*>Tweaked most particle effects for brightness and animation.
<*>Reduced brightness of all light sprites (glows) in Prison, Admin and Cathedral themes (they were just TOO glowy!)

<*>Reduced maximum ammo capacity on all weapons by 33% to discourage hoarding. Use the cool guns, people!
<*>Boosted damage bonus for piercing light from 25/30/35/40/50 to 50/60/70/80/100.

<*>Fixed the Dominator achievement finally. Sorry about that.
<*>Survival mode now correctly keeps all of your weapons, wards and blessings between levels.
<*>You can now correctly view and scroll through transmutation components.

<*>Boosted the difficulty increase of one of the Twitch mode votes in twitch mode from 0.5 increase to 0.75 increase instead.

<*>Boosted all late game (7.0+ difficulty) damage significantly to account for Rebirth bonuses.
<*>Changed the way score is awarded in Survival mode. You now gain between x1 and x5 multiplier to your XP score based on how many Difficulty Pips are lit. This is in addition to the overall difficulty multiplier (no more taking damage on purpose to prevent difficulty from climbing!).
<*>We now give players a checkpoint orb on the elevator following the Herald fight.
<*>Game save should never be cleared when dying on the final boss.
<*>Prevent the Maestro daemon from becoming HUGE in some levels, filling the screen.
<*>Added the new orb types as voting options to Twitch mode. This is what broke twitch mode before (when they were selected for a vote, yet had not been properly added).
<*>You can now 'Blink' away from walls or ledges seraph is holding on to.
<*>Over 100 other bug fixes and performance improvements.
