Patch #4 is now live for Serum, this latest patch addressed a number of fixes and improvements including accelerated rotation to improve faster player response on controller, a fix for reappearing notes, recipes and blueprints, optimised non-streaming textures for improved performance. UI fixes, Wildness improvements and the implementation of Pause were also among other improvements added.

We’ve introduced some new fixes today to address some issues recently highlighted to us. One of these is the Nakata Boss fight, and we’ve listed the full details of what we’ve addressed below.
In addition to the Nakata boss fix, we’ve addressed a number of other issues and fixes highlighted by the community. These include adding gather all and remove all buttons in the farming screen, and more.

We are happy to announce that the latest patch for Serum is now live. Patch #1 addresses several issues, including hotkey for healing items, combat mechanics, game UI, storage stacks, game balancing and more.
Our Early Access journey has only just begun; we are listening, so please do keep your feedback coming in.

Combat Improvements:
Players can now interrupt attack animations to perform a block with all weapons (visual animation may appear disrupted during this action).
Stamina Adjustments:
Reduced stamina consumption during sprinting.
Quality of Life Updates:
Added a "Store All" button to storage for transferring entire stacks of items.
Weapons can now be rotated in the wheel menu for easier selection.
Reduced the time required to complete gate puzzles.
Added a hotkey for quickly using healing items (middle mouse button).

Today, we wanted to share the content and features still to come for Serum since we know that timely updates, fixes, and implementing community feedback are important to you, the player.
By far, the biggest decision has been to give co-op more time in development and integrate this later than planned within the early access window. While this may be disappointing to many of you, we feel it’s very important we can deliver updates and game content that live up to players' expectations because sacrificing the quality of the game is something we very much want to avoid.
The Serum roadmap below highlights the continued work going into Serum in the weeks and months ahead, leading up to the Version 1.0 release.
Quality of Life Fixes
First and foremost, our focus is to implement a range of quality-of-life improvements for players as one of our first tasks on Serum. This includes bug fixes and additional languages and translations, and we’ll continually look at player feedback to implement these so that the player experience in Serum is optimised.
As our early access journey gets underway next on our list will be achievements as we know that rewarding player interactions and milestones is important. We’ll also be looking to implement a UI revamp to ensure that it’s consistently intuitive for players as they brew, craft and upgrade in the game.
Further down the road, the roadmap also plans on introducing new combat options with combat traps allowing players to expand their arsenal of weapons with passive capability to trap adversaries in the game world.
New Biome
Canyon will be the third biome for players to explore in addition to ground zero (the node), the forest area and the swamp maps that are currently available. Canyon will introduce some new challenging adversaries and a new level boss creature to defeat as part of the game's narrative. This is a dry, arid location that will challenge the player with additional side quests to seek out survivors and reveal much more about the mutagen storyline.
Co-op mode
Co-op mode for up to 4 players gives survivors an opportunity to tackle Serum’s infected denizens as a team with friends. Player resources will be shared, and by working together, players can create their own strategies to maximize their effectiveness in the Serum world.
Of course, early access will see our ongoing work to balance the game, add new features, tweak existing ones, and optimize the overall game. Community feedback is still important, so do talk to us via Discord. We are listening.
