Deals massive area damage to everyone caught in the blast. Chakram is a 3-round revolver you may have already tried as an Invader in the Invasion Mode.
We added a tutorial explaining Expedition's intricacies to new players.
The player now starts an expedition with a melee weapon, not a sidearm as before.
A new encounter: Corrupted Research Station. Crystalline has captured the Research Station and is using its cooling systems to grow.
Now decontamination not only decreases the contamination level but decreases fog thickness as well.
Expedition activities rewards were rebalanced in favor of contracts.
The Deathlab dungeon got a new head bomb model and various gameplay tweaks.
A restricted amount of power weapons ammo can be obtained from Supply Drops.

We improved the Text Chat design. The chat window now also features channel tabs.

Update R76: PvE Perks & Ranked PvP
Greetings, Shatterliners!
Are you ready for the biggest update since the Early Access launch? Here's Update R76.
PVE PERKS
In this update, we introduce a big change: operatives perks progression ladder in PvE. Each operative now has a unique progression of five PvE perks that will make your forays into higher-threat Expedition sectors a lot easier and more comfortable, and will ultimately enable you to reach further and further into the Zone and study its secrets. All perks work in PvE Episodes as well.
To climb the progression ladder, you will need to spend some resources that you extract from expeditions. There are five such new resources: Shards, Spores, Capacitors, Energy Cores, and Red Matter, and various progression perks will require you to spend a different combination and amounts of these resources.
EXPEDITION
We are sure you would like to see more unique melee weapons in PvE. We start with Brisa, who now wields a beautiful and deadly Crystalline Katana, and Ram, with a mighty axe. Additionally, as a perk from the Operatives Expedition Progression, Strix may be equipped with a shield and hammer. From this release on, the unique melee weapons can also be used in PvE episodes.
We added a new encounter, the Gravity Tower, along with two new activities, two new dungeons, and new contracts.
Other Expedition changes:
The Contract and Main Goal rewards are now guaranteed and don't require a successful extraction.
Now you can use refill points to detect the nearest dungeon in your vicinity if you acquire dungeon intel.
Players can now locate and extract five unique resources needed to unlock Expedition progression levels.
The Expedition win/lose screen also features your rewards and completed objectives.
The amount of rewards for completing quests now depends on the threat level. The higher the threat, the bigger the reward.
Several Expedition weapon keys were rebound:
The dedicated melee weapon is now called by the "3" key (used to be bound to the long-pressed "v" key). Use the "Y" button on the game controller.
The power weapon is bound to the "4" key (used to be "3"). Press the D-pad down on the game controller.
BALANCE CHANGES
Operatives balance tweaks
Malva. The cool-down time of her ultimate ability, the Healing Station, increased.
Pill. The Crystalline Flamethrower's plasma now flies in a straight line.
Brisa. Melee attacks do not decloak you anymore while the Tactical Cloak ability's cool-down time increased. The Glass Mine can now be thrown, similar to Kite's Remote Mine, and not just planted at your feet.
Kite. The Remote Mine's cool-down time increased.
Ram and Strix. There is no cool-down timer anymore to use the exoskeleton speed boost ability. The ability works as stamina now, so you can use it unless the stamina is fully depleted. The HUD icon for this ability was overhauled.
Weapon balance tweaks
Dragonfly sniper rifle: damage in PvE increased by almost 75%.
Λ-3 Pilum assault rifle: accuracy decreased by 15% and aiming speed decreased two-fold.
Zenith assault rifle: the rate of fire decreased by 5% and stability decreased by 10%.
Tornado submachine gun: the effective distance increased by 15%, accuracy decreased by 15%, and the rate of fire increased slightly.
U22 Svarog revolver: the base damage in PvE at long range decreased by 15% while the PvE base damage at close range increased by 5%.
U44 Culverina revolver: the base damage in PvE at long range decreased by 25%.
Weapon attachments tweaks
HOLDEX magazine for the Berlington TAC shotgun increases the reload speed by 20% (used to be 30%).
Selenium ammo for the XM-27 Pacifier assault rifle: the extra damage to Crystalline creatures tripled.
Selenium ammo for the G9 Kungen and G7 Springer pistols, M2 Tactical SAS shotgun, Tornado submachine gun, and Λ-7 Ghost assault rifle: the extra damage to Crystalline creatures doubled.
Tungsten carbide bullets for the G9 Kungen pistol and Tungsten carbide pellets for the R21 Brute shotgun: extra damage to Strafers doubled.
Combined receiver for the G7 Springer pistol: after a precision kill, footstep sound volume is reduced by 80% for 15 seconds (used to be 10 seconds).
Momentum booster for the Λ-9 Legatus assault rifle: refills 20 rounds in magazine upon a slide kill (used to be 10 rounds).
Exploding mag (empty magazines explode upon reload) for the R60 Gevaudan shotgun: explosion radius and damage were significantly increased.
RANKED MATCHES
The long-awaited and frequently-asked-for Ranked Matches have finally arrived!
Please note that this is just the first iteration of Ranked Matches, therefore some things are basic, and others are missing for the moment as we want to test everything with you as soon as possible before moving forward. For instance, there is no leaderboard nor rank progression visualization on the match result screen.
Ranked Matches are season based, and the duration of the first testing season is one month.
Ranked Matches are played in Escort Mode featuring three maps: Escort, March, and Barracuda. The team size is 5v5.
There are five leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, each one consisting of four levels - from Level IV (the lowest) to Level I.
The player starts with 300 ranked points and needs 1,000 points to progress to another level. The current rank points scheme is simple: 200 points for winning, minus 90 points for losing, and 50 points for ending a match with a draw. This scheme is a testing ground for the ranked matches and will be improved in the future.
When you reach the Silver, Gold, or Platinum League, you won't roll back to the previous one. When you reach the Diamond League, you can roll back to the Platinum one, but you will still have 3 lost-games protection.
After progressing to each new league and after reaching Level I of the Diamond League, you will receive a special badge as a reward. The match rewards are increased by 20% for ranked matches in comparison with Versus matches.
MISCELLANEOUS
When a player joins or leaves a game session, this information is displayed in the game chat.
Two new seasonal tasks that will reward you with a unique nameplate and badge.
Ram's Shellguard Visor cosmetic item had one small inherent issue. While being technically a headgear item, it combined a helmet and goggles, thus blocking the use of the face accessory slot. We resolved this by splitting the item into a separate helmet and goggles, so you may now use them in combination with each other or with other headgear or face accessory items.
We added audio for weapon inspection of XM-40 Conciliator, Λ-3 Pilum, Λ-9 Legatus, Firespray, Λ-1 Centurion, U44 Culverina, and G7 Springer.
Twitch drops support was added.
The Operatives Cosmetics Screen design was overhauled to be in line with the overall user interface design. When customizing your operative, you will see a separate screen where all the items are grouped into two categories: "All" and "Owned".
New instant awards:
Air Defense, for killing opponents who were mid-air (in a jump, for instance).
Bombs Go Boom, for killing 10 Seeker Mines or Glass Hounds (aka Bomb Dogs) in PvE.
Eagle Eye, for 3 headshot kills of snipers in PvE.
Three instant awards for hip-fire kills: Hip Killer, for killing 5 opponents in PvE or 2 in PvP with hip fire, No Scope (15 opponents in PvE or 5 in PvP), and Hip Shooter (30 in PvE or 7 in PvP).

Fixed issue in Expedition where a player could climb onto a void space that the destructed turret used to take. We also fixed an issue with several invisible objects on the Expedition map.
Fixed issue in Expedition where the Glasshead Nursery encounter could be completed without defeating the boss.
Fixed issue on the March PvP map where a player could peak into an overpassing tube and kill an opponent who was there. We also fixed another issue on this map where Kite could get into a non-playable location by using the wall ability.
Fixed issue with the "Smoke and Mirrors" task where the task description differed in the task description in the menu and the task itself.
Fixed issue where the "Watch Them Burn" task didn't count the Lava Galassheads kills.

Minor localization fixes.
Community Update #2
Next week – Release 76. As promised before, the next huge Expedition update is almost here. What wasn’t exactly promised but was hinted at is the introduction of the Ranked PvP to Shatterline. We surprised ourselves a bit with how awesome our team is, as everyone came together and gave their extra time and energy to deliver competitive mode in this update.
Ranked PvP, guys! The time to test your skill has come. Truly test, you know. Finally! No mercy! Let the bloodbath... Well, you get the point. Thanks to our competitive community and their restless leaders, regularly organizing Shatterline tournaments, we were able to gather much-needed data and feedback on how ranked games should feel and play. It helped us a lot in development, we are very grateful to all of you competitive enthusiasts out there!
We are rolling out our test run of Ranked games, to properly assess the feature and collect your feedback. It will last for one month, but the acquired badges will be permanent, as well as the 20% match rewards boost in Ranked compared to the regular Versus matches. So get out there and wreak some havoc. The competitive arena's size is 5 versus 5. We’ll be playing Escort, with the 3 maps available: Escort, March, and Barracuda. Five leagues: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond, each one consisting of four levels. And we give out shiny badges for your efforts in climbing the ladder.
Our PvP scientists are racking their brains, doing the math behind the Ranked matches. We start simple. The current rank points scheme is 200 points for winning, minus 90 points for losing, and 50 points for ending a match with a draw. This is a testing ground for the ranked matches and will be adjusted in the future. A player starts with 300 ranked points and needs 1,000 points to progress to the following level.
Expedition keeps getting new content and features. In this upcoming release, we are introducing hero progression as a part of the PvE experience, available in both Expedition and story missions, Episodes. All Shatterline operatives are getting PvE progression paths, acquiring new perks and abilities throughout their journey. The more you play one hero, the more new resources you haul from Expedition – the more diverse their gameplay becomes.
Each operative receives 5 branches of progression. Let’s have a look at what our favorite girl with magic hands, Malva, will look like.
Malvas around the world will be giving more focus on healing their teammates, as it’s becoming more beneficial to both parties with a part of the healing applied to allies now also coming back to Malva herself. Healing applied also benefits our loyal Pinscher Drone, which stands on guard with a progression path of its own and becomes stronger further down the path. Don’t forget to take care of the Drone too, as Malva can now support her companion, healing it and making sure it grows healthy and deadly.
We are experimenting with more fun stuff to add to the game, and here’s just a tiny sneak peek into one little thing currently tested behind the scenes.
Twitch Drops are coming with this update! Look out for the Shatterline streams on Twitch with enabled drops, as we’ve finished the preparations and are ready to roll out rewards for your support of Shatterline creators. Just last month we implemented a Support-a-Creator system into the game store. We’ve done this in collaboration with our partner Nexus.gg. Support your favorite ones!
And while we are all here – here is an XP boost for you.

Update R75: Season Delta
Hi there!
Season Delta is finally here along with interesting changes and improvements in Update R75.
SEASON DELTA
Please welcome a new game season: Season Delta. As always, complete new tasks and get your cool rewards.
CRAFTING STATION
Weapon modifications that you crafted during the previous seasons have been split into two separate entities: the weapon perks and the weapon skins, while the weapon modification as a combination of a weapon perk and unique visuals is a thing of the past. That means that now you can apply the perk to the base weapon with or without any skin. It also means that from now on the crafting station will provide a random weapon perk, not a weapon modification. In Season Delta, in addition to all the previous season's perks, the crafting station furnishes 7 new perks bundled with either epic or legendary weapon skins.
Range Boost perk for the XM-27 Pacifier bundled with the Pacifier Shatterline weapon skin: a 10%-increase in damage beyond the effective range.
Sprint-to-Fire Boost perk for the Lupara Compatta bundled with the Lupara Renaissance weapon skin: the sprint-to-fire delay is reduced by 15%.
Precision Damage Boost perk for the Berlington TAC bundled with the TAC Antique weapon skin: precision damage is increased by 10%.
Magazine Boost perk for the Tornado bundled with the Tornado Mural weapon skin: 5 additional ammo in the magazine.
Speed Boost perk for the Z-940 Drachen bundled with the Drachen Renaissance weapon skin: 15% faster sprint-to-fire transition and 5% faster aiming down sights speed.
ADS Boost perk for the Presarm VX-7 bundled with the VX-7 Bloodstream weapon skin: the movement speed while aiming is increased by 10%.
ADS Boost perk for the SAG-8 Reaper bundled with the Reaper Renaissance weapon skin: the movement speed while aiming is increased by 15%.
EXPEDITION
Upon successful extraction, your weapons, abilities, and a random perk of the highest rarity will be stashed for use on your next Expedition. This extracted gear is available in a special extraction stash deployed near the LZ at the session start. The items in the stash are replaced with newly extracted ones next time.
Bi-directional zip lines were added across the map.
The spawn rate of the Lightning Anomaly decreased considerably.
The movement speed with the Tactical Kukri increased.
Many a player stumbled upon the issue that two or three players couldn't use the supply drop simultaneously: if several players pressed "E" at the same moment, only one could successfully open the box. We improved this logic, and now all players can open the box at the same time. Overall, the vast majority of issues with non-working supply bins were fixed.
Improved matchmaking for Expedition. On the Expedition Mode info screen, you can tell the matchmaking system that you want to play with players interested in the same aspects of the game as you, choosing among specific threat levels and dungeons as search criteria. The matchmaking system will try to match you with like-minded players. The Expedition Mode info screen also features an updated rewards list.
At threat level 3 or more, you may encounter a modified Glasshead enemy.
Improved visuals, animation, video, and sound effects for various activities.
We fixed a critical issue in Expedition which caused many boss encounters never to spawn. Therefore, the variability of boss encounters will increase substantially after the fix.
The activities rewards were rebalanced in accordance with the time spent to complete the activity. While the Red Salt amount decreased, so did the cost of calling a supply drop and the decontaminator use. The Red Salt rewards from secret stashes also decreased, but the salt/seasonal xp conversion ratio increased five-fold.
GAMEPLAY
Pill's drone's resurrection algorithm was improved. Before, the drone always resuscitated the closest fallen friendly. Now it checks for enemies and whether they have an open line of sight to the friendly in need of revival and then resuscitates the friendly whom it calculated the safest for revival.
Malva's Pinscher Drone will teleport to its owner if the distance between them exceeds 70 meters or if it cannot get to its owner, excluding the situation when Malva is on a zip-line.
MISCELLANEOUS
Social panel improvements:
The "Leave Squad" button was added to the squad submenu.
Pop-up messages for the squad leader and squad members after when they want to exit the game session, offering the leader to leave the game with the squad, alone, or cancel, and offering a squad member to either leave the squad or cancel.
A new notification bubble on the social button (the one under your name badge to the right) that indicates a new friend or squad invitation.
A search field under your friends submenu.
Squad list sorting was introduced. Now you will see your squad leader on top, then yourself, and then all other squad members.
Squad Requests and Friend Requests categories were added.
Ten new instant awards:
