Shibainu VR Katana Simulator Development Update



Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you all an update on the development of Shibainu. I know many of you have been waiting for more updates, and I apologize for the delays.

I am happy to report that the work is well underway and making great progress. One of the main goals for the next update is the port to Unreal Engine 5. However, the process is taking longer than I initially anticipated.

But I assure you, the wait will be worth it! The new Unreal Engine 5 will bring some exciting new features to the game. Some of the highlights include advanced procedural cuts, optimization in several systems, a wider variety of targets to challenge your skills, and new game modes to keep things fresh and interesting.

Hello there everyone!

The early access release of Shibainu VR Katana Simulator has moved from June 27th to July 11th.

This was primarily due to an overlapping schedule with the steam summer sale; which would have negatively impacted the game's visibility (game releases doesn’t get promoted during this period).

We will use these two weeks to polish the build and QA; while trying to add some features that should help with performance. And in the meantime, we are releasing an updated version of the FREE demo, which will be available from June 28th until July 3rd.
