Guilds Galore Update

[p]This update releases next week![/p][p][/p]

Major Changes

Event Difficulty Selection

[p]Are events too easy? Or perhaps impossible for your tiny guild? Read below.[/p][p]With this update, we offer a new power to Guild officers; Event Difficulty Selection. For each of our Guild Events (Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice and Dragon Invasion), a difficulty level can be chosen.[/p][p]For players comfortable with event difficulty until now, Hard offers similar rewards and challenges. Easy and Medium are more appropriate for smaller guilds of newer players, offering lesser rewards in exchange for a more reasonable challenge.[/p][p]Extreme is suited for established guilds of advanced players, wishing to face steeper requirements in exchange for greater rewards. In addition, it features a few extra bonus rewards beyond the Grand Prize, for guilds who want to go the extra mile.[/p][p]New Event Difficulties are unlocked through the Town Hall building level. Once a new difficulty is unlocked, it can be assigned to one or more events individually by officers. Keep in mind however that an event’s difficulty cannot be changed while the event is running.[/p][p]As part of this update, your guild’s event difficulties will be automatically set to the highest difficulty allowed by your Town Hall. It will however not automatically be set to Extreme, to prevent presenting an insurmountable challenge to unwary guilds. If you’d like to tackle the Extreme difficulty, it can be manually assigned by any guild officer.[/p][p]To see the score requirements for the grand prize of each event and difficulty, read further down below.[/p]

Minor Changes

  • [p]A “Personal Best” indication has been added to Lost City of Gold, King’s Caprice and Dragon Invasion events. This way, players can easily see how well they performed in the past and strive to surpass themselves![/p]
  • [p]Receiving duplicates of Collection Cards now also gives you Card Shards.[/p]
  • [p]Added a new fusion recipe to make Common Collection Card Packs, using Card Shards.[/p]
    • [p]This Fusion is available for everyone![/p]
  • [p]Updated decorations across the board to be able to attract visitors more easily.[/p]
  • [p]Added new worker statues to Grab Bags.[/p]
  • [p]Artifact blueprints are no longer a possible item requested by Champions.[/p]
  • [p]The Platinum Shop Frame is now available in Platinum Chests.[/p]

Balance Changes

  • [p]Increased the odds of receiving a Chase Card in all the Collection Card Pack.[/p]
  • [p]Chase Cards now give a bonus as soon as you receive one.[/p]
    • [p]Those bonuses have been slightly increased overall as well.[/p]
  • [p]Collection Card Packs can now drop from the Piggy Bank and be purchased from the Fortune Zone Store.[/p]
  • [p]A new 12th quest difficulty has been added to the Lost City of Gold.[/p]
  • [p]Alongside that new quest, all LCOG difficulties have been tuned: quests now last 90 minutes but yield roughly 50% more Pure Gold.[/p]
  • [p]Break chances for the LCOG quests have been slightly reduced.[/p]
  • [p]Increased the maximum item tier that can drop in the Fortune Zone Store from 11 to 14.[/p]
  • [p]Changed the Defense stat to HP for the Titan Scepter Blueprint.[/p]

King Schedule

[p]The King will return as a Guest Champion starting on July 21st until the 24th.[/p]

Notable Bug Fixes

  • [p]A long press will now showcase the Blueprint Details in a reward track.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Furniture Skins were not purchasable from the King's Caprice Antique Store.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the odds of rolling an Ancient Jungle quest component in the Fortune Zone Store and Grab Bags was higher than intended.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where obtaining a new Collection Card could trigger an unlock notification for some wallpapers and floorings.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Login Calendar HUD icon would show up in the City screen.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where the Gem Fountain would no longer appear for sale on the webstore if it expired at any point.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some blueprint types displaying an Airship Power stat when they cannot be donated in Dragon Invasion.[/p]

About the Collection Cards

[p]First of all, thank you for joining us for the high-octane release that was our 6th anniversary! Every year, we are thankful for all of you being here for the ride.[/p][p]We’ve been listening to your feedback. The Collection Cards feature was always meant as a simple new layer of collection, showcasing art of the characters you know and love. However, it was clear on release that we had dialed the slow-grinding aspect of the feature too far. We have the following actions planned for the immediate and near future to address the most common feedback.[/p]

For 20.1 (releasing in early July)

  • [p]Duplicates of cards you receive now also give Card Shards, in addition to card XP.[/p]
  • [p]Introducing a Fusion Recipe to craft a Common Collection Card Packs, using Card Shards as the primary ingredient.[/p]
  • [p]Collection Card Packs can now drop from the Piggy Bank and be purchased from the Fortune Zone Store.[/p]
  • [p]Add an initial reward step for the Chase Cards.[/p]
  • [p]Increase the drop rates of Chase Cards.[/p]
[p]If you’ve already received duplicates of cards, the Card Shards will be retroactively added to your inventory when the 20.1 update drops. If you happen to have already mastered every single collection card, you can still hold on to your packs and Card Shards! There will be more cards added to the collection over time.[/p][p]We also wanted to address some recurring concerns that have been floating around the community for a while about the future of Shop Titans. While we cannot elaborate much on what we are working on (for now!), we wanted to reassure you that Shop Titans is here to stay. While it’s true we at Kabam Montreal are working on other projects, those are separate teams, doing new things. We have no firm release date for these projects as of yet, but stay tuned for more updates![/p]

Your Shop Stats Video Is Here

[p]Hello Shopkeepers! [/p][p][/p][p]The Anniversary is here! To celebrate we have made you some personal Shop Stats videos to recap some of your shop’s milestones from the last year! [/p][p][/p][p]To access your video look out for an in-game message with a link to your video or head over to stats.playshoptitans.com! [/p][p][/p][p]Regarding accessing your video:[/p]
  • [p]Please note that in order to receive a video you had to have met a couple of criteria that are outlined on the landing page above or have filled out the community form. [/p]
  • [p]The data pulled to generate the videos could not retrieve usernames for accounts older than early 2023.[/p]
  • [p]If your account is newer than early 2023 or you've changed your username since, then you likely can fetch your video using your Player ID and can see your username displayed in the video.[/p]
  • [p]Otherwise, this means the only way to access your video, if you meet the criteria, is to use the link in the in-game mailbox or manually input your Unique ID found in the Settings menu on the landing page.[/p]
[p]Regarding some of the stats displayed in the video:[/p]
  • [p]The hours played stat, as many have deduced, is your lifetime hours played rather than just from the last year.[/p]
  • [p]The specialty stat was intended to be the category you crafted the most, but is instead the item type of the item you crafted the most and the number of times you crafted that item. For example, if your most crafted item was 1000 Squire Swords, then the stat will display "swords" as your specialty and "1000" as the crafted count.[/p]
  • [p]The hero level stats is displaying the amount of levels your heroes gained in the last year, not the total levels of your heroes.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Once you've got your video feel free to share it with your friends and with your guild! [/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for 6 years of Shop Titans and we can’t wait to celebrate for years to come![/p][p][/p][p][/p]

Shop Titans Goes TCG Update

[p]This update is slated for release next week![/p][p][/p]

New Content

Collection Cards

[p]There’s a new bookmark in the Collection Book! Cards? What’s this!?[/p][p]Cards can be earned from special Card Packs (opened with gems or earned from events). Each will reward 5 different cards to collect![/p][p]There are currently 43 different cards to collect, one per character in the game! Each comes in three different rarities too. When a card is earned, it will automatically be added to the collection book and increase your Collection Score.[/p][p]That’s not all though, each card has a unique, permanent bonus! For example, the Argon Card will unlock a permanent 5% bonus to his stats simply from earning one card. The bonus can be increased further, up to 25%, by collecting more Argon Cards and earning XP progress towards the next bonus level. Rare and Mythic Argon cards grant much more XP toward these bonuses.[/p][p]While most cards have 3 upgrade levels, a rare few only have a single, powerful effect. In this case, no bonus is available until enough XP is earned to unlock it. Elder Owen, for example, is one such card. If you manage to unlock his bonus, you’ll gain a permanent +2 furniture space for your shop![/p][p]Happy collecting, shopkeepers![/p][p][/p]

Now we’ve never been to this Amazon place, but Juniper tells us it’s a great spot.

In addition, we have a special magic-infused sapling that will be part of an exclusive offer running during the event. All the profits from this special offer will go directly to Amazon Research Internacional as well!

Progress for the event will be communicated through daily in-game mails and through daily updates on our website.

Major Changes

Pinned Messages

Guildmasters and Officers can now pin a message by pressing and holding on any message in Guild Chat. Only one message can be pinned at a time.

Announcement & Welcome Messages

Guildmasters can now set an Announcement Message and Welcome Message from the Guild Settings menu. Use these new functions to communicate your guild's interests and intents.

Announcement messages will display directly on the Guild Details menu for anyone viewing your guild to see.

Welcome messages will display on the welcome pop-up that appears for newly recruited guild members.

“Welcome Back” Improvements

For players coming back after an extended period of time, the first “Welcome Back!” message they see will contain a summary of major features from the last few updates.

Minor Changes

  • Timewarped Components will now be auto-selected (when enabled) when opening the Quest Setup menu as opposed to requiring you to open the Timewarp menu.
  • Added Eye Glasses to the customization options, available for gold for everyone.
  • Improved the Daily Offer to better take into account a player’s current progression.
  • The Guild’s Choice VFX has been toned down a bit, as per popular demand.

Balance Changes

  • Removed the Light affinity from the Nook & Cranny Dual Wield Blueprint. It just wasn’t luminous enough to deserve it. We did fix its weaker than intended stats in exchange.
  • Fixed an issue where the Ancient Jungle Quests were dropping items of subpar interest.

Webstore Updates

Gem Fountain

The Gem Fountain offer can now be purchased directly from the webstore!

Other Changes

  • Offers will now display a countdown timer to their expiration, if applicable.
  • The Gem Fountain will also display a countdown timer to the offer’s expiration after purchase, however, a notable limitation is that this timer will not update until you log into the game.

King Schedule

The King will return as a Guest Champion starting on May 26th until the 29th.

Bug Fixes

  • Fix a discrepancy in investments per level between The Sun Tower and the other buildings at higher levels.
  • Fixed the Painter's Apron customization’s color not changing when Shopkeeper avatar was set to Female body type.
  • Fixed the Timewarped Component conversion indicator not showing in the Timewarp menu when playing in Portrait mode.
  • Fixed several warnings appearing back-to-back when attempting to sell a locked item of higher quality to a Champion.
  • Fixed an issue where no error message would surface when attempting to buy a Market Slot while below the level requirement.
  • Fixed the Tier 15 filter missing from Advanced Search accessed from Racks.
  • Fixed an issue where Spirits’ skill information was missing from its Item Details menu.

It's About Time Update

This update is slated for release on April 15th.

New Content

Tier 15 is Here!

40 new blueprints are now available! There’s more every year, isn’t there!?

For this new batch of blueprints, we have to take a step back in time. A pretty big step back in fact, considering we’re time traveling back several million years. Pack a big lunch, because routine trips to the Ancient Jungle quest will be required to craft wonderful new items such as the Behemoth armor set, the Blossomblade or the mythical Dino Nuggies.

New Quest

The untamed Ancient Jungle is the realm of dinosaurs! One would be a fool to go wandering these hunting grounds willingly. We really need those components, though.

The Ancient Jungle quest can be unlocked starting at Merchant Level 66, costing 15 billion gold.

Just plain old components won’t be enough for this tier however. Read below on the new Timewarped Components.

Timewarped Components

It seems that the return trip back to the present may have a beneficial effect on some old components!

Unique to the Ancient Jungle quest, a new option to Timewarp components will be available. Whenever you start a quest, you’ll have the option to bring in a stack of compatible components. If your quest succeeds, these components will be upgraded into a new form, which is needed to craft many Tier 15 items. If the quest fails however, you’ll lose them, so be careful!

Advanced Research

A new special node has been added to Advanced Research. For each item type, if you’ve unlocked a Tier 15 blueprint and unlocked at least one node for that type, a new research node will be made available. Unlocking it will apply all previously unlocked Advanced Research nodes of that item type to Tier 15 as well.

For example, a player who has unlocked all Advanced Research for Swords can have the Craft Speed, Surcharge Energy Reduction and XP Bonus also apply to Tier 15 swords with this upgrade.

New Worker Levels

The level cap for workers has been increased to 50, provided you have the building level for it. Levels past 45 will have a different effect; the craft time reduction is more pronounced, but only applies to items of Tier 15 or higher.

As part of this change, the experience requirement for the workers levels has been reduced. You’re welcome!

Login Calendar: A Trip Through Time

While veteran players are busy time-traveling and crafting chunky Tier 15 items, we’ve also prepared a special Login Calendar for newer players to enjoy. It contains a plethora of Prehistoric rewards to claim over 15 days!

Though it is aimed towards newer players, there’s no restriction as to who can participate.

The Trip Through Time Login Calendar will start on April 17th and run until May 5th.

Major Changes

New Building Levels

The Emerald Inn and the Tavern now have new levels to accommodate the new dungeon. The buildings of city workers now also have three new levels to support their max level of 50.

Minor Changes

  • It is now possible to fully ascend an item by long-tapping the ascension button. You’ll get a warning first.
  • The item details menu will now display the multiple item types a Dual Wield item is classified as, the Quiver bonus an item has, and the affinity an item has.

Balance Changes

  • The maximum rank of Champions has been increased to 11+60.
  • Polonia’s cap on the tier of equipment stolen has been increased by 1.
  • Sigils, both True and regular, are rather old news at this point. Their fusion recipe has been simplified to help players get past Tier 11-12. They now require 10 of an appropriate quest component in exchange for 3 Sigils.
  • Elysium-related Fusions (e.g. chest and components) now require Supreme Moonstones.
  • Most city buildings have had their investment tick requirements lowered. You’ll need more ticks overall to reach the newly added building levels though!
  • The amount of crafts required to master mid-tier blueprints has been reduced slightly.
  • Slightly rebalanced minimum Hero level required to equip item tiers. Tier 15 can be equipped starting at Hero level 38.
  • Rebalanced Merchant level required to unlock tiers on the market. Tier 15 can be traded on the market starting at level 65.
  • The Elysium dungeon is now cheaper to unlock.

Webstore Updates

Updated Navigation

  • The navigation has been visually updated to better display content within that tab at a glance and support a theoretical infinite number of tabs.
  • Some improvements have also been made to scrolling through the navigation on mobile; when scrolling you will now “snap” onto the nearest button.

King Schedule

The King will return as a Guest Champion starting on April 28th until May 1st.

Seasonal Content

Cinco de Mayo Collection

The Cinco de Mayo collection will return starting on May 2nd and running until May 7th.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Grab Bags awarding incorrect quantities and/or types of rewards.
  • Fixed visual issues with background blur on several menus.
  • Fixed an issue where chat could be accessed before completing the proper tutorials.
  • Fixed the Gem cost for resetting Talent Trees not capping at 500 Gems as intended.
  • Fixed the error message when attempting to buy a blueprint from the Collection Book with an inadequate amount of Antique Tokens mentioning the King’s Caprice event not being active.
  • Fixed Vending Machine sales not contributing to tasks for selling item tiers and selling items for Gold.
  • Fixed the Item Packs section of the store displaying offers meant for early progression players regardless of player’s own progression.
  • Fixed the Mercenary hero class not properly calculating effects from Champion party bonuses.
  • Fixed a white square that would show up next to the Hero’s status assigned to the Dragon Invasion airship.
  • Fixed King’s Caprice Antique Token cost discounts applying to the Collection Book when any major event was running.
  • Fixed Royal Merchant Antique Store slot exclusive blueprints being available for purchase in the Collection Book to non-Royal Merchants.

Antiques Abound Update

New Content

Shop Titans Content Pass

This Content Pass is quite local! In fact, it feels like home! The Shop Titans Content Pass features new yet familiar content based on your favorite characters! Earn Pollux Tokens by completing tasks to work your way towards Bjorn’s Bow, or a model version of Polonia’s ship for your shop! Donovan’s Cloak is also available as a bonus reward!

Real OGs may be interested in the True Shopkeeper title, earned by completing every task of this Content Pass.

The Content Pass will be available starting on March 18th until April 2nd.

Collection Book Improvements

You have long toiled away at the Collection Book, filling its pages with legendary items. But have you ever wondered what the collection book could do for you in return?

Starting in this update, it will now be possible to purchase antique blueprints from within the collection book! Standard conditions apply; the item must be an antique, and in some cases, your account must be old enough to claim the item. One new condition however is that you must master a blueprint of the same line that is one tier above (or higher). For example, mastering a Tier 14 Wand will make all antique Wands of Tier 13 and below available to unlock using Antique Tokens at their standard cost. Until a new tier releases, Tier 14 items remain exclusive to offers and the Antique Store.

As a small bonus, the Antique Store now features a 10% discount on blueprints.

Gem Fountain

This special fountain is a new offer you don’t want to miss. For the cost of $4.99 (USD), you’ll receive 550 gems instantly alongside the Gem Fountain decoration. The Gem Fountain will then generate 50 gems daily for 30 days! You’ll need to login daily though, otherwise that day’s gems will be lost.

Once the duration runs out, the Gem Fountain will go dormant until the offer is purchased again, granting all of its bonuses (including the initial gems) once more.

Major Changes

Superior Packs

Superior Packs just got a bit superior-er! They now follow a format similar to Mega Packs, offering a bundle of new content in each half, or the complete package at a discount. Superior Packs now also contain two blueprints (with one typically belonging to a Premium line) and a few customizations or decorations.

Talent Tree Refunds

By popular demand, it is now possible to refund Talent points individually. Each point now costs 50 gems to refund. The cost of refunding an entire tree still caps out at 500 gems, so it may be a beneficial option for major changes to your playstyle. Nothing beats a Refund Token, of course.

Minor Changes

  • When using the Coincidental Preparations (chance to instantly complete a quest) talent alongside a Compass-type booster, the booster will be refunded if the quest autocompletes.
  • Many players learn very late about the existence of the Guild’s Choice mechanic for city buildings. We’ve made it a bit more eye-catching.
  • The store button is now displayed on the main HUD.

Balance Changes

  • Significantly increased the Merchant XP value of Dual Wield blueprints.
  • Blueprints found in the Antique Store now have a 10% discount.
  • The Vending Machine Surcharge chance now caps out at 20%.
  • The Vending Machine’s unique stats (Surcharge chance and sale frequency) now cap out as early as level 16, so you won’t need to spend many Dragonmarks to get the most of it.
  • The Vending Machine’s Max Energy bonus is now double that of a regular rack.

In the longer term, we’ll be looking at more substantial changes to the Vending Machine to improve its usefulness and fun factor.

Webstore Updates

Antique Token Bundles

Just in time for the Collection Book upgrade, you can now purchase Antique Tokens directly from the webstore! Six different bundles are available.

King Schedule

The King will return as a Guest Champion starting on March 31st until April 3rd.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a rare issue preventing some players from asking for help upgrading their furniture.
  • Fixed some issues with quests sorting strangely when sorted by component quantity.
  • Fixed the Squirrel Spirit model using the wrong Runestone.
  • Clarified the Vending Machine’s time per sale upgrade.
  • Fixed issues with Grab Bags not awarding appropriate rewards for their color.
  • Fixed Moonstone bounties occasionally appearing as non-premium bounties.
  • Fixed an issue where using the “None” filter would prevent the Apply button from working properly in Advanced Search.

Fixed Market information (quantity, sale price, etc.) for items in inventory not populating when below the level requirements for that item tier.

Version 18.3.0 Release Notes

This update is slated for release next week!

New Content

New Major Artifact

Everyone duck for the introduction of the Backfire Hammer! This torrid torpedo-mace packs quite the punch, but also cuts the wielder’s HP by 25% at the start of a battle. You can follow it up with some healing, or simply equip it to those weirdoes who enjoy being hurt.

Vending Machine Furniture

We’re introducing an entirely new furniture item: the Vending Machine! This special type of rack can hold items of your choosing and will slowly sell them over time while you are offline!

The Vending Machine is limited to one per shop, but we may look at increasing this limit in the future. It will cost you 1500 Gems and can then be upgraded similar to other racks (using Gold).

Major Changes

Event Leaderboard Rewards

Event Leaderboard Rewards (trophies, titles, badges) now have a much longer grace period allotted to claim them. Approximately one month after the event’s start.
Keep in mind that you’ll need to have scored enough personal contribution to complete the event in order to qualify for these leaderboard rewards.

Mega Packs & Superior Offers

We’re trying something new here. Superior Offers and Flashback offer priority has now been inverted. In other words, purchasing a mega pack will make you eligible for the Superior portion of the pack. If the superior pack is purchased, Flashback offers will be shown afterwards.

This is very much us testing the waters, so it may or may not be a permanent change. We’re hoping it works out!

Multi-Open Grab Bags

Guild Coin hoarders rejoice! It is now possible to open 10 Grab Bags at the same time.

Dragon Invasion & King’s Caprice Stats

We followed up on a widely requested feature and reworked the blueprint details screen to include a new tab showcasing the Airship Power for Dragon Invasion and Favor value for King’s Caprice, even if those events aren’t currently active. We also took this opportunity to move over other item stats previously hidden behind a tooltip to this new tab.

Minor Changes

  • For party preset enjoyers, the quest screen will now remember (between sessions) your last used tab between the Hero list and the Party Preset list.
  • It is now possible to mass invest in a capped out building.
  • Aurasongs and Familiars assigned to Guest Champions will stay with those champions until their next visit.

Balance Changes

  • Significantly increased the Worker XP obtained from Dual Wield and Quiver items.

King Schedule

The King will return as a Guest Champion starting on March 3rd until March 6th.

Webstore Updates

Currency Format Localization

The format in which currency displays in the webstore is now localized based on your browser preferences.

For example, a user in a United States locale will see the USD pricing displayed as $18.99, while a user in a Canada locale would see it displayed as US$18.99. The format will differ based on the standard set in your preferred locale.

You can change your locale by going into your browser language settings and selecting a language and region preference.

Bug Fixes

  • Champion requests will no longer ask for items you cannot craft, typically premium blueprints for which you do not own the worker.
  • Fixed an issue where Velites would wield the Goldmane Guard upside down.
  • The Command Console decoration no longer accumulates snow during the winter snow event.
  • Fixed the Ancestor Spirit filter missing from Advanced Search.
  • Fixed push notifications not working for some events, such as Lost City of Gold.
  • The Platinum Pair blueprint no longer requires two Tier 3 resources, the Ether cost has been changed to Oil.

Year of the Snake Update

This update is slated for release next week!

New Content

Year of the Snake Content Passss

Curl up and pay attention, for it’s time for a new Lunar New Year content pass! This slithery pass contains some surprisingly scaly stuff, such as blueprints and customizations. Complete tasks and earn Snake Fangs to unlock them!

Players who complete every task in this content pass will receive the Venomous title, but it’s not a blank card to be toxic!

The event will run from January 21st until February 18th.

Snake Pet

If dogs and dragons aren't your style, may we interest you in this extra lengthy companion?

This danger noodle is eager to slither around your shop, and is exclusive to the Year of the Snake content pass!

Lunar New Year Login Calendar

For display purposes only. Not indicative of actual rewards.
It’s time for our yearly red envelopes! Login every day between January 23rd and February 11th to claim rewards!

We’ve also taken this opportunity to significantly revamp our login calendar mechanic. Not only does it look a bit nicer, it also allows for extra flexibility on the player’s part. The event will run for 20 days with 14 rewards available to claim. Only one reward can be claimed per day, but you’ll have some extra wiggle room in case you miss a day or two! Unlike previously, rewards are now claimed in order, so it is no longer possible to skip over and miss a reward by missing a single day.

Year of the Snake Giveaway

Log in at any time during the Login Calendar to receive a free Snake Statue, as well as a skin variant depending on your platform! Nobody’s stopping you from logging in on different platforms to claim them all either. The different platforms are Android, iOS, Epic Games Store, and Steam!

Lantern Festival Giveaway

But wait, there’s more! Login anytime between February 10th and the 14th for another giveaway! The Lantern Pond decoration! It’s pretty big!

Blitz Pass

The Sia and Yami blitz passes are now available for new players.

Major Changes

Guild Member Finder

Following the Guild Finder change a few months back, we’ve now also updated the Guild Member Finder tool. Beyond simply searching for a specific player, it will now also automatically list a few players that the game thinks could be a good match for your current guild. From there, you can send an invitation. There’s no guarantee they’ll accept, though.

Minor Changes

  • Increased the character limit for promo codes from 14 to 20.

Optimizations

Another round of optimization has been done. Internal reports show reductions in RAM usage by up to 100 MB on iOS, and up to 200MB on Android and PC. Possible memory leak issues have also been resolved. We still recommend playing on devices with at least 4GB of RAM.

In other news, also optimized other inefficiencies during long play sessions, particularly those that involved trips to the city screen. Something about generating thousands of shoes.

Balance Changes

  • All Platinum items now have the Ancestor Spirit as their spirit affinity, replacing the Quetzalcoatl.
  • The Silken Assailants blueprint now requires steel rather than ironwood.
  • The Owl Wing Wand now has a dual affinity with Water due to its connection with Lilu.
  • Slightly increased the value of the Platinum Wand.
  • Platinum Wand upgrades now reduce the Platinum Bangle cost by 1.

Webstore Updates

Login and Session Improvements

Improved Login Experience

Some backend improvements have been made to the login process to make it a bit more reliable and communicate errors better. We will continue to look at improving the experience further where possible.

Simultaneous Session Retention

Sessions (i.e. being logged in) can now be retained on up to five clients (devices, browsers, etc.), this should allow you to remain logged in on your phone and PC at the same time for purchases.

Forced Session Invalidation

As an added security option (given the increase to up to five simultaneous sessions mentioned above), you can now force logout of all other existing sessions by using the "Sign in and sign out of all other devices" option when signing into the webstore.

Useful for when you no longer have access to a device you previously granted a longer session retention period to and you want to invalidate it.

Remember Me

By default, the webstore will now only remember your session for 2 hours (this doesn't apply to existing sessions). To increase this session retention period to 30 days simply enable the "Remember me for 30 days" option when signing into the webstore.

King Schedule

I’ll be available as a guest Champion on February 3rd until the 6th!

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the Platinum Blueprint icon showing up as Water instead.
  • Fixed a rare Party Preset bug where some members could be considered invalid and prevent the start of a quest.
  • Fixed the footprint of the pizza table decoration.
  • Fixed an issue where Reinhold’s Caprices would sometimes ask for multiple premium blueprint lines at once. One at a time, please!
  • Fixed a disconnect related to Dragon Invasion.
  • Fixed an issue where Hero Slots unlocked through the content pass did not properly unlock Party Preset slots.
  • Fixed an issue where the content pass icon would always show a notification as if there was a reward to claim.
  • Updated the icon of the Ancestor Spirit to better match other Lost City of Gold spirits.
