UPDATE 18/01/2015:
We very much regret that Shoppe Keep is not currently available. There is a matter that has arisen between the developers relating to the ownership of the Intellectual Property. We are working with them to resolve this issue, but cannot make any further statement at the moment.
ORIGINAL POST:
Due to circumstances beyond our control Shoppe Keep is not available on Steam at present.
We are working hard to resolve this and will give you more information as soon as possible.
There is no need for you to remove this product from your computer and we encourage you to keep playing and enjoying Shoppe Keep! Keep posted to the forums and news pages so that we can update you as soon as possible.
Welcome to 2016! Content ID Issue Resolved! New Faces For Customers And Progression System
Hello everyone,
We have just a little bit of news to share today.
First, I’d like to let everyone know that we will soon be uploading a build which will remove the Christmas theme for Shoppe keep. We hope you all had fun with the game over the holidays and hope that you continue to enjoy the game into 2016.
Secondly, we have finally resolved the Content ID system that was put in place by error. We have made our thoughts on this system well known and feel that they have no place in today’s gaming climate. We love youtubers and have a lot of respect for the players who make interesting content which also helps to spread news about our game. I’d like to thank Daniel Romeros, our musician for Shoppe Keep to help resolve this issue, it took many phone calls and emails but the content ID system has now been removed.
This means that anyone wishing to monetise from any videos of Shoppe keep can of course do so without being at risk of any copyright notices from now on.
Thirdly we will be continuing to work on Shoppe Keep as usual. I will aim to share some more news very soon, but for a quick tease; our artist has been working on the customers. They will soon have different types of hair, as well as a new lip system which will soon change in game so customers will be more alive than ever before.
Finally I’d like to address some thoughts from the community for the most recent update. We have read every every post and are very pleased that we have such an active and supportive community. The developer Arvydas would like to make just a brief announcement on some thoughts players have had regarding a free play mode.
“We will not be making a totally free mode as we feel that it contradicts the vision that we as developers have. We are sorry for those who do not enjoy this decision, but we will be trying to add more options that will allow players to customise their gaming experience to have some of its features unlock faster or far easier.”
We do feel that our weakest link is a decent tutorial, this is something that we will be aiming to rectify soon and hope that we can make the progression more satisfying than before for all players.
We hope you all have an awesome 2016 and you can bet that we’ll be working hard to refine improve and expand Shoppe Keep.
ChangeLog 12.24.2016 - Difficulty, Skill Trees And K Points
Hello Everyone,
A quick update today, we took your suggestions on board regarding progression and the new skill system based on the update from the 22nd of December. If you've not seen the update from 22nd December, check the link below:
We want to take a better look at everything in the new year once we return fully after the Christmas period. However, we have decided to upload a new update to fix a couple of bugs and to add a new drop down menu to the options screen. A difficulty selector.
This can only be accessed in the main menu options menu, it can not be activated in the middle of a game. Based on the difficulty selected, players may earn more K points from which to upgrade their shoppe and select skills.
It is wise to reset your progress using the options menu as early on, you can level up faster and upon reaching new levels you will be given a large amount of k points.
Earlier today I did some tests regarding progression and how much k points you can earn per each difficulty during the first day. Please see below:
Very easy:
120 k points
A shoppe featuring just three pedestals and Selling the following items at 126% - Frost resist and health potion
Reached Level 3
Easy
80 K points
A shoppe featuring just three pedestals and Selling the following items at 126% - Frost resist and health potion
Reached Level 3
Challenge
53 K points
A shoppe featuring just three pedestals and Selling the following items at 126% - Frost resist and health potion
Reached Level 3
Of course, there may be more efficient shoppe keepers out there than myself, and there may be some who are not as experienced, so these numbers are an estimate of what you can expect.
Additionally, I did not complete any quests in the above test, these will give you large amounts of K points upon completion too.
We hope you enjoy this small update, we will be away during the Christmas period so once again, have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year from all of the team here.

Andrea:
Merry Christmas fellow ShoppeKeepers ,your support and feedback on our game is really the most important thing to us, thank you all, have an happy holiday playing the Christmas Update!
Arvydas:
Good day fellow players. What a wild trip this was? I cant possibly count the builds that were made while updating, patching, fixing, adding content to the game. Seeing how it looked just a few months ago, and what it is capable of now. Each one of you, even those who have not wrote in the community forums have played a vital part in the development of the game. Feels like it is a speech for a full release, but we still have some road to go. We here at Shoppe Keep will take a small break for the Holidays, get some rest, and will be back not long after full of energy, more ideas and passion to make this an even bigger game than it is now! Enjoy your Holidays and thank you for your support! As always....stay tuned.
Important Edit:
As discussed in yesterdays announcement there may be some issues when using old save data. details from yesterdays announcement below:
"We do recommend that when the update launches, it would be best to clear your save data and reset the progress in the options menu. The way we’ve handled the skill trees may mean that there is a chance it will cause some issues for players using their old save data."
