1.8.0 - New tile system / Quantum rift up

Hello everyone. Since I recently started a job, updates are less frequent, but I am still working on the game. Honestly, I don't remember all the modifications, so here is a list of the general changes:


  • All special tiles are available. They retain the same idea, so it won't be difficult to remember them. The goal is to enable the development of games for multiple schools of magic.
  • The tiles have a global attack and can be boosted within a level.

  • The quantum rift has its own bonus now.
  • The items from the quantum rift are now stronger and no longer have upgrades (with the exception of the rift generator and quantum remote). Since playing as the quantum rift removes the possibility of a store, I have decided to make the forge less important for the quantum rift.
  • 3 new items for the quantum rift.

  • Many items have been reworked/updated with the new tile system.
  • Items like 'applies 5 holy to a friendly piece' no longer target rocks.


My overall feeling is that the new tile system is not yet fully operational. There are not enough means to flood the board with special tiles. The next update will focus on spells to enable this gameplay to exist. I will also take the opportunity to make some spells more attractive.

1.7.2 - New level & balance patch


  • Devil room: taking an item from the devil room gives you 1 spell power for the level
  • Quantum rift: quantum items increase your chance to hace the quantum rift
  • Library: spells are cheaper

  • Cursed pillar: knight effect is now the rook effect / knight effect reworked / is now an friendly piece
  • Ingnite: costs 5 mana instead of 2
  • Castling: costs 2 mana instead of 3

  • Fix: interaction between curse and dimensional towers

1.7.1 - Weekly update


  • Tab menu improved
  • New spell: dimensional tower

  • Fix: pawns in the french town are pawns (not rook)
  • Fix: last turn gold missing in the water temple
  • Fix: lightning ascension works properly
  • Fix: eternal pieces' skin on clients
  • Fix: weird UI behavior on client's inventory

1.7.0 - New level!


  • New level: french castle (act II)
  • New spell: swarm of nanites
  • Necromicon costs 150 (instead of 200)
  • Mimic costs 100/100/100/100 (instead of 75/75/75/200)
  • Spanish inquisition is stronger
  • it is not necessary to go on the "next level tile" anymore: you can just click

  • Fix: you should not find item you already have in sellers

1.6.1 - Weekly update


  • Gold mine rebalanced / performances improved
  • Water pillar spawns less bubbles / bubbles start with 3 HP

  • Fix: knight figurine works properly while targeting a piece with earth
  • Fix: pieces can't go on a moving tile anymore
  • Fix: vodoo doll uses confusion instead of mind control
  • Fix: combustion energy required

1.6.0 - New level!


  • Forgotten wall removed from the game and is replaced by "Castling"
  • New spell: venom snake
  • Destroyed machine: nanohealers have more HP

Spells




  • Wings: costs 1 mana less
  • Voodoo doll completely reworked
  • Confusion / Mins Control / Psychodominator removed from the game (merged with voodoo doll)
  • Lightning pillar : costs 2 mana less but 1 more summoning sickness
  • Feather: costs 1 mana less
  • Promotion: better chance to promote
  • Geyser: improved


Fixes




  • Fixed: only your pieces are concerned by the magic broom
  • Fixed: zombies don't get earth+ when they get poison+
  • Fixed: zombies of the cemetery spawn "cemetery zombies" (instead of normal zombies)
