November 2nd Patch Notes

  • Some difficulty adjustments for hard mode
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the extra bosses from dropping their appropriate upgrades
  • Fixed an issue with a checkpoint spawning the player in an incorrect location
  • Fixed a bug which could activate a giant skeleton chase in the wrong part of a level

Hard Mode update is now live!

A big new update is here. Now, after beating the game, you will unlock a terrifyingly difficult new adventure! In this mode, you can play as Hunter's skeleton through twisted and tough versions of previous stages. In addition to this, normal mode now features new NPC characters that you can visit for hints, so whether you thought the game was too easy or too hard, there's something here for you!

September 17th Patch Notes

  • Hunter does not remain visible after dying during the voodoo doll phase of the Saturday fight
  • Saturday's cane now has a glowing outline
  • Changes made to timing of some attacks in Saturday fight

  • Homing technique no longer homes in on the corner during the Defilim fight
  • Fans can no longer get you stuck to walls

August 11th Patch Notes

  • Fixed the error that occurred during the final boss that resulted from the boomerang remaining charged and allowing you to hit the boss when you are not meant to
  • Diagonal overworld walking sprites have been added

  • Shurikens carry charge between them during the final boss
  • Fixed issue with the analog stick not working for swimming and pink fruit
  • Platform positions altered slightly in Craggy Contest
  • Fixed issues with the second shuriken boomerang coming out at unusual angles
  • Fixed bug that would show the mystery boomerang in the pause menu before it's been properly unlocked

August 3rd Patch Notes

  • Overworld icons now have different sprites depending on if the stage is completed/the necklace is collected.
  • Grim Bob's intro sound stops playing if the scene is skipped
  • Fixed issue with the bonus countdown sound effect playing twice on restarting a bonus area
  • Fixed a bug that would cause bonus text to appear in other areas if you quit out during a bonus countdown
  • Projectiles are destroyed upon completing a bonus to prevent a player from dying after it's already completed
  • Grabbing one of the shuriken boomerangs in a combo bonus area will no longer kill you so long as one is still present
