The patch notes you've all been waiting for! Those who have been experiencing issues with crossplay invites between Xbox and PC fret no more, as they have been fixed. Plus, many of you might be pleased to hear that the scope on the Joseph Heavy Automatic is GONE. Check out the rest of the patch notes below.
Sker Ritual Patch v.1.0.0.20458 - 26/04/2024
BUG FIXES & UPDATES - Added a Party Code System that can be used with cross-play enabled platforms to create private parties (PC, Xbox) - Increased Damage of the Joseph Heavy Automatic, from 45-30 to 75-45 - Removed the obscuring scope from the Joseph Heavy Automatic - Fixed an issue causing users to join other games or to be joined by other games while they're in online play - Fixed many collision issues & glitches in all levels - Fixed a bug causing the combination lock puzzle in "Cursed Lands of Lavernock" to get stuck - Fixed a bug causing the Game Summary screen to not appear if you've been disconnected by the host - Reduced the number of Abominations that spawn during the hidden story in "The Void" in "The Ashes of Sker Hotel" - Increase the radius of how close you need to be next to the lamb to escort it in "Cursed Lands of Lavernock" - Fix an issue causing duration to scale incorrectly for the "Critical Mass" miracle - Fixed an issue causing the visual for the Shattering Edge to not appear in the Upgrade machine when upgrading - Fixed an issue causing the environment hazards to not reset properly during the hidden story in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" - Fixed position of the sword in the furnace in "Deadly Lover's Fortress"
CONSOLE SPECIFIC UPDATES - Fixed an issue causing the game to run out of memory and crash on PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S -Added the following graphics options to toggle: Volumetric Fog, Shadows, Micro Shadows, Contact Shadows, Subsurface Scattering & Blur - PS5: Potentially Fixed an issue causing the PlayStation 5 controller to vibrate in an online game when somebody else shoots when using the "Immersive" mode

Sker Ritual Patch v.1.0.0.20378 Hotfixes - 23/04/2024
BUG FIXES & UPDATES
Fixed an issue that caused the in-game camera to render at 60 frames a second even if your game is running at 300 FPS
Fixed an issue causing the footsteps to play more often if you were playing at higher than 60 FPS
Fixed an issue causing some "Kill Enemies within an area" objectives not to count if you kill a lot of enemies at once, it now counts every kill towards the credit
Fixed an issue causing the party UI to error
Fixed an issue causing matchmaking to be stuck
Fixed an issue with the Frostfire Miracle causing it to make enemies you hit quicker if you upgrade it instead of slower
Fixed an issue where using the Auto-Aim Miracle caused errors if the enemy had no head
Fixed an issue where Aim Assist using a controller would get stuck on enemies that disappear when you kill them unti you look at another enemy
Lowered volume of footsteps, will add a slider in a future patch so users can modify it

Thank you also for being patient as we tackle issues and bugs that have been brought to our attention and we have been working on them as fast as we can. A hotfix patch was released over the weekend to tackle a few of these bugs and you can see what has already been fixed below.

BUG FIXES & UPDATES - Improved CPU performance from texture loading and other small changes - Fixed multiple issues caused by other players leaving during a multiplayer game - Fixed an issue that caused the game not to end when everybody dies and has no token if someone has left the game - Fixed an issue that caused the scoreboard & game over screen to show people who are no longer in the game - Fixed an issue that caused Steam Deck to not show the Game Over screen when leaving the level - Fixed an issue that caused the game to break when swapping between Sker Passes automatically - Added icons for people who rebind actions to the middle mouse button and extra mouse buttons - Fixed a memory leak caused by the damage text - Fixed a memory leak caused by caching NPCs - Fixed a memory leak caused by points added notifications - Improved CPU performance of levels with loads of flickering lights - Videos should now skip if they fail to play, also added "ignoreVideos" as a launch option on Steam in case any other issues are caused by videos failing to play - Removed Aim Assist targets from fake NPCs in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" - Fixed an issue causing conflict in lobby names and sometimes making people join other random rooms - Fixed the Abraham boss fight sometimes leaving the room and resetting - Increased size of the teammate revive interact so you don't get interrupted when you get hit - Fixed some errors causing some abilities to sometimes break - Fixed the Diver Helmet enemy sometimes forgetting to leave the spawn zone

The time has come! Sker Ritual's 1.0 launch is here along with a horde of console players as the 1-4 player fps zombie survival arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported Sker Ritual on its early access journey and welcome to all those who will be having the Sker experience for the first time.
Sker Ritual has four unique locations to explore, with countless secrets to discover, optional objectives, and easter eggs which progress the story from Maid of Sker’s evil ending. Sker Ritual will also feature cross-play between Xbox and PC players.

As we mentioned last week, we have no more patches ahead of the big 1.0 launch this April! However, we wanted to share our latest release date trailer, let you know the results of our new upgraded weapon names AND remind you about an upcoming event!
We are so excited to bring you Sker Ritual's 1.0 launch on 18th April on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S! Crossplay will be available on launch for PC and Xbox.
Now it's time for some results. We've been taking your upgraded weapon name suggestions and we put all of them to a vote! There were some close votes but here are the winners:

It's a patchless week this week as we work on console porting however we don't like to leave you without something to be excited about! We know you love a weapon drop and so we wanted to introduce you to a brand new gun named the Joseph Heavy Automatic.
The Joseph Heavy Automatic joins the Basil Automatic 1913, the baseball bat and our mysterious weapon coming to Sker Ritual soon!
