Happy Friday Sker Islanders, our team have been working on resolving some pesky bugs and issues this week! Not only that, we've added partial Welsh language support for our Welsh speaking players!
Sker Ritual Patch v.0.5.2 - 17/11/2023
ADDITIONS & ISSUE FIXES
- Added partial Welsh Language support - The in-game difficulty change Sword & Shield interacts now get disabled when you hit Wave 10 - Modified the Max Ammo Power-up to give Ammo to all weapons in the inventory - Lucky will no longer give you weapons that are in your inventory - Time between waves on normal difficulties now lowers after Wave 60 & 70 - Updated visuals of the targets in the "Bull's Eye" objective in "Sewers of the Dead" so they can still be recognized if certain post-processing effects have been turned off in Graphics Options
- Fixed an issue causing the Half Price powerup to calculate incorrectly in Easy, Hard and Nightmare difficulties - Fixed an issue causing the Abomination's health to reset when it enters combat - Fixed an issue causing people to drop into the boss room in "The Ashes of Sker Hotel" if they get pushed through the geometry in the Labyrinth - Fixed an issue causing people to get stuck if they fall into the core room in "The Cursed Lands of Lavernock"
- Updated NVIDIA DLSS to support NVIDIA DLSS 3.0

NEW MASK REWARDS
- Added New Mask rewards for defeating all bosses on Easy, Normal, Hard and Nightmare difficulties
ADDITIONS & ISSUE FIXES
- Added additional subtask to reveal where the entrance to the boss room is in the "Reveal the Way" objective in "Cursed Lands of Lavernock - Added a radius to display where you need to stand in the "Date With The Devil" objective in "Cursed Lands of Lavernock" - Added improved animations to Elisabeth in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" - Added additional objective in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" to streamline the main objective - Added a background to the player icon preview menu - Added sounds for when a player is revived using the free spirit revive
- Changed the VFX for the default Ultimate Ability - Changed the layout to the intro of "Deadly Lover's Fortress"
- Fixed an issue on Steam Deck that caused the game to not get to the main menu - Fixed an issue causing the Intro video to not play if the game is launched for the first time - Fixed textures for combination puzzle showing at low resolution in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" - Fixed an incorrect icon showing up in one of the trial started notifications - Fixed a culling issue in "Deadly Lover's Fortress"

Sker Islanders, can you believe that we've reached Patch 0.5.0!? In this major update you can expect to see brand new cutscenes with more to come, the introduction of Dread Levels, epic boss music and so much more!
Sker Ritual Patch v.0.5.0 - 13/10/2023
INTRO CUTESCENE
Delve into the beginnings of the Sker Ritual story in a brand new intro cutscene. Discover your fated purpose against The Quiet Ones and the upcoming battles against those who will do anything to stop you. Plus, there will be more cutscenes coming soon!
PERK UPGRADES
A whole new batch of perk upgrades have been unlocked! There are now 5 perk upgrades available that can be obtained using Blodwin's Vitrols that come in 3 tiers: Basic, Advanced and Elite. You can receive Basic Vitrols every 5 waves but Advanced and Elite are only available at higher waves.
You can only activate 1 perk upgrade at a time.
MIRACLE EXPLORATION MENU
You can now explore all available miracles and their descriptions in an easily accessible menu which will also give you some insight about each associated God. Plan and execute miracle combos with ease to experience even more ways to take on the onslaught of the Quiet Ones.
DREAD LEVELS
Now also introducing Dread Levels! These additional 20 Dread Levels reward you for levelling up your profile with a new level frame, they can be accessed in menu by going to Upgrades -> Dread Levels
NOTES
There is more Sker Ritual story to discover in the newly added notes which can be collected by finding them in levels and enemy drops. Snoop through diary entries, flick through research notes, and analyse shipping records to unravel the truth.
There are 52 to find, what will you discover about the happenings on Sker Island? These notes can be accessed in menu by going to Profile -> Notes
BOSS MUSIC
Final Boss Encounters just levelled up! Each Final Boss Encounter will now be accompanied by boss music.
ADDITIONS & ISSUE FIXES
- Added a notification for each time a teammate dies - Added a notification for each time a teammate revives - Added a notification for when a Stalker enemy gets spawned - Added UI to show the timer of a player when they can still be revived for free by their body - Changed Visual for the free timed revives - Fixed an issue that caused enemies to be stuck at their spawn points - Fixed an issue causing enemies to not follow players quickly enough when using teleports - Fixed an issue causing enemies to sometimes disappear in front of other players in an online game - Fixed an issue that caused the game to stall sometimes if an effect attempts to be applied on an enemy that was destroyed - Fixed an issue that caused the next game to break if a game is exited while an enemy is destroyed - Fixed an issue that caused the combat damage text to stop showing

Sker Ritual Patch v.0.4.11 - 22/09/2023
MIRACLES - TIER 4/COMBOS - Added 7 Tier 4 Miracles, which provide more passive modifiers to the player and abilities. To access Tier 4, you must have at least 3 miracles by 2 gods each (6 in total), which will show you the new ones of that type
ADDITIONS & ISSUE FIXES - Added a new Trial: "Frenzy Catalyst" : Failing to complete it will make all enemies enrage until the end of the round - Updated the visual for the "Praetorian" in the "Deadly Lover's Fortress" boss fight - Fixed an issue that caused enemies to be stuck when they leave combat before they have finished properly initializing if they had a lot of animations, which resulted them in T-Posing - Fixed an a couple of errors that would cause the game to be interrupted if an enemy with no stun animation got stunned - Fixed an issue with the last boss in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" which caused the boss health bar to not disappear after being defeated - Fixed an issue causing some Trials to show as failed on the UI even when succesfully finishing them, if they had been previously failed during that level

DEADLY LOVER'S FORTRESS BOSS RE-DESIGN
- Boss Room redesigned - Encounter now has 2 more phases triggered at 66% and 33% - The main target is no longer the Praetorian - The main target now gets shielded at 66% until all enemies around are defeated - Praetorian is now an additional enemy during the encounter - After Phase 1 wall blockers get enabled randomly around the room
ADDITIONS & ISSUE FIXES
- Fixed an issue where the "DNA Room" area was marked as active for enemies before anyone entered it in "Deadly Lover's Fortress" - Fixed an issue causing an escort interact during the "Cages of Torment" for the "Deadly Lover's Fortress" level to be enabled at the wrong time - Fixed an issue causing certain abilities to not start at the correct time if they had a health percent requirement - Fixed various errors that would cause the game to sometimes halt
COMING VERY SOON: Miracles - Introducing Tier 4/Combos
