We mixed classic dungeon crawler and card game, and we got a kind of adventure-flavored gaming cocktail.

Hi friends!
We have a new update that fixes issues with drawing tablets, improves game balance and adds useful fixes.
About monetization - after your comments under the monetization discussion, we decided to remove microtransactions from the game and make the game paid on release with an estimated price of $10.
This is the last more or less major update before the release. We plan to release it this fall, when we will add a very important feature that the game needs a lot.

We have a new update for you that adds the long awaited easy game mode. In this mode, games are saved on each level, and when you die you don't lose anything, instead the save is loaded. However, playing the game in this mode does not open NEW GAME+ modes, they can only be opened in normal or hardcore mode.
Removed the prototype card "Mega-Plasma Blast", it severely broke the balance of the game, when it could be upgraded to 0 mana and endlessly repeated.
Fixed a bug that was causing lag on islands.
Fixed the new Ghost avatar, now it can be bought in the store.
Also fixed a number of small bugs and bugs.

Greetings, dear Sketch Crawler players!
We invite you to take part in an important discussion about the future of our game and its monetization.
Sketch Crawler is moving towards release, but we have not yet decided how the game will pay for further development. The game has been 5 years in the making, and all this time we've been funding it with our own money, which honestly hasn't been easy.
Initially we looked at a Free to Play (F2P) model with microtransactions, similar to Hearthstone, where you could buy sealed decks, avatars, and other items for real money. However, this often drew negative reactions and as a result negative reviews. As time passed, we realized that such a model negatively affects the feel of the game in a way that feels like it's tricking players into paying money. The difficulty of the game is no longer perceived as an interesting challenge, but rather as a torment designed to send the player to the store to buy boosts.
That's why we made the decision to disable microtransactions in order to look at other options and find a better and fair way.
Right now we are thinking of choosing the option of a one-time purchase of the game for $10 on release, and selling big DLC with new content - locations, avatars, maps and abilities.
So it's important for us to hear what you think before we make a final decision. Share your thoughts. What price do you think is fair? Or maybe you have other monetization suggestions that better suit the game?
Regardless of the final decision, the game will remain free until release.

Hi friends, we have a quick update for you, adding a few important features, as well as a couple of bugfixes.
Fixed a bug with AI when they attempting to calculate the path to another level of buildings.
Fixed the anomalies generated on the levels, now they change their upgrade level.
Anomalies can now be cleaned with the Magic Vacuum Cleaner.
Fixed a bug where the game switches to the admin area.
Added the ability to import sounds in drawing editor.
Added to the settings the ability to change the screen resolution.
Added to the settings the mode of switching to the window.
Added FOV adjustment to the settings.

Huge update v0.7
Hello, friends! We have prepared a new huge update for you! We've added new adventure areas in the form of procedurally generated islands surrounded by water, filled with constructions, deadly creatures, challenges, and dangerous adventures. Besides, the update has a lot of new features, balance and AI improvements.
Improved enemy AI, taught them new tricks, now they act smarter and are harder to fool.
Improved card descriptions, making them easier to understand.
Improved the balance of the game and card effects.
Added a color saturation slider to the Drawing Editor.
In the Drawing Editor added a hot key to move the camera - X.
In the Drawing Editor added frame transfer between different cards. Signature of authorship is saved during such transfer.
In the Drawing Editor when we play an animation, it plays its sounds. It is convenient to understand whether its sound is suitable.
Added new endings of the game, designed for passing in New Game+ modes.
New Game+ modes are different in difficulty, bosses and game endings with unexpected twists and turns.
Improved necromancy cards for raising the dead. The dead now gain a random level from level one to necromancer level.
Added a variety of magic effects that apply when interacting with statues, magical objects, altars, and fountains.
Improved the level map, now it can be moved (mouse and keyboard) and zoomed (mouse wheel).
Now the level of generated traps changes and corresponds to the difficulty of the location.
When an ability or trigger on a creature is activated, it makes a sound.
Reduced the number of prototype cards falling out of the prototype deck. Now there will be 3 instead of 5.
Added an Enable or Disable All button to the skins.
Made equipment in slots play animation.
Made settings for the range of rendering objects in the game, useful for those who have low fps in game.
Added a lot of new quests.
Added a change in the size of creatures depending on their level.
In hard mod now cards are not removed from the collection when starting a new game, instead they are sent to the graveyard.
If kicking a lying creature, it now flies away from the kick an unlimited number of times. Helps make it easier to run away if you have somewhere to fly off to.
And also made a huge number of small improvements and fixes.
In the near future, we plan to improve the generation of islands, megamagic and the creation of your own cards, a level editor, and adding story quests and new mysteries.

Unfortunately, there were some unpredictable challenges during the preparation of this update. But right now we are working to deliver it as fast as possible. I can say that we are at the finish line and I think during June the long-awaited update will be with you. Sorry that you have to wait a little longer.
As we joke in Ukraine about game development - the first 90% of a project is not as difficult as the second 90%.

Hello friends!
We are just a little bit away from the big update v0.7. There are a lot of new features inside, such as the first open-world locations with generated islands with mountains, obstacles and buildings. There will also be a lot of fixes and improvements. We plan to release it this month. It's just a little bit left! In the meantime, we would like to share screenshots of new locations and a fun slice of letsplay from our players.
ps: in Steam by the way at the end of letsplays there is a little secret part :)

Yoo-hoo! Our experimental project continues to actively evolve.
This year the game has a lot of things - card upgrades, new game+, hardcore mode, horror elements, new card mechanics, new quests and creatures, card graveyard, new collection interface, greatly improved gameplay and balance, the game has become simpler and user-friendly, got skins and steam workshop.
And for next year we have even more ambitious plans - we want to take the game to the next level by adding open world generation of islands and continents with mountains, forests, castles, settlements and dungeons. All of this will be generated along with the story and quests. We are actively experimenting with this now and preparing a big update. Plans include a new story, quests, card mechanics, editor and world generator.
We are very happy that you like our game and we will try to do our best next year to surprise you more than once.
