Hi friends, we have prepared another update for you! We added a new game mode, improved game intro, made a lot of gameplay improvements.



  • Hardcore mod - a new game mode, available from the start. In hardcore all cards from the collection are lost on the death of your character, but the experience is doubled.
  • Loot has become more powerful - now cards you pick up can be already leveled up.
  • The duration of effects from elixirs, global spells and resists has changed. Now they last until the character rests.
  • Made a lot of game balance fixes - high level creatures became more powerful. Magic has gotten stronger.
  • Improved redraw quests. Now they are not given for all level objects of the same type, but for a specific object. The quest can be done later on another level. Added cards with descriptions of the quest in the quests section.
  • Added a story intro about the King of Cartoons at the start of the game.
  • Redesigned the store - greatly simplified all the goods, removed crystals. Now all goods can be bought for gold, which is obtained in the game. Removed monetization, crystal and gold mines.
  • Changed the breaking of equipment and weapons. Now they do not go to the graveyard, they can only be repaired at the anvil.
  • Now you can't escape by ally to another level while the player is in danger.
  • Fountains now apply different boosts depending on the color of the fountain.
  • The collection now shows all the upgrades of the selected card.
  • A lot of fixes have been made to card fusing.
  • Made fixes for bad level generation, when the generation gets rooms that can't be accessed.
  • Added a visual hint in the form of cells on the floor. To make it easier to navigate on the level. The hint can be disabled in the settings.
  • Fixed a lot of small bugs and buggy moments.

Hello, friends! Following the recent update, we've added even more great new features for our beloved game. Here they are!

What's new?

  • Import. Now you can add your own images to the game. To do this, you need them to be PNG and the desired resolution is 256x256. Added to the drawing editor.
  • New game+ Now, after completing the game, you will open a more difficult game mode with more dangerous opponents. And after completing New game+, you will open New game++. What will happen if you pass it too? You'll see if you do :)
  • Improved effect descriptions on cards to make them easier to understand
  • Sketch Crawler discord server. Yay! Add from the main menu.
  • The higher the level of the creature, the more experience it will give you. 10% per level.
  • New items in the store - Gold and Crystal Mines, as well as the Portal to the treasures of Multiland.
  • Color resists have been changed, now they will give magic resist instead of color resist.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Ai creatures to jump into their traps

Woo-hoo! Major update v0.5

Hi friends, we're finally here!

We've done a lot of work! The game is becoming more and more what we want it to be. There are many more updates ahead, but for us this one is special. After redesigning the interface, introducing a lab and a graveyard, the game is up and running on a new level. Game balance has become friendlier, and the interface and tooltips are clearer.

What's new?


Added Laboratory and card progression

  • In the magic lab you can level up your cards, as long as you have enough essence.
  • Color plays an important role in card progression. When a card gets a level it gives you a choice of card upgrades, depending on the color of the card.
  • There is an additional ability for pure color - when only one color is used on the card. Opens at the third level.
  • Card progression also affected the creatures that the player meets in the dungeons. Their ability and effects depend on their color.


Added Graveyard.
Now your cards don't disappear when you die, but go to the graveyard. Here they can be returned or sold for essence.


Added Shop
Here you can buy different card sets, unlock game abilities, buy essence, gold and crystals. We added a new items to the shop.


Also:

  • Improved game balance, the game has become friendlier for newcomers, but is still a challenge for experienced players.
  • Added about 100 new creatures.
  • Redesigned game locations, added new rooms, puzzles, traps and buildings.
  • Added an option to reset your save.
  • When you publish a skin, you can immediately check the box "make a skin public" and your skin will immediately become available in the studio.

Hello friends, we are currently working on a major update that will bring something new to the game.

We're adding endless upgrade to all magic cards, traps, creatures, etc. Now they can be upgraded by adding new attributes, and the color of the card will greatly affect the possible effects of the card. Also will be added a lot of new abilities for leveling up the cards. Upgrade will also affect the enemies with their magic, which will make the game even more interesting.



Also, we are working on the interface to make it even more convenient and understandable.

Update v0.42

Hello friends! Work on the game continues and we have a fresh update for you.

CHANGES AND FIXES:

  • The Archive will now save who the original author of the card. After you save you have to hover your mouse cursor over the image in the Archive and it will say who the original author and the history of changes by other players.
  • The text descriptions and voice acting of the cards is also saved in the Archive.
  • Increased dropout probability of coins from defeated creatures by 1.5 times.
  • Bosses of dungeons now guaranteed to drop the loot.
  • At the beginning of the game starter cards are offered for no more than 3 mana.
  • When you get a level the cards of your choice are offered not more expensive than the player's mana +2.
  • In the editor added a window with an animation when you go out. You can immediately see the result of the drawing.
  • Fixed the tool "Line" - now you can see the single-pixel line.
  • All the edited cards from the Steam skins are now stored in the "Local steam workshop".
  • Added a tooltip when a player is paralyzed and trying to walk. Now appears the message "I can't. I am paralyzed."
  • Fixed the starting lines of the NPC in the newbie dungeon.
  • Fixed the bug with the freezing of the NPC that awards the card saving device. Now he awards the device only in the bar "Drunken Rat".

Hi friends, we've updated the game to version 0.41.
Most of the changes are about skins and the paint editor.

Skins

  • redrawn by X cards will now be linked to the skin they were in
  • fixed the skyboxes, now they are taken from a single skin
  • skyboxes now work as a single map with 6 sides
  • now you can see what cards are in the skin

Paint editor

  • brush sizes save the selected size
  • added "pipette" tool - now you can easily choose a color by pressing the right mouse button on the desired color
  • added "line" tool
  • added "rotate" tool
  • added "mirror" tool
  • brush size can be changed with "plus" and "minus" hot buttons
  • animation shown on exit from the draw editor

Other fixes

  • Bosses now avoid traps
  • Camera filter is now set to 100% by default
  • Fixed endless use of the mana shrinker
  • Inactive Ascents are now marked with a cross marked with the necessary color for the Ascension
