Hey all, thanks to everyone's help tracking down issues, we're launching this upcoming Monday! Still a couple minor things to fix, but overall it's looking pretty good. If you want the early access 20% discount and have been waiting to buy it, be sure to pick it up soon!

THE FORGOTTEN ISLES! Skulls Beta Update July 23rd
I'm pleased to announced that the Forgotten Isles have been unlocked! The entire single player campaign is now open. Huzzah!
These 4 new levels feature a new story line, as well as the Tanuki monk and gameplay progression - meaning you'll build up your forces as you go and take them with you to the next level. The forgotten Isles are a weird, dangerous place!
Also, we've added a notification tray to help you multitask but still keep on top of your Skulls games. Notifications appear in two cases:
- when it's your turn in a Skulls Anywhere match
- when you've searched for an online match and found a game in the background (to use background searches, anytime you fail to find a game, click "keep searching" to search in the background)
Tray notifications only appear if Skulls is minimized or not the active application. So if you're waiting for your turn or other online players, just minimize Skulls and click on the notification when it pops up.

We'll be starting at 5pm Pacific Standard Time (8pm for you east-coasters, that's GMT-7 for any international players who want to stay up), and go for at least a couple hours.

Fall is here!? Skulls Beta Update July 17th
Big change to your summer: fall is here! In Skulls of the Shogun, anyway. :) Please enjoy the Land of Golden Harvest, but harden your skills... for soon, winter is coming.
Lots of little fixes also included in the update, including a big fix to make the leaderboards more worthwhile - per-difficulty leaderboards! Previously you could play on casual difficulty and your score would get included right alongside the regular normal difficulty, which meant you could get some suspiciously good scores. :) These are tracked independently now. Full fix details below.

Track level clear times separately for casual & normal difficulties, and upload to level specific leaderboards accordingly. Overall campaign clear time reflects proper time based on selected difficulty.

Fix for loading save game in post-collection mode area (like beach 2.3) resetting unit move left.
Remove line of code from attack action from unused code that could *maybe* (albeit not v likely) cause projectile to attack to not complete...
Better detection of whether Steam is running and logging of steam errors
Fix crash that could occur with host existing online match, and when restarting a new match
Prevent crash while showing emblems. Make sure unequip emblem does not show as "locked" and is full color
Transfer cleansing shrine damage targets in Skulls Anywhere to ensure 100% sync and prevent related issues
Fix input handling bug when dialog transitions screen re-triggering dialog (like when using load Game from campaign menu).
Award XP for finishing a season, getting gold skulls, killing Yuki and the Shogun of the Dead

Possible fix for randomly exiting game on start/back button, escape key, right mouse button.
Fix level-specific leaderboards posting bad data

Skulls Online - Background Matchmaking! When you search for a game via Quick Match or Join Custom Match, if it fails the button will change to "Keep Searching". Select that and you'll be able to continue searching for an online match while playing Campaign, Skulls Local, or Skulls Anywhere modes.
Fix missing image in fox spell button tutorial tip
Make Fox resurrect radius match eat/purify to avoid user confusion.
Minor reduction in tanuki action radius down 1 unit for tuning purposes.
Chat window - break up text better so more displays per line, while making sure max width characacters don't run over, tweak sound so it's more noticeable during gameplay.
Possible fix for exiting match unintentially.
Replace russian font because of broken glyph.
Fix bad color tag in Russian Profile Screen Die Again help text
Fix script issue in Bedlam Beach section 2 when loading autosave, could leave dialog on screen.
Team Deathmatch - Display team name under player name in turn start if team mode, Display ??? for team names in Player info dialog on 1st round of Skulls Anywhere game (before teams are set).
Fix teams getting reset in Skulls Anywhere when restarting turn.
Change singleplayer locked warning text - change “multiplayer beta" to "beta” to reduce confusion
