Halloween has come to Skyhook with the biggest update yet! Fight with grappling hooks with a new set of spooky skins and quests.

The haunted crew of the Flying Dutchman has arrived. Unlock these new Hero Skins by completing a new set of Quests.
New Achievements
Can you unlock all the different skins for each character?
Changes
New maps for each stage based on the Champion’s Cup matches.
New quests to unlock the Skele skins.
The Gryphon now shoots three lightning beams instead of one.
Players now keep the same slot when returning to character select. Player 1 will always rejoin the game as Player 1 when selecting characters.

Update #18 - Better Gamepad Support & Fixes
Gamepad Support
The gamepad system in Skyhook has been completely revamped, allowing for a larger list of supported controllers across PC, Mac, and Linux, included the most requested GameCube controller!
Changes
Option to change resolution.
Re-connecting gamepads should now reconnect to the proper player.
New menu for better gamepad customization.
New trophy sprites.
Fixed
Fixed Sudden Death Sky Ball matches not ending properly.
Quest achievements not unlocking for lower tier trophies.
Game not launching at proper resolution.
Mouse aiming not working when cursor is too close to player.

Skyhook has officially released on Steam!
Holy crap guys! After 1 year and 3 days in Early Access, Skyhook is officially a released game on Steam! I still can't believe it either!
Thank you to all the amazing supporters throughout Early Access who helped shape the game into what it is today. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere! I'll be right here supporting the game and working on updates and looking forward to all the hook-related chaos you guys get into here on Steam!

Update #17 - Jaguar Jade & Dark Grimlock
Before we talk about the update, quick reminder that SKYHOOK LEAVES EARLY ACCESS ON MAY 17th!!! That’s only two days away! Holy cat pirates!
When a player has double jump, a small cloud will now appear below them to indicate this ability. You get double jump with the Super Boots powerup, and when holding the Sky Ball.
Changes
Hero skins now have various trophy requirements.
Made all menus wrap.
Stone platforms in Magma Cove now have lighting affected by the lava.
Increased match counts to unlock Frostguard and Grimlock.
Flying Dutchman stage can’t be unlocked until Grimlock is unlocked.
Added support to map gamepad triggers in custom controls.
If a new gamepad presses start, it will replace a box occupied by a CPU player.
The gryphon now has an indicator showing which way it is aiming.
Fixed
Fixed AI standing still when unable to reach it’s target.
Redid Tombs backgrounds to fix sprite bleeding issue.
Fixed hook not always attaching to corpses in the right place.
Fixed player join screen boxes not aligning properly in Quest mode.
Fixed being able to map the same button twice on a gamepad.
Fixed twitch names not allowing special characters.
Fixed game over panels not confirming once cancelled.
Fixed gamepad being stuck in rumble after match ends.
Fixed Team Cursors all showing P1.
Fixed Team Menu cancelling to match settings when it shouldn’t.
Fixed being able to shoot yourself when on a gryphon and using the mouse.
Fixed Random mutator allowing for conflicting mutator.

Update #15.5 - Quest Fixes
Warning: Save files have been moved. In order to fix an issue with new game updates overriding your saved data, saved data has been moved to a different folder. Your old saved Data should still be located at /Skyhook/Saves Dir, so you can copy it over.
New saves directories are
Windows: C:/Users//AppData/LocalLow/Megastorm Games/Skyhook/SavesDir/
Mac: /Users/Admin/Library/Application Support/Megastorm Games/Skyhook/SavesDir/
Changes
Quest levels now show tier requirements for Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
Dying during a Sky Ball Challenge will reset the challenge.
Some improvements to bots jumping off ledges to their doom.
Berserk helmet powerup is now the Super Boots powerup, which grants super speed, a longer hook, and double jump!
When Deadly Dodges mutator is on, players will turn red while dodging.
Fixed
Fixed Tombs of Ra level with missing music and kill boundary.
Sky Ball overtime matches now carry the old scores over.
When changing controls, button sprites will flash while waiting for input.
MVP trophy will only be awarded to winner.
Skin selection chest won’t stay open once a player quits.
Points will no longer show during Champions Cup matches, only time.
Update #15 - The Flying Dutchman
Legend tells of a sky ship crewed by the damned souls of haunted sky pirates, captained by it’s merciless crab leader. With the arrival of Grimlock, the Flying Dutchman has docked off the shores of Kingsfall. Battle across 4 new Versus maps on the tiny platforms of the Dutchman and challenge yourself with 3 new quests atop the ghost ship.
SkyBall matches are now played within a set time limit. If by the end of the time limit both teams have a tied score, the game will go into a sudden death overtime, where the first team to score wins!
Ball Hog, Pacifist, MVP, and Alley-Oop. Play to find out how to earn them!
Changes
New single player quests.
Balances trophy tiers on all quests.
Frostguard and the Gryphon powerup is now locked by default and must be unlocked.
Increase movement speed for the Gryphon and Airship.
New swamplands versus map.
Feline Frenzy now involves killing a Jade bot with 9 lives.
Timer on quests will not start until all bots have finished spawning.
Added Esc key as an option for pausing the game when using Keyboard.
Removed jump SFX.
Disconnecting or reconnecting a gamepad on the main menu will now return you to character
selection.
Lightning effects will no longer flash if Disable Flashing setting is turned on.

Fixed bug with Gryphon Practice Stage showing skulls instead of gryphon eggs.
Fixed bug with unlock alerts not fading in properly.
Fixed bug with same skins unlocking repeatedly if the game isn’t reloaded.
