Mechs are being improved: - There is now a retargeting done when importing animation. You first need to define your idle angles. Then the game will compare both source and target idle angle to apply the animation angles.
- East vs West control scheme: It is now possible to select between two controls scheme: East will pilot like a player, for a dynamic feel like in Japanese animation (hence the name) West will pilot more like a tank.
- New Bust limb option for rotator. The bust will essentially act like a tank turret for West tank: it will follow the player mouse.
- Jump ability. It is possible to jump. Hold the key longer for a bigger jump. This feature will be improved.

[New build - DEFAULT] 24w21a: Power Cell
A new way to power your craft has been added with the power cell (item) and the power cell base (brick). This is mainly to address a gap in powering smaller craft like hovercraft in survival, as using fuel is higher tier and more complex. Place a power cell base on an entity and plug a power cell to it. You can set the base to either charge power or draw power from the cell.
Survival Impact: This build now counts the item bar volume in the total player volume. The base player volume has been increased to 3000L.

It is now possible to transfer fuel automatically when docked: A docking port has a new setting for fuel transfer: None, Refill or Push Fuel.
Character movement has been improved, the lag when stopping moving forward has been fixed.

[New build - DEFAULT] 24w018a: Docking Connector
The docking connector have been given some love.
New texture. The docking status now shows up as a glowing color.
Can initiate a docking manually by using a button when near another dock. The connector will aling the entity and complete the docking procedure automatically.
Can break the docking manually too.
New "Is docking available" event, that trigger when a docking procedure can be started.
New docking alignment setting: locked, 90 degree lock or free. Adjust whether and how the entity should align.
Connect to a screen to view the different status: Off, Docking available, Docking Proceeding, Docked.
docking port now can connect to pipe/conveyor and allows inventory sharing

[New build - DEFAULT] 24w017a: Character Rendering, Hotfixes
The character rendering logic has been refactored: it is now fully integrated to the batched renderer. It means it greatly reduce CPU time and improve GPU performance through culling. This is the first step toward bringing large amount of npc (crews, crowd or mobs) to the game.
