v0.30 Teleport

Hi folks,
a new patch just got released :-) Here is what got patched:


  • You now unlock a fast-teleport point (obelisk) when visiting a location (level) for the first time. You can then simply open the map and click on the obelisk you want to teleport to.
  • [Esc] now closes all open windows but does not show the options window (quality of life)
  • Players now have a 5 second target-cooldown after teleport or resurrection to prevent spawn kills

v0.29 Quality of life

Hi a new patch is out:

Patch notes

  • Added a toggle to turn on/off your headdress (hat, helmet etc.)
  • Improved teleporting from map to fix the freezing bug (let me know if it still occurs for someone)
  • Increased chat message size from 100 characters to 250
  • Chat automatically fades out after some inactivity. It fades in when someone writes a message or you start writing a new one.

Bow Overhaul

In this patch the entire bow-fighting system got reworked:


  • ranged weapons now have an indicator (like a crosshair that shows if an enemy will get hit)
  • bows now have real arrows
  • bows now have an animated bow string
  • new bow idle + attack animation
  • some new bow models


In total it's a nice polish for every player that likes to use a range weapon (especially bow).

Update: Crafting

Dear players,
A new patch has just been released that adds a new layer of depth to the game: Crafting.

You are now able to:


  • Collect materials from enemies and other resources such as ores, plants, etc.
  • Turn raw materials into processed ones at the smithy, workbench and tailoring station
  • Craft weapons, jewelry, and armor


The drop rates of equipment have been significantly reduced, and soon the crafting system may become the only way to obtain gear.

Please be aware that some minor bugs may appear, and the system may not be perfectly balanced.

Update 10. January - Daily Quests

Hi folks,
I patched the game:

- added daily quest system (read below)
- adjusted horses (all horses have same stats to remove some p2w flair)
- new pet movement system
- changed user interface (added globes for life/stamina and added a small window next to the actionbar that shows all important stats and currency amounts)
- added otc as reward for daily quest (read below)

DAILY QUESTS
Every day a new daily quests gets calculated from the server (and gets shared with every player). The quest is absolutely random generated and consists of 3-5 tasks (each task is slaying a random enemy by a random count). As a reward you get gold (random between 100k and 200k) and otc (random between 15 and 30).

The quest can be completed ONCE a day.

You can only see the quest AFTER completing the "main" quest line.

A daily quest is inticated by a red sign instead of an orange one.

Update 5. January 2021 - Shields

Hi folks,
this time I added another highly request feature:





Shields



  • can only be worn in combination with a one-handed weapon (like sword)
  • there are 4 shield items right now (lv. 10, 20, 30 and 40)
  • there is no boar-dungeon-shield (to prevent sword-slayers to get too op)
  • shields get 1.5x more armour then other clothing items
  • shields are not selled by vendors


Other fixes



  • replaced some objects
  • added lv. 15 weapons to bandits
  • fix a bug where you were not able to drop "rare (blue)" items

Update 3. January 2021 - New Weapon Class

Ladies and gentleman,
it has been requested a million times and now I can finally present you the....



Magician


I added a brand new weapon class called Staff.

I will not say much more :-) Just try it out!


Other fixes


- New aiming for bow and staff (one enemy gets hit but no crosshair targeting)
- Fixed empty dungeon
- 20 slots more inventory (your chest items are now in your inventory - you can store them back in your chest)
- during a fight you are not able to change equipment or action bar
- experience and damage calculations are now based on weapon level instead of character level

Update 28. December 2021 - New Character System

Hi folks,
first of all let me say that you will NOT lose any character progress!

New character editor


I was very limited in terms of clothing and animations with the current two players models. So I decided to get that massive rock out my way and use a tool for character creation instead. This allows me to get equipment and animations way more easy!





It also brings some nice additions for us:

  • Morphing (Bodyheight, Weight, Muscles, Nose etc.)
  • Hair styles
  • Hair and Eye Color


Smaller adjustments



  • Characters have eye movement
  • Exisiting equipment got new styles and icons
  • Removed hats (will be replaced with new items soon)
  • Added resolution, quality and fullscreen settings



Notes


I also increased the game engines version to the lastet version so some shader issues could appear (please tell me if and where an issue occures).

Due to the changes some animation may look a bit weird. Right now I'm working in replacing some animations to match the new system.

Update 28. April 2021 - Bow Overhaul

Hi folks,
it was time to change the combat feeling of the bow.

So here are the changes:

  • you now have a crosshair for aiming (turns from white to red when enemy is hovered)
  • you are able to shoot from a way bigger distance
  • visual effect (arrow trail)
  • bows are no longer dealing aoe damage (they are single target from now on). In future there might be some AOE skills


This is a good step into a more action combat-ish feel for ranged weapons and magical attacks.



I also adjusted minor things:

  • fixed inventory bug
  • new hammer attack animation
  • improved network traffic to reduce other player lags
  • fixed an issue where enemies did not attack the player

Update 20. April 2021 - New hat system and balancing

Hi folks,
I'm super happy that so many new players are joining the grind! Yesterday we got over 500 new players in total - that's awesome!

For sure there is new stuff again, so here's what got patched:

New Stuff

  • hats are now part of the equipment (you can drop them from enemies at a low rate of 1%) please notice that hats are still only comestic and do not get any stats (no armor)
  • you can now drop any item in 'legendary' rareness (see chances below)


Adjustments

  • fixed an issue where you got the 'party invitation popup' everytime someone close to your player got invited
  • enemies now attack when you are at a position where they cant go (prevent exploit)
  • fixed tree colliders in jungle
  • fixed quest texts
  • changed value of healthpoints per level from 15 -> 20 (you will see an increase of your health)
  • enemies hit a little less harder when under level
  • fixed an issue where enemy attack damage hits the player even if the enemy is already dead


Drop rareness chances

  • 70% common
  • 27% uncommon
  • 4.75% rare
  • 0.25% legendary
