Hi folks, some good changes arrived just for you! :-)
Here is what just got patched:
new level
level caps increased to 45
new enemies
new weapons to drop
new quests
better enemy fight behaviour
fixed inventory bug where you where able to pickup more items then you could
decreased health added by player level (you will now have less health)
longer day-night cycles (3x)
uncollected drops disappear after 5 minutes
less exp. gained from quests
more exp. gained in general
loose less exp. when died (based on player level)
Please notice then your weapon levels will have gained a boost. This is because of the exp. changes. Your default player level will not be affected. Your weapon level will continue to gain exp when it's the same level as your player level (weapon levels can not gain exp. when the weapon level is higher as the player level).

Update 19. March 2021 - Group System
Hi folks, during the last weeks I worked on the group system. Now you are finally able to slay together in 'Slay Together' ːsteamhappyː
I'll extend the system over time. Here is what is covered right now:
you can group up with 4 players (go close to a player and press [E] key to invite him)
you can attack the same enemies
every player gets exp. and loot
you share your gained experience points with close group players
you get additional 25% exp. and 25% gold while you are part of a group with a minimum of two players
groups stay alive while you are offline
group members have a green name
you can open the group window by pressing [P] key on your keyboard
you can leave a group by clicking on the 'x' Icon next to your playername inside of the group window
every player can invite new group members
This is a really heavy to develop system. Next part of it will be the development of group-dungeons :-) Right now the 'Board Hunting Ground' dungeon is still a solo instance.

Update 05. March - Mounts, Vendors and Defense
Hi folks, this time I worked on something really amazing. You can now actually buy a mount and ride trough the world. I mean Yay - isn't that great?
Simply visit Stable Master Cederic and buy your first horse :-)
Other things I worked on:
added armour stat (mainly found on armor parts)
skills are not longer dropping
buy skills from Librarians in the world (first one is Oriana in town)
new premium currency 'owl tribe coins' for mounts, cosmetics and future functional items
smaller ui fixes
Calculation of defense: One armour stat point reduces the incoming damage by the same amount. Example: You have 10 points on defense and an enemy attacks you with 20 damage → You take 10 damage (20-10 = 10). Rolling: The armour stat is generated randomly based on two factors: a) base level of item b) rarity of item (x1 = common, x2 = uncommon, x3 = rare) c) random multiplier (x0.75 - x1.25)
Example: Sword Lvl. 8 as uncommon with rolled multiplier set to x1.10 Calculation: (8 * 2) * 1.10 = 17,6 armour points
Example: Sword Lvl. 8 as rare with rolled multiplier set to x1.50 Calculation: (8 * 3) * 1.50 = 36 armour points
Example: Sword Lvl. 8 as rare with rolled multiplier set to x0.75 Calculation: (8 * 3) * 0.75 = 18 armour points

Now I start working on a new stat for armor and random stats after dropping!

Update 28. February - Skills Update
Hi folks, this time I worked on the expansion of the existing skill system. I added 4 new skill for an entire new line 'general skills' which can be used with any weapon.
The already existing skills are mostly based on additional damage. but the new skills are focussed on new combat effects:
movement/dodging
damage over time (dot)
buffs
stun
I don't want too spoiler to much. Go and find the new skills! You can drop them from any enemy (only boss enemies are not dropping the general skills):
I also patched some more stuff:
potions now have a cooldown time of 10 seconds
each skill/effect now has it's own cooldown time
bow skill knocks the enemies back (again)
6 new steam achievements
chinese game translation
fixed a bug where player body parts where missing when character got newly created
heal-values now appear as green text on the left side of your character
For the new skill I had to develop brandnew system which we can reuse for new skills. In future adding new skills will be way faster - Soon there will be +20 skills.
Please notice that new elements are missing specific language translations (new skill texts will appear in english). We will collect some more elements and them translate them all at once again.

Update 22. February 2021 - Expansion of the combat system
Hi folks, I just patched the game and this time I focussed on the most recurring negative steam review "simply hold left click".
It took a while to figure out a new system that changes the combat dramatically. But there we go:
you can block now (right click)
you have a stamina bar
sprinting costs stamina
successful block costs stamina
enemies are way stronger
enemies have a way higher chance to drop
enemies give you more exp
So basically you now really have to watch your resources.
Right now I'm working on a new skill system (which will replace the old one) in order to support the new blocking mechanism.
During the upcoming week the entire combat system which have changed.

Update 18. February 2021 - Item Upgrading System
Hi folks, this one was really fun to develop! Let me present you the new upgrade system (awakening system still remains!). Hope you like it :-)
You can now use the grinding stone at the smithy to upgrade your weapons. Each weapons starts with an upgrade level of 0. Maximum level is +10. The current upgrade level is visible behind the item name (e.g. Wooden Sword +10).
Upgrading costs gold and it has a chance to fail (your item will not be broken if upgrading fails).
Here are the odds: +0 → +1 = 100% chance of success +1 → +2 = 50% chance of success +2 → +3 = 30% chance of success +3 → +4 = 20% chance of success +4 → +5 = 10% chance of success +5 → +6 = 8% chance of success +6 → +7 = 6% chance of success +7 → +8 = 4% chance of success +8 → +9 = 2% chance of success +9 → +10 = 1% chance of success
With a +10 sword you gain a total amount of additional 30% of weapon damage.
As soon as you reach upgrade level +1 the weapon starts glowing. The glow gets stronger the higher your upgrade level is (see images):

Hi folks, here is what got patched:
wandering npcs in forest area
wandering npcs in town
visual effect when using heal potion
doubled drop chance for enemies in forest (for new players)
info-system that shows tipps during loading screen
Next patch will contain a new upgrade system and weapon glows :-) May take a couple of days until it's patched!

Hi folks, I just released another update. Here is what got added:
added spiders (see image) and bears as enemies in forest in order to avoid that there are only wolfs
removed bear enemy from harvest-field area and added minotaurs (small, medium and captain). Be carefully they are hitting twice with their axes!

Hi folks, the challenge of this patch was to make Slay Together a more enjoyable game at all.
Here is what got patched:
added dynamic weather
added day-night cycles (see images below)
added portals all over the for travelling from one area to another (please notice that the hub in the town is gone forever - from now on you will have to move through the world and trough different areas to reach your destination
removed the functionality to leave the current area and telport back to town (now you have to walk)
level design (especially in forest area) - see images below
If you die you will respawn in your last area
Now you will actually spend more time in the world. Future plan is to add tons of things to explore, search and collect (crafting).
The "portal-system" gives us a feeling of a way bigger and connected world. However for sure Mounts will soon be added so that you don't have to walk :-)
You can find signboard in the entire world which guide you the way to your desired destination!
