Hey there,
the last patch contained some balancing stuff.

Some things the patch included i changed again:


  • sprinting costs no stamina
  • removed enemies that take more than one hit
  • fixed a bug where you can revive other players when you are knocked out
  • enemies now spawn time after time

Balancing Patch 25 February 2019

Hey folks,
during the week I'll work on some balancing stuff. Actually the game ist too hard for new players and too easy for players who are experiences in slaying villagers.

Here is the overview



  • you'll now gain 20% health at the end of a wave
  • at your first ressurection you will get 75% life back (it will get lower over time but never under 25%)
  • you can now only get revived 2x per wave
  • set fire damage from 15/s to 10/s
  • fixed chat not scrollable
  • potion are now green
  • decreased waiting time until starting next wave from 7 seconds to 3 seconds
  • made skins cheaper
  • hide bought items in shop
  • in wave 1 - 7 you now restore health



Keep in mind that this a living process and it will take time until the game is well balanced :)

Content Patch 22. February 2019 - Boss System

Hello Slayers ːsteammockingː

To improve the gameplay you have wished for a boss-fight system. The idea has matched with our plans and after some very long days of developing I'm happy to tell you that the first version of the new Boss-Fight system is patched.

As always this system is the basic system. Since we are developing the game very close to the community we will now wait some weeks and gather your feedback - afterwards we will improve the system. That's how we are doing it with nearly every stuff in the game. It's called community-driven development.

Patch overview


  • added the boss fight system (every 5. wave a boss spawns)
  • added healthbars for all enemies
  • worked on level design
  • made axes and longswords stronger to push up the playability
  • fixed some smaller issues
  • a player can now only get 3 times revived per wave
  • cleared the ranking because of new systems


Pro-Tip



To slay a boss you may don't want to dodge to far away from him (you may want to dodge around him instead)

Patch 20. February 2019 - Global Chat System

Hello Slayers,
there was a very high demand for a chat system and I am happy to tell you that we have just patched a new version that includes a basic chat system.

As the community and amount of players growth the chat will also get expanded in it's functionality over time.

We also fixed some smaller issues so that the game should run fine now again.

Patch 16. February 2019

Hey folks :-)

This weeks patch overview:

  • added an information system (during the game you will now get noticed when a player dies or leaves a game and when you completed a quest)
  • added the headdress system for the upcoming early access supporter dlc (other free headdresses are planned). This is the first part of the clothing system

10. February 2019 - New weapon skins have arrived

Content Patch 08. February 2019

Hi folks :-)

We have just uploaded a new version that brings you much more content.

This patch contains the very first version of the progress system:

  • added a simple quest system to earn silver coins
  • added the smithy shop where you buy new weapons (please notice that a new weapon does not chang the weapon type stats)
  • created a 3D character selection lobby (later we will add all online companion characters)
  • fixed an invinsible bug
  • cleared ranking


If you find some issues or bugs please let us know :-)
An awesome weapon package will come during the next week!

Keep in mind that this is the earliest version.

Quick fixes

Hi folks,
we already reached 4k players - Within 5 days... I'm so amazed!

Here is the overview of some bug fixes we have patched today while we worked on some upcoming features :-)

  • you should not longer be able to find places where you can attack the enemie while he can't attack you
  • fixed a bug where a new wave did not start when the game host left
  • increased mouse scroll speed in ranking and room list
  • fixed a bug where a companions name label did not get destroyed when he left the game


We also reset the ranking since some players used the first named "bug" to get to a higher wave.

Patch 02. February 2019

Hey there,
here is the overview for the stuff we have patched today :)

The main goal was to increase the difficulty of higher waves:

  • dodging now costs stamina (orange bar over health-bar)
  • heal potion get destroyed after 30 seconds
  • after reaching wave 3 a new kind of enemy starts spawning (he's moving and attacking way faster than the other enemies)


We also reset the ranking to make it fair for new players since it will be now much harder to get higher than wave 30.

First of all, I think we made a really good Early Access start :-) Thank you for playing Slay Together.

Here is the overview for the stuff we have patched today ːsteammockingː

  • fixed ways to get out of the map
  • increased hacking prevention
  • added a music volume slider
  • reset ranking (due balancing)
  • decreased dodge intensity
