Slime Rancher 2 - Into the Labyrinth - Patch 0.6.0 Notes
Our Gordo-sized update to Slime Rancher 2 finally hits Rainbow Island! Players will be propelled into the Grey Labyrinth with an arsenal of new gadgets and vac upgrades. Explore the cavernous depths, discover brand new species of slimes, encounter the unnatural phenomena of Prisma Disruptions, and join Beatrix as her story continues to unfold. Prepare yourselves, Ranchers!
Into the Labyrinth Features Overview
Dive Into the Grey Labyrinth: Enter the mysterious Grey Labyrinth and begin to unravel the mysteries of Rainbow Island. Players will need to rely on their wits to travel deeper into this massive new area, with only the most curious players rewarded for their keen eyes and thoughtful exploration. Solve puzzles, discover hidden secrets, and see where Slime Rancher 2’s story takes our leading lady.
Investigate Prisma Disruptions: Explore the Labyrinth’s depths and come face to face with the phenomena called Prisma Disruptions. These enigmatic, rainbow shimmers appear throughout the Labyrinth to varying degrees. It’s said Prisma Disruptions affect not only the environment, but resources as well. Players should exercise the utmost caution when approaching this beautiful, yet chaotic and dangerous, phenomena.
Encounter Strange, New Slimes: Within the Grey Labyrinth are slimes the likes of which have never been seen in all of the Far, Far Range. Be the first to snag these otherworldly (but still wiggly), new friends. But keep in mind that not every slime can be ranched.
Rancher Upgrades and Gadgets: This update introduces 6 key vacpack and player-specific upgrades in order to enter and safely traverse the Grey Labyrinth. A combined catalogue of 18 new gadgets and gadget variants also gives players the tools necessary to improve their ranching flow and exploration, and expands the roster of decorative gadgets for the Conservatory.

Exploring the Labyrinth will have you journeying through stone paths carved by steady streams of water and molten lava to sprawling towers among the clouds where slimes bask in a soft haze, seemingly engulfed in a never-ending sense of dreaminess. And within its heart someone patiently waits for you…
Prisma Disruptions These kaleidoscopic rainbow energy surges can happen throughout the Grey Labyrinth and warp the environment around them. Some create impossible obstacles, others change the nature of resources they come into contact with. Players should exercise caution when approaching these unstable and mysterious phenomena.
