[p]Fixed crashing and slow down issues on PC and Steam Deck[/p]
[p]Fixed issue where house walls couldn't be edited or dyed[/p]
[p]Fixed issue where placing things for quests can count multiple times for one task[/p]
[p]Mesecina buffs now actually do something![/p]
[p]If you have an older save file, the quest completion means you'll get it on loading your save file[/p]
[p]Path of Myst: Each planted seed automatically +1 star, and each day they are watered (sprinkler, rain, or watering can) they will take one less day to grow[/p]
[p]Path of Connections: all NPC relationship gains will be doubled!![/p]
[p]Path of Prosperity: +15% drop rate, and +40% to get the higher number of drops if there's a range[/p]
[p]This means, if a tree can drop 1-4 Softwood, you have boosted chances of getting more Softwood![/p]
[p]This is unchanged for drops that only drop 1: you will not magically get two[/p]
[p]We are still hard at work on the next patch, so thank you for your patience~[/p]
Stacking Fish, Cooking Improvements, and Sapling Mode
[p]Meowllo![/p][p]We have been busy with stability fixes, QoL fixes, and crash patching.[/p][p]But alongside those, we have also tried to tackle a few gameplay pain points:[/p]
๐ Fish Stacking
[p]You can now stack fish![/p]
[p]Larger fish you had in your save file are converted to 1โ , the rest are unstarred[/p]
[p]Your chance of getting rarer 5โ fish goes up depending on your "Fishing" level[/p]
[p]As you catch more fish, your chances of getting higher star fish goes up![/p]
[p]Just like crops, higher star items sell for more[/p]
[p]You can now use RT on controllers (big trigger) to quickly move stacks from one side to the other[/p]
[p]While using a controller, you can use the shoulder buttons LB/RB to jump between the left side of the panel to the right side in UIs such as the storage container or furnace[/p]
[p]This works when you have something held from one inventory, making it easy to quickly move things around![/p]

Longer Days
[p]Increases day length from 22 real life minutes to 33 real life minutes[/p]
Quest Gating
[p]Limits number of quests that will post on the board each in-game day to prevent feeling overwhelmed by tons of quests[/p]
[p]You can toggle this off at any time, in which your queue of quests will immediately post to the board[/p]
Sapling Mode
[p]Can be picked from the settings card when you start a new game[/p]
[p]Can also be toggled on and off at any time under Tweaks in the Settings menu[/p]
[p]Includes both Longer Days and Quest Gating, as well as 25% increased drop rate and 50% damage reduction from enemies[/p]

[p]We've improved our crash log reports, so when you do crash, make sure to send it! Each report helps us track down issues easily and fix them ASAP! Thank you to everyone who makes a bug report through our form, it helps a lot as well~[/p]

[p]Fixed issue of moving your joystick to close a quest card while in the quest tree on gamepad not allowing you to press subsequent buttons[/p]
[p]Fixed recurring quests not giving rewards[/p]
[p]If you have done the recurring quest before, such as "Fishing with this NPC!" then it will only show up on the quest board if you select the "Villager" category[/p]
[p]Recurring quests will show up again in the Villager category randomly 1-3 days after your last completion date[/p]
[p]Use this to level up your relationships with your favorite NPCs~[/p]
[p]I don't remember how many patch notes or announcements ago it was, but I mentioned how I wanted to make the data and information surrounding Snacko more comfortable to work with as well[/p]
[p]So, the Cultural Center wiki page has an updated Donations list![/p]

Bug & QoL Patch ๐ผ
[p]You know, I've had a few bugs bug me for quite a while now. Here's the big ones that finally got squashed. I hope. Please please please ple[/p]
๐ NPCs Drowning/Missing
[p]NPCs will no longer drown in that one spot that's visible on the map but you can't see them in town[/p]
[p]If NPCs end up having a schedule error, they will just aimlessly wander around town instead, like me[/p]
[p]Just to be clear, some NPCs, like Mikan or Fiona, do have jobs on the mainland, so they will still be gone for periods of time depending on conditions[/p]
๐บ๐บ You've Heard of "No NPCs", What About "Double NPCs"?
[p]NPCs no longer duplicate during cutscenes[/p]
[p]You should properly face the person you are talking about instead of the ghost of a duplicated NPC during cutscenes[/p]
๐ซ Mailbox Quality of Life
[p]If you are unable to invite an NPC due to quest restrictions, instead of hiding the options, you will now see (locked) beside the combination or role[/p]
[p]If you have invited ALL NPCs with the specific role or personality, they will now show (invited)[/p]
[p]I hope this clears up "I got a quest to invite a new friend, but I can't invite anyone (yet)!"[/p]
[p]Letters properly now sort by most recently received; I noticed some letters, especially system ones, were being put at the bottom[/p]
[p]For those having issues playing the game on controller due to Steam Input issues or controllers not being detected, you can now select "force gamepad input"[/p]
[p]This should allow you to use your controller even with Steam Input disabled[/p]
[p]Items in the Cultural Center tracker will now display "???" instead of the item name, model, and description if you don't have the item or if you haven't donated it yet[/p]

๐พ Crash Saves
[p]When you crash, a crash save will be made the last time you changed zones. On restart, you will be asked if you'd like to use the crash save or decline. When declined, the crash save will delete itself[/p]
[p]We have started opening up Community Localization spots. In the past, Law4x has kindly already localized most of the game into Simplified Chinese[/p]
[p]Disables enemies from spawning entirely! This is available under Settings -> Tweaks, and is also a new option on the new game start screen[/p]
[p]Note that you might be unable to complete certain quests/achievements with this on, but you'll still be able to complete most of the game and all of the main story content[/p]
๐ Building
[p]Fixed an issue with Town Houses where going home from inside a town house would cause buildings placed elsewhere to sometimes disappear/unrender[/p][p]Any buildings affected by this bug should now be visible again![/p]
[p]Fixed an issue where barns would unrender when at the edge of the screen[/p]
๐ Other Fixes
[p]Fixed the "Invisible Wall" collision right outside the main farm plot,[/p]
[p]Tiles will now properly water themselves on rainy days, and shouldn't be unwatering themselves when leaving the mines[/p]
[p]Fixed permanent buff descriptions showing "N/A" at max level, will now show the description for the buff at max level,[/p]
[p]Fixed an issue where permanent buffs weren't able to be disabled, such as the Curse buff[/p]
[p]Fixed an issue where it was possible to send items to yourself with the Snack Pack (not intended! sorry!)[/p]

[p]New tutorials and wiki updates are rolling out. I've spent a bit of time last week working on updates so information will be more up-to-date and easier to find. This also includes some mini videos to showcase certain mechanics easily[/p]
[p]We held a community vote on what feature you'd like us to work on next. Cooking UI (mass cook + view cookbook while cooking) won out against Tool Wheel, Builder Kit Blueprint Mode (copy+paste your designs), and Enhanced Map and Quest Tracking[/p]

Cloud Save Issues Update

[p]Since the dawn of time, Steam's Save Cloud has been occasionally messing with some player's save files. If you've experienced:[/p]
[p]Opening the game to realize you "lost" progress[/p]
[p]Not being able to find the saves at all[/p]
We now have a solution!
[p]Each save now gets backed up locally to your device, outside of the reach of Steam's Cloud Save system. If you find your saves out of date, make a backup of the folder just in case, and replace your Cloud Save files with the files inside the _LOCAL folder.[/p][p]Here, I made a picture... [p]On your last played device, access the save files folder using Windows Key + R and pasting in %APPDATA%\\..\\Local\\snacko\\[/p]
[p]Inside the folder, access Saved โ Save Games[/p]
[p]Number only folders (this is your Steam ID) are backed up via Cloud[/p]
[p]If it has _LOCAL at the end, this is ONLY on your local device[/p]
[p]Back up both folders, and copy in the save files from _LOCAL into the cloud folder[/p]
[p]If your Cloud folder rolled back due to Cloud Saves error, replacing it with the LOCAL files will give you the most updated save on the device[/p]
[p]As always, any problems you encounter with saves, we do not delete or roll back save games with our updates. [p]Meowllo![/p][p]This latest update fixes a crash when you complete too many quests through the Guild Box at once, so make sure to get the update![/p][p]Now to the other changes and additions:[/p]
[p]There are now Baby Palm trees on the farm and town beaches! These baby trees do not give Coconut Timber but Hardwood and they have a very low chance of dropping a Coconut[/p]
[p]Palm trees (except for baby palms) can now drop Palm Saplings. Place these like with any other sapling to grow them outside of the desert![/p]
[p]Completing an untracked quest task and completing a quest will now pop up a notification under your map as well as play the task completed sound[/p]
[p]Completing a quest will now auto-track your next active quest instead of remaining pinned on your HUD[/p]
[p]We hope this new addition helps you keep track of what you're working towards even when you have multiple quests accepted![/p]
