THE NEW LEVEL IS OUT! Update 10


Please note: This level is not complete and may contain bugs and have missing content.

It's finally here! Please let me know what bugs you run into! Also this level is not the complete version of the new level, it does not contain all content that will be in the final level. New features in this level such as the more efficient AI and new weapons will be added later to other levels once they have been confirmed to work.

You should expect to see on this level an increase in fps compared to other levels as it utilizes a brand new AI system and new methods of optimization. However this new system comes with bugs and before it is added to other levels I need to make sure all bugs are addressed so please tell me if you run into any issues!

- New Combat System (Melee weapons)!
- New weapons including the stun baton, pictured below, axes, a baseball bat, knives, and much more!
- New AI system, based on testing it is much more efficient then what is in the current levels. The new AI system won't be put in the old levels until I am sure that the system works well.
- Improved hiding mechanic
- Such as hiding in closets
- New puzzles
The premise of the level is, you are robing a mansion that contains well protected antiques. To get this antiques you must complete puzzles while evading traps and guards. To be able to get enough money to leave you must steal from multiple antique locations, so you must complete more then one major puzzle, unlike other levels. Each puzzle will have randomized answers, the guards will have randomized patrol paths and guard locations, weapon locations will be randomized, and loot locations will partialy be randomized. These systems will be implemented after the release of the new level on the old levels once each system is confirmed to work properly.

Update 9

Mostly Bug Fixes a few new additions, most in preparation for the new level.

- On the Bank level if you enter the back room the alarm will sound.
- Tripwires are now more visible, you were not getting shot through walls :D
- Guns are now easier to spot on the yacht level
- Now 2 guns spawn on the yacht instead of 1
- Changed the damage done by guards on the yacht level. It should now resemble a normal difficulty if it does not let me know!

Update 7

Just a small update that fixes some complaints and bugs people have had.
- Guns are now easier to find on the mansion level, yacht level, and diamond heist. (Still not easy but not impossible)

- Fixed issues that could be causing performance issues.

Road Map for this week

Hey guys! I'd just like to outline the updates planned for this week. Currently I am working on a new level so the updates won't be as frequent as last week, however I hopefully will be able to come out with a good amount.

I can't be sure if I will be able to get all this done within the week these are just the goals

Goals/Plans
- More AI fixes (just some small stuff like cleaning up code)
- Make AI more realisitc (methods for distracting AI, Allowing the AI to investigate footsteps, make it easier to lose the AI)
- If I have enough time hopefully release the new level. (I'll be releasing info about it if it is not ready at the end of the week)

Thanks for an awesome first week on steam everyone!


- AI will no longer run straight into you when you are sighted
- AI on the home invasion level no longer freezes
- Improved AI sight/detection
- Fixed the civiian on the bank level with disappearing eyes
- A lot more bug fixes :)
