First playable build now available through Patreon!
Something to share
Hello everyone! We have some exciting news to share with you.
After a difficult year of development, we have finally put together a first playable build of Space Reign in order to start getting some feedback on the game mechanics and let the supporters have an opportunity to have a more direct impact on the development.
How to get it
To get access to this first build and all the development builds to be released, all you have to do is become a Patreon supporter with the Commander pledge.
For those of you who would rather wait and not get involved this early in the development, do not worry, there will also be a free demo down the road!
What does it contain
The build itself is basically one mission in which you will be tasked with escorting a transport ship through a hostile sector, defending it against waves of enemies trying to destroy the transported cargo.
It is not much, but the main purpose of this is to get as much feedback as possible on the core mechanics - ship controls, flight, combat, UI, etc. Strong and polished foundation is very important to us.
What is to come
Starting from today, we will frequently update the development build with new options to test the game, fix any reported bugs and begin the work on major AI update together with ship customization.
Steam page is live!
Brick by brick...
It has been a very enlightening and fruitful experience this past year, since Space Reign is to be the first significant project developed and published by Propulsive Games - our humble, 2-man indie game studio based in Slovakia.
Help shape the game
Because we consider player feedback to be crucial in the development process, you will have an opportunity to test the game during the development and tell us what do you like and what should be changed or tweaked.
Preparations for the initial playtest are well underway - we are currently working on enhancing the UI experience and designing the scenario that you will have a chance to get your hands on.
Make sure to join our discord and stay put for more information.
Consider supporting us on Patreon
There is still a lot of work to do and a difficult road ahead of us before we can actually release the game into early-access on steam, so we would be honoured to have you as our Patreons - which includes a tier that guarantees access to all future playable builds of Space Reign.
Being one of the first also gives you a special opportunity - you can help us come up with a name and design for a ship!
Do not forget to wishlist and join our discord server to stay updated.
