yeah we know it is now the beginning of a new month but also this is not a big update. It is just a bug fix for what we think was the most annoying bug in the game.
The bug which lead to crashes while you were just standing around in the main menu is now finally fixed. So we hope you all enjoy this bug fix since it marks another important step for the game since what would a game be with an interface that leads to game crash, right an unenjoyable game and that is not what we want :).
So have fun playing and as always thanks for playing Space Survivors Shooter.

Update v0.0.90,108 Monthly Update Audio Settings
Hi Space Survivors,
Its again time for a monthly update sadly the update is not as big as i had hoped for well atleast from the content standpoint.
In the background we upgraded the engine to ue4.25.3 from ue4.23.1.
But now to the stuff that affects the game we now have our new ui inplace for the audio settings and extended the functionality there so now you can adjust the the ambient sound volume, the zombies sounds, the round begin sound volume and you also got a master volume setting which defines the overall volume.
We also added the hide HUD functionality to the main menu so you can walk around again and enjoy your camp sanctuary which gets build by leveling up.
So as you can see not that many things have changed but we hope that next month we can get a little more exiting stuff out and maybe fix this crashing bug in the main menu.
Also currently you can't bring the menu back when you hide it we will get a fix for that out soon as well for the esc menu in the game where if you press back you will get to the normal menu and can't resume the game.
Hope you all enjoy the update and as always thanks for playing Space Survivors Shooter.

Update v0.0.90,87 now available (Big UI update)
Hello fellow Space Survivors,
As always it is the beginning of a new month so here is the monthly update. This time it is all about UI, our now new UI designer Felix Gillmann has made a nice looking UI prototype for the main menu which Maurice Fernitz implemented of course we still have some issue with the underlying code (all Slate UI C++) because of the garbage collector. But with the time we will get the hang of it.
So this time i think a normal change log wouldn't really fit this update so here are screenshots how the UI looks in the game.
Btw we are currently looking into the animations stuff (since we want to only make one animation set (full body animation)) so hopefully we can start overhauling that till the end of the year.
So yeah hope you all enjoy the update and as always thanks for playing Space Survivors Shooter.

v0.0.90,76 A new month a new monthly update
Hi Survivors, it is time again, a new month and a new monthly update.
This time we mainly focused on adding depth to the ship map so it is getting ready to replace the current city map hopefully until the end of the year.
So here are the changes we made.
Created the main layout for the 6 floor of the ship
Adding a new ui element to the main menu which show you your level progress
Adding fog to the main menu and the ship map
Fixed ammo amount given by restocked powerup
Fixed the honey badger
So yeah we know it is not much that has changed but still we hope that all of you enjoy the update. Hopefully we have more content for the next monthly update, as an example we are currently working on a shooting range and a new setting ui and the stuff mentioned in the last update patch notes.
Thats all and as always thanks for playing Space Survivors Shooter.

v0.0.90,60 New UI Element / Switching to monthly updates / Roadmap
Hello Survivors,
As stated in the title we are now switching from weekly updates to monthly updates, this decison was not made lightheaded, but since we couldn't provide updates that frequently over a long period of time, we didn't saw any reason to hang on to that rythm. So from now on we will update the default branch of the game at the begining of each month.
The other branches are not effected an will get updates from us when we feel like it but you will be notified via patch notes.
Now let's get to the one change that is in the update. We added a score board / info board / stat board however you wann a call it. It appears if the key is pressed and dissapears if the key is released.
This little board took us very long to make since we hade some major problems understanding the c++ code needed for it, thats also why nothing else is finished for that update but now let's get to the fun part talking about what lies ahead road to v0.1.0:
Completing the info board currently not everything we want to show is in there and also the design needs some tweaks.
Create revive functionality / Bleed out
Shader / texture improvements
Finish first deck on the W.I.P Map
Add M60E3
Add G36C
Add AK-47
Add Barett M82
Add Mossberg 500
New Zombie Sounds
First attachment (flashlight)
So as you can see mainly new weapons are coming and new textures. Of course bug fixing is also stated there but since we don't have any breaking bugs that we are aware off they don't have the highest priority.
We hope you all enjoy the little update and as always thanks for playing Space Survivors Shooter.
With kind regards Developer Team

Update v0.0.90 Soon in the latest_experimental branch
Hi Survivors, I know it has been a while since our last update of our game but no it isn't dead, in the last months my team and me worked very hard on the new v0.0.90 update which will be the biggest update our game has seen yet. As we still have some things to do the main core functionality is nearly ready to be released. We aim to get the version out on the Latest Experimental branch to the end of may.
Hi Survivors, I know it has been a while since our last update of our game but no it isn't dead in the last months my team and I worked very hard on the new v0.0.90 update, which will be the biggest update our game has seen yet. As we still have some things to do, the main core functionality is nearly ready to be released. We aim to get the version out on the Latest Experimental branch to the end of May.
Most of the stuff the update brings, are enhancements in the background but also many new features and some bugfixes.
So here is a shortlist of none background stuff:
3-4 new Weapons (Desert Eagle, Honey Badger, SCAR-H and a Shotgun maybe)
A new Zombie map yes you heard correctly we will swap out the old zity map for a new one which will get updates, new area updates after the update is released to increase the playable area.
A new character model after many tries and some well better-looking characters we decided to give up on making our own character and used one created by make Humans for the player.
New zombie model, here we are using one from mixamo with one animation also from the same platform, but I think we will replace the animations soon with our own one.
New Player animations, we finally added our own new walk animation as well as aiming animation to the character.
Leveling system yeah you read correctly we now have a basic leveling system in place which grants 5xp for every zombie hit and each level you reach will change the look your main menu. This system is just the first stage of what we would like to integrate into the game.
New Settings, we now added a zombie sound slider to the game, which lets you control the volume of the zombies sound also the settings menu is now accessible via the esc menu while playing.
New looking materials, we updated our shaders to be better looking I think you will notice
Hair and clothing for the character
Max ammo powerup
Now we also added the weapons name under the price, so you see exactly which weapon you are buying since we got 3 different desert eagles inside (.357, .44, .50)
So I think I still forgot some stuff to write above since we have done so many things.
