Alpha-monsters Behavior

While there is only one alpha monster in the game - Yeti, others will be introduced back as development progresses.

But the Yeti's behavior has changed! Now he doesn't just attack until he needs to run away, he retreats after a series of attacks. Also, with enough damage, it falls into a rage mode, in which it moves faster and in the future will knock the player down and possibly deal more damage.

If the Yeti has a rock within range, it will pick it up and throw it at the player, be careful. (Getting hit by a rock in the future will also knock you down.)




New Quest System

Many players complained about a lot of running around. Indeed, the journey from marker to marker becomes tiresome.

Now you do not have a specific marker for the quest, you will have to find the location yourself on the map and move there. In addition, there can be two locations where to go and it is not known exactly which of them will be the quest. I think that made it a lot more interesting.

Unfortunately, according to the new system, there is only one quest now - for the yeti, and it has not been completed, but I know you like to hunt more than go through quests :)

GAME BALANCE


  • Alpha monster hears gunshots from 80 meters away (depending on weapon and silencer).
  • Yeti armor can also be penetrated by usual weapons, but 10 times less.
  • First aid kits can be lying around ambulances.
  • The fog is not so dense during the day.
  • In the room, the game starts when the all players are ready (therefore, if you want to play with two, then create a room for two, etc.)


BUG FIXES


  • Doors open from a few meters.
  • A gun with a radio beacon instead of a sensor is not selected.
  • If you sit down, then the Yeti is missing.
  • M18 mine no effects on the client.

  • Optimization: scene capture components that were accidentally forgotten, which greatly affected the performance of the game, were removed from the map.
  • Be careful and look under your feet. Mushrooms appeared on the map, if you step on them, you will receive damage and the effect of poisoning for 10 seconds.



  • A new search tool has been added - a portable sensor that is mounted on a weapon and detects an alpha monster from 70 meters.



  • Added a new map widget with POI markers and captions when hovering over them. You can also use the zoom on the map and set your own checkpoints (other players can't see them yet.)



  • Added the sound of the player getting hurt when attacking a monster.


GAME BALANCE


  • Increased the total number of primary weapons
  • Minion monsters respawn on spawners not after 10 but after 20 minutes.
  • Yeti armor reduced.
  • Reduced AKSU damage from 8 to 7.5
  • Werewolves don't see that far.
  • UAV flies 6 minutes.
  • Global detector removed from game.
  • Slightly lengthen the day.
  • Werewolf minion doesn't run so much in different directions.


BUG FIXES


  • The alpha monster could teleport across the map if it got stuck. It now moves a short distance from the stuck point.
  • Fixed game icon in Windows.
  • Light grenades and mines on the client 5 instead of 3.
  • Wendigo is invisible when attacking.
  • You can see the laser pointer during treatment and after death.
  • Ammo can go to -1
  • Updated all materials in houses - when hitting objects in houses, there will be different effects from hitting.
  • Mouse sensitivity can be set to 0 and the mouse does not move.
  • The laser sight, if the distance to the object is small, shines on the weapon itself.

  • Fixed running animation.
  • Fixed doors (the client could not open the door).
  • Sounds of the monster on the map, although the monster is not there.
  • When reviving a player, if you press E quickly, more than one syringe is consumed to revive a player.
  • Flashlight on the decoy.
  • Missing music and talks at the shooting range.
  • The player quickly switches only to the pistol (previously it was quickly switched to both the grenade launcher and the silver gun).
  • The charge on the silver cannon accumulated regardless of firing.
  • The pistol was replenished with more than 36 rounds.
  • The widget with the name of the quest did not appear on the client.
  • The decoy did not work on the client.
  • When using a decoy, the indicator color did not change from green to red on the client.
