Hello everyone, Connor here from Gentle Giant Games. Our final Beta is now finished and we would like to say a huge thank you to all of you.
Whether you participated in our first Beta back in July or you've just joined us for our December Beta, each and every one of you have contributed to making Spiritfall better. Thank you for playing the game, thank you for your messages and feedback in our Discord, and thank you for all of your support on social media.
This was - by far - our largest Beta and we were delighted to unveil the Astral Cord Bow and the Hidden Rifts on top of all the new blessings, enchantments, and other gameplay and moveset changes.
We are looking forward to sharing what awaits you in Early Access. You will be called upon again in March 2023[
However, if you can't wait that long - We are participating in and offering a demo at Steam Next Fest in February!

Camping: More favorable effective range, bonus damage slightly increased
Scorching Launcher: Now applies 2 stacks of Burn instead of 1 (similarly to Rending Launcher)
Astral Cord Bow
Neutral and Neutral-Air: reduced end lag
Down-Attack: Slightly increased active hitbox duration, slightly increased End Lag.
Side-Air: Fixed an issue that made enemies bounce without forward momentum from the second hit in the attack.
Up-Air: Increased end lag (no longer spammable without consuming dashes or air-jumps), reduced mobility during the active duration, added sweet spot
Sisterhood Gauntlets
Launcher: Increased forward momentum when aiming to the side, increased upward momentum when aiming up while grounded. Side-Air variant of the launcher will keep you in the air slightly before you start to drop.
Down-Air: Slightly increased end lag when landing during the attack, increased knockback scaling on final hit.
Bug Fixes / Other Changes:
Flaming leap Assist isn’t canceled out of its active state when landing anymore (this was unintended)
Fixed a bug that could cause routes to generate dead ends.
Fixed an issue that prevented scrolling the Ordinances menu properly with a Controller
Fixed a crash that could happen when executing an attack just as a weapon is unequipped
Fixed a bug that caused the Camping spirit blessing to calculate the bonus damage incorrectly with projectiles.
Fixed a bug that caused the third reward inside a Hidden Rift to not register if the enemy is defeated during the timer’s overtime (timer already hit 0 but enemy is still airborne)
Fixed an issue that caused the Roninshroom Codex entry to be displayed incorrectly
Fixed a visual bug with Poised attacks that caused random arrows to appear with the poised outline during certain attacks
December Beta Live
Welcome to our final Beta.
Here are some of the changes and new features:
New Weapon: the Astral Cord Bow, boasting incredible range and a versatile moveset.
Hidden Rifts: New room types which can appear on the map and feature combat challenges with significant rewards. These rooms feature a dynamic camera and new enemies to put your Platform Fighter skills to the test.
New Active Abilities: Spirit Assists offer unique attacks to add to your combo arsenal. We are still testing these out and plan to offer a variety of options in future updates (currently there is only 1 per Spirit).
More Content for existing Systems: Spirit Blessings, Enchantments, Skills
Improved Physics and Movement: Reworked knockback formula, diagonal drop from platforms, better collisions.
More QOL stuff: Better performance, resolution options.

Our October Beta has come to an end, and we would like to say a huge thank you to new and returning players who made it such a great success!
Feedback throughout the Beta has been extremely positive regarding the new features and gameplay tweaks and changes since July. We are confident we are on the right track, and we can't wait to reveal more in the coming weeks and months.

Fixed an issue that prevented Wall Traps in the second region from spitting out enemies properly.
Fixed some minor visual errors (such as missing sprites in text, lenghty hp bars, attack indicators).
Sisterhood Gauntlets: Neutral Attack’s first hitbox is slightly extended behind the player, Neutral-Air’s first hitbox is slightly bigger to combo enemies more consistently.
Fixed a room with an invisible Wall Trap.
Wings of Flame doesn’t apply Burn anymore and has slightly reduced damage.
