I was recently made aware that Steam removed their Media Player in the last UI Update replacing it with a Soundtrack Player. Nice thing about the old Media Player is it would automatically scan your installed game folders for any soundtrack albums and add them for you to play. This was how you would listen to the Spirits Abyss soundtrack that came with the game files, but unfortunately the new Soundtrack Player can't do this so there was no longer a way to play the album natively in Steam... until now!
A free Soundtrack DLC has been added to the Spirits Abyss store page which you can activate and will be added to your Soundtrack Player. Just something for those times you fancy the feel of plunging into an Abyss but can't be bothered to boot up the game to enjoy those catchy chiptunes. Enjoy! :]
//bug fixes - An "sAnim" error could sometimes trigger during play. - Restless Adventures: When entering the Fallen Sanctum the camera view would start a bit high. - Olden Trial sub-stage: When receiving a reward the particle effect from the well looked weird as they spawned too low. - Frostal Fields: Icicles weren't being removed if they formed under a Hailstone Whirl enemy which was killed.

In the General Settings a new Display option has been added called Fullscaling. It's a bit of a mix between Fullscreen and Borderless Window so you can set a resolution for the game screen which is shown in the middle of your monitor and then any remainder space around it is filled with black. Useful for if you use an unusual monitor resolution and a cluttered desktop as it's a more immersive version of Windowed mode. Note when set to Fullscaling the Resolution option will also change to Resolution Scaling (which you can adjust) to guarantee that the game screen will always use pixel perfect scaling no matter your desktop resolution.
//other misc changes - Lexicanium Hunt: The child trapped within the Boss will now always be the Clan that last beat it (to create a loop). - Tutorial: It now shows a Confirm button tip when there's talking. - Keyboard Control Settings: When rebinding keys it will now show more accurate titles for unusual keys (eg Delete/Insert keys).
//bug fixes - When using a generic USB gamepad it could sometimes always count as pressing Up-Left. - Compendium: When viewing the Leaderboard it wasn't showing a Back button tip. - Binocularscope item: When using this item in certain levels the view could be moved beyond the level boundary. - Loyalty Card item: In a normal level if there were 2 shops then it would only give you 1 free item.

//misc changes - I went through improving some of the descriptions of the various items that were a bit vague (eg the Monstrous Tome now says exactly how much extra damage it does against bosses). - When picking up an item the popup will now say what type of item it is (eg clan/passive/gear/useable). - Hub: After unlocking the Restless Adventure and Undying Pilgrimage game modes the strange fella will now appear in the hub to give a little flavour dialogue introducing them. - The Cabins Reminiscel game mode is now unlocked by winning an Undying Pilgrimage (instead of having to just randomly stumble upon it). The strange fella will now also be in the hub to introduce the game mode. - When the player actor looks forward/back as the Minesmither/Bonehaunted clan then it will now show their flame animation. - Sealed Domain - Ashen Palace: The floating blocks will now always be normal blocks (eg not haunted so you can freely experiment). - Sealed Domain: When you unlock the fifth Domain Doorway it will now also show the Undying Pilgrimage game mode unlock tip after the Region unlock tip. - Undying Pilgrimage game mode - Overseer Servant: His attack's Damage has been boosted (they were unintentionally reduced in a previous patch which made the Librarium Overseer easier). - Sinners Chambers region: The Damage inflicted by the flying skulls is now slightly increased when playing a harder game mode.
//bug fixes - Most of the various "Domain Unsealed" achievements weren't being triggered (it will now give you any appropriate Unsealed achievements when entering the Hub in case you didn't get it the first time). - Co-Op Input Config: Changing the input via the Escape Menu would cause a crash. - Co-Op Input Config: Pressing the Escape Key when changing an input would destroy the Escape Menu. - Cabins Reminiscel: In the mirror cave room the doorway arch wasn't showing correctly. - Sealed Domain - Ashen Palace: The Skull's collision mask was showing. - Cargo Carriages sub-stage: If one of the carriages had a Treasure Vault then it could spawn a free roaming Mercenary. - Curses Eve sub-stage: Some of the walls/sprites weren't showing correctly. - Restless Realms stage: The screen swirl for the Accursed variant wasn't correctly sized. - Gem Bowls: The items weren't seeded correctly when playing an Abysm Challenge.

//other misc changes - Darkness Vignette: The size and undulation of the darkness that surrounds the game's border has been reduced (to improve visibility). - Entering the title screen will now turn off Co-Op mode (just in case you softlocked yourself by setting a gamepad input which is then disconnected). - Abyss Hub - Co-Op menu: When opening the menu, if player 1 was set to a gamepad that isn't connected then it will now reset it back to keyboard. - Abyss Hub - Co-Op menu: When setting an input you can now press the Escape Menu key to cancel setting one. - Sanctum Outerwall region: The teleporter room now has a few wall variations (like the regular side rooms). - Skull Familiar item: The damage its projectiles inflict now do 1 damage (instead of 0.5 as was a bit naff).
//bug fixes - Abyss Hub - Co-Op menu: Setting the co-op player to keyboard would cause a crash when opening the menu. - Abyss Hub - Co-Op menu: The text was wrong when setting an input. - Abyss Hub: If the compendium leaderboard was set to Speedrun then you viewed the Soul Survivor poster then it would show the wrong leaderboard. - Soul Survivor: The HUD's Score wasn't in the correct position. - Compendium - Beastiary: The Bastion Guardian sprite wasn't correctly positioned. - Sanctum Outerwall region: The teleporter room could wrongly change the theme of some of the nearby walls. - Sanctum Outerwall region: The teleporter room walls would have the wrong theme if the region had the Cold variant. - Sanctum Outerwall region: The teleporter would sometimes not teleport you to the other teleporter if it was far away.

//misc changes - General game performance has been greatly improved (this is largely from a change to how walls are coded so let me know if you see any funky looking walls). - Abyss Hub: There's now a radio you can interact with to change the music in the Hub (to unlock music you need for it to be played during a run). - Abyss Hub: Entering the Hub will now check some meta and give appropriate achievements in case they didn't fire the first time (eg Card/Clan/Region unlocks), as well as update the Achievements menu in case you weren't online when starting the game. - Abyss Hub: The gem slots above the 3 main game modes are now specific to a feat (left = speed, right = score, middle = beaten), so it's easier to see what feats the Clan hasn't yet done. - Abyss Hub: The gem slots around the Clan statue now have more colours so it's easier to see what Clans are unlocked and what feats are yet to be done. - Abyss Hub: The Soul Survivor area now has a poster so you can more conveniently see the Survivor online leaderboards. - Abyss Hub: The achievement pedestal now has a different colour and flame size depending on how many achievements you have. - Lexicanium Hunt: The Sanctum Outerwall level now has a teleporter on either side to make navigation easier. - Clashful Cards: All menus now have button tips which show what and when the Menu Confirm and Back buttons can be used. - Monastic clan: Holding Down when releasing a Bomb will now do a short throw, while holding Up will do the long throw (so it's more consistent with Katanachi). - Slimes Mire region: The large bubbles that float up will now harmlessly pop if they touch a player dummy (eg so you don't spawn inside one after finishing dialogue). - Hushed Monastery: Blowing up the bomb loving creature can now also spawn some of the items that you weren't given by him. You can now also feed him a Blasphem Bombossus item which instantly blows him up. - Telescope/transporter special rooms: These will now only spawn in the top half of the level (so are more useful).
//bug fixes - Abyss Hub: The Cabins Reminiscel completion gems weren't showing correctly. - Abyss Hub: When choosing a Clan the completion gems weren't showing correctly. - Abyss Hub: When changing Clan the gems above each game mode weren't immediately updating. - Abyss Hub: Standing in front of the Adventure/Undying posters wasn't showing the "online leaderboards" help text. - Abysm Challenges: Some events and effects weren't being fully randomised (since the Challenge seed was wrongly being set every frame). - Jumping down through stairs wasn't working correctly. - Haunt Burials region: The Haunted Lantern's trigger range wasn't centered. - Gamester Boutique sub-stage: Buying a Clashful Card from the dealer wouldn't trigger Card related achievements. - Cabins Reminiscel: Exiting this game mode straight to the Abyss Hub was still counting as playing within the Cabins Reminiscel game mode. - Cabins Reminiscel: Using the Watchful Eye item wasn't resetting any special hearts (eg Purity Hearts). - Crooked D6 item: If a Shopkeeper was first angered then the D6 wouldn't work on the shop items. - Gravetender: When waking up a Cursed Gravetender his speech text was showing as black instead of purple. - During a normal stage it was still possible for the music to play the same song twice in a row.
