We've been working super hard these past few months in making Spirittea the perfect game it can be, and we couldn't have done it without your help! Demo players and alpha testers, your feedback and bug reporting has been invaluable so for that, thank you!
We know you're in SUPER high spirits (pun intended), because 13th November is not long away at all! But don't worry, to tide you over in the meantime, we're gonna be running some really cool games in the official Discord from next week, where you can win lots of Spirittea related prizes! We'll post more about that later this week, but be sure to join the Discord in the meantime:

HURRAY! Specifically, we'll be revealing the date on YouTube at 8am PT / 4pm UK time on October 25th
We want to thank you all again for your support, we couldn't have done it without you! Looks like we might be giving you more than JUST a release date announcement! Guess you'll have to check back on Wednesday to see what it is...
We're ever so close to launch and we can't wait to see every single one of you there on release day!
So here's the deal -- we're currently sat on 98,000 Steam wishlists. When we hit 100,000 wishlists, we will reveal the launch date for Spirittea.
So we need your help to get there! Here are some ideas for what you can do to help us reach our goal:
Make sure you have the game wishlisted on Steam!
Tell your cozy game loving friends to wishlist!
Make Steam accounts for your pets! They need to see Radish the cat and Jan and Maru the dogs!
Find all the spirits in your house and make sure they have accounts to wishlist too!
Tell your favourite influencers that you can PET the animals!
1 wishlist = 1 pet
If we can make it by next Monday, we'll drop the launch date next week.

We FINALLY made it! After lots of hard work and development behind the scenes, Spirittea has gone GOLD, which means development on the game has finished, and we're so proud of how our cute, cozy game has turned out! We could not be more excited and we know you all have been waiting patiently for this news, and now we're very nearly there!
We firstly want to thank all of you so much for the hype, support, and endless feedback you've given us along the way. Thanks to you, we've been able to implement your feedback and make Spirittea an even better game during development. This one's for you!
Now, I bet you all have some big questions, but I'm sure the biggest is:
WHEN ON EARTH IS SPIRITTEA LAUNCHING?
Well, to clear up one thing, we're DEFINITELY launching this year! But don't worry, because you'll be finding out the exact date VERY SOON! Be sure to keep an eye out in this space because we're going to be sharing more details with you in the coming week.
We hope you're all as excited as we are! Thank you again for following us on this incredible journey, we're so proud of Spirittea and we cannot wait for you to get your hands on it at last!
We're introducing you to another spirit! Last week, we introduced Morinoba, which you can check out below!
Our next spirit introduction is... Tikan!
It is hypothesized that the gradual movement of Tikan to an area is responsible for the coming of winter. Tikan are very old spirits that have walked the earth for millennia.
If you encounter any especially aggressive snowmen in winter, then Tikan might be the one to look out for...
Tikan is a fabulous looking smaller spirit who will only appear in winter, so keep your eyes peeled on your usual winter stroll, and don't get hit by any snowballs...

Previously, we've touched upon how important the environment is and how things are easily hidden away, so we thought this is the perfect time to briefly touch upon Spirit Vision!
As we mentioned, there's gonna be things that will look suspicious or out of place, however some of these things may not always be in plain sight!
When walking around, be sure to be tapping into your spirit vision often - some things will remain unseen and you'll have to use your spirit vision to spot them!
I wonder what's going on here?
Quests on unusual happenings won't always be from speaking to someone in town, you'll encounter them naturally on your travels, so be sure to check in with your spirit vision here and there while walking around!
Be sure to stock up on tea leaves from Tifa so you have plenty of Spirittea to drink when your spirit gauge depletes!

Dev Update - Meet the Spirits: Introducing Morinoba!
Hey everyone!
It's update time, and it's time for introductions to another spirit!
In our last update, we introduced Coronis, so be sure to check that out below!
Next up on the list... it's Morinoba!
Much of the folklore surrounding witches can be attributed to the work of Morinoba. This spirit enjoys the rich scent of wood and can often be found in forests.
Any suspicious vegetation coming from any bathtubs in town may be the work of Morinoba...
Morinoba is a bag of old bones, but she is of a decent size, so she'll need a generous amount of space in your baths! As you can probably tell, some of these spirits aren't the smallest, so it may be worth thinking of unlocking bathhouse upgrades as early as possible!

For this update, we wanted to talk a little more about the environment and why you should stay alert while walking round town.
You will of course have lots to do in Spirittea, including quests from your friends in town, and while starting some quests may be as simple as speaking to someone, others may sneak up on you in different ways...
The environment is a big part of that! The spirits are up to no good and hassling the people in town, however some of them may be getting up to other antics, so it's a good idea to keep your eyes peeled when walking around to see if you can spot anything strange or odd, for example...
WHY ARE THESE SNOWMEN ALIVE AND WHY ARE THEY PELTING ME WITH SNOWBALLS?!?
You'll start to notice things as the seasons change too, whether it's the environment or wildlife, so keep an eye out once they do and see if you can spot anything untoward...

Dev Update - Meet the Spirits: Introducing Coronis!
Hey everyone!
We're back with another update, and we're introducing you to another spirit!
In the last update, we introduced you to the adorable Borzo, so make sure to check that out if you haven't already!
The next spirit on the list is... Coronis!
When a structure carries more weight than it is suited for, it vents its frustration by exhaling a Coronis. They tend to dwell in old very lived-in buildings.
If you find any crows around town are behaving suspiciously, Coronis might just be the culprit...
He is a big boy and will need a fair amount of space in your baths, so make sure to leave plenty of room for him! He's gonna want to have a nice relaxing bath after carrying around that weight all day!

Dev Update - Game Engine
Hi everyone, it's time for another update!
So this update is a small and quick one, and is slightly different to the previous ones we've done, but in light of recent circumstances surrounding Unity's game engine, we thought it'd be a good idea just to update you on whether that means anything for Spirittea.
Thankfully, Spirittea is being made using the Game Maker engine, so there won't be any disruption to development, and we are still on track for launching this year!
We know there's been a lot of talk and nerves floating around with the future of a lot of games, so we wanted to ease those nerves and reassure you that Spirittea is still very much in active development, and we're working hard to bring you a game that we know you are going to fall in love with!
We're getting closer and closer to launch, and we cannot wait to share our plans with you!
