So we've been giving you spoilers of everything you can find in Spirittea, including the hobbies, townspeople, bathhouse and much more, but we realised there's one thing you've not gotten to know much of... and that's the spirits!
The spirits of course are a huge part of Spirittea, and while we've only touched on them briefly, we wanted to give you the chance to get to know some of them! Each spirit has its own unique and mischievous personality, alongside some lore as to how they come about!
So, to kick things off, we're giving you the chance to say hi to... Borzo!
It is believed that a Borzo is born when a ball has received an overabundance of love from a dog. Borzo are friendly but can get involved in devious deeds if they spend too much time with troublesome spirits...
Borzo is a Fall spirit and TOO CUTE, I wonder which person in town he's got his eyes on hassling! With that cheeky looking face, we'll have to keep a close eye on him...

Dev Update - Karaoke
Hi everyone!
We thought for this update, we'd delve a little more into the various hobbies in Spirittea. There are many activities and mini-games you can take part in around town, whether it's fishing, digging, cooking and more! You won't be short of activities to do in Spirittea, whether it's alone or with a friend!
But for this update, we wanted to show you a sneak peek into Karaoke!
You'll find a cute Karaoke bar in town, where you can go and play the Karaoke mini-game! You'll have a variety of songs to choose from, so make sure to choose the one that best brings out your vocals! This mini-game will get challenging as you play, but with practice, you'll be smashing it in no time!
If you're ever feeling in the mood for a duet, then take a friend along with you and you can sing your hearts out together, and beat each other for the highest score!
Everyone around town has specific hobbies they like to do, so once you get to know them and make friends, you'll know what hobbies they like to do so they can tag along with you!

Dev Update - Early bird or night owl?
Hi everyone!
It's update time, and today we wanted to talk to you a little more about the freedom Spirittea gives you to play however you want, and that includes when you choose to sleep and stay awake!
Your schedule in Spirittea is ENTIRELY up to you, so if you want to be an early bird and wake up in the morning to do all of your daily activities, then go ahead! But if you prefer to sleep during the day and wander about at night, then of course you can do that too!
As long as you get the right amount of sleep for your fatigue, you can do whatever you like whenever you like, whether it's during the warm day or the cool summer evening!
There'll be plenty of secret things about that you'll only be able to find at certain times, especially at night, so it might be worth going for a bit of an evening stroll. I wonder what this could be...
The bathhouse has no limits either, so if you prefer to work in the bathhouse at night, then by all means take on the night shift!
Some of the people in town are night owls too, so you'll spot them hanging about and enjoying the quiet evenings.

Dev Update - Friendships
Hi everyone! It's update time!
For this one, we wanted to talk to you about something that we've recently made changes to, and that's FRIENDSHIPS!
You're gonna be spending a lot of time with the locals around the town, so naturally being new to the area, you'll want to make some new friends!
But we wanted to take it one step further, and make it obvious how well your friendship is going with someone. That's why we added a friendship bar!
So now, rather than trying to guess how well it's going making friends with someone, you can see for yourself!
There are plenty of ways raise this bar - through hobbies, and even just general chit-chat! Each person in town will have their own unique friendship bar, and you'll be able to keep track of all your friendships in the game's menu too.
Now it's even easier to make friends, and you can get to know everyone in the town with ease!

Dev Update - You've Got Mail!
Hi there!
It's time for another quick update!
As always, we've been working hard behind the scenes to make sure Spirittea is as perfect as possible at launch, whether that means changing things, and of course adding new features which we think you'll all love!
So we thought, why not make Spirittea feel a bit more personal and real? With hobbies, making friends, owning and decorating your house, it's not so different from real life after all! Minus the mischevious spirits on the loose, of course...
With that being said, we added a mailbox outside your house, which means the village locals can write to you and leave you very nice messages!
You'll get mail daily from everyone around town, and you'll be able to read all the nice messages the villagers have left! Whenever you have new mail to be read, the little flag on the mailbox will flash.
Whether it's an invite to her shop from Song, or an invitation to go bug catching from Sujin, you'll always be able to stay in touch with your newly made friends!

Dev Update - Supported Languages

We've got another update for you - this is a small one, however it's probably something you've all been wondering and you'll want to know in time for launch!
We've got certain languages that will be fully supported when Spirittea launches, and because of the nature of the game, there were some languages we just HAD to make sure were there!
The languages that will be available in Spirittea at launch are:

Dev Update - Lord Spirits!
Hey everyone! It's time for a little Spirittea update!
First of all, we want to thank each and every one of you who has played the new Spirittea demo and shown us so much love to the new changes we've made since the last demo! We took a lot of your thoughts and feedback into account and we've been working hard behind the scenes to make sure Spirittea is everything you want it to be, so from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
We've also had a lot of new people showing Spirittea lots of love, we're so happy you're here and we cannot wait for you to get the hands on the full game! If you haven't played the demo yet, make sure you do, because this is probably the last chance you're gonna get to play Spirittea before full launch... 👀
But just to tide you over, we wanted to talk to you about Lord Spirits, including a sneak preview of one!
Lord Spirits are just like any other spirits in Spirittea, however they are rarer, and a LOT bigger! Finding these spirits will be more of a challenge, and you'll need to make sure you've got big enough baths for them, as they won't be happy with sharing!
Here's a sneak peek of a Lord Spirit, the DRAGON:
He's a hungry fellow, as are all the other Lord Spirits, so be sure to stock up and keep them well fed!
We can't wait for you to discover all the other Lord Spirits in the game, be sure to keep a firm eye out and have those big baths ready! We'll see you soon!

A BRAND NEW FREE Spirittea Demo is coming!
Hi everyone! We've got some EXCITING news to share with you!
We know you've been longing for more and more Spirittea, and we've been working hard behind the scenes to bring it to you - we've finally got a BRAND NEW demo for you to try!
We received a lot of feedback and opinions from you all regarding our last demo, including what changes and features you'd like to see, so we've taken various things on board and implemented and added a lot of new additions to the game which we're so excited for you to see and try out!
We've overhauled the beginning of the game based on your feedback, and here's what new things you can expect to find in the demo:
Added an extra full day to play, so you have more time to get to know the townsfolk!
Changes to the spirituality mechanic in the bathhouse
Expanded on the tutorials so you can navigate around Spirittea better
This new demo is coming VERY SOON, so keep an eye out here - this might be your last chance to play Spirittea before launch!

Hey everyone! Did you see us in the Best Indie Games Summer Showcase??
If you missed it, don't panic! We've uploaded it here for you to showcase the incredible work that's gone into building the spirits!
The spirits are a HUGE part of the game, and you will often need to pop your detective hats on and solve some mysteries! The finishing touches are being put on these, so enjoy an early look at some of my favourites!
