Plans for Subdivision Battles

[img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/ca92cfecb9707dd445e2f086a3801371bc3bbe0a.png"]Intro

[p]Subdivisions have been neglected for quite some time, and we have long made plans to gradually upgrade them.  [/p][p]We have now decided to focus on updating Subdivision Battles and its modes, as this is the main activity for subdivisions currently. [/p][p]In this article, we'll go into more detail about the changes awaiting players, and also try to explain why certain decisions were made. [/p][p]After the update of Subdivision Battles, we will undertake a redesign of the entire subdivision system.[/p]

Disclaimer

[p]All materials represented do not reflect final results and may be changed! [/p][p]Some of the described mechanics may be changed by the time the update is released or removed from the update entirely.[/p]

Brawls

[p]Let's begin with the most popular Subdivision Battles mode — Brawls. [/p]

What challenges we faced:

  1. [p]Subdivision Battles is content with a fairly high entry threshold, as it requires numerous participants and most importantly, the experience of playing participants; [/p]
  2. [p]Many people are lacking massive clan content, but some don't want to accept a need to get involved in politics;[/p]
  3. [p]Long wait for the game — losing the first fight — no awards — sleep.[/p]

So what solutions have we come to:

  1. [p]Subdivisions of 15 participants or more will be allowed to enter Brawls;[/p]
  2. [p]Bracket is formed with 16 subdivisions, which are split into groups of 4;[/p]
  3. [p]There are no losers. Each subdivision will play 3 matches;[/p]
  4. [p]During the match, subdivisions earn capture points, from which they will share in a percentage of the stage's prize pot;[/p]
  5. [p]From stage to stage, subdivisions will be re-grouped on the basis of top of earned Crimson Casings within the current bracket.[/p]
[p]We expect these changes to help advance those subdivisions with few participants and little understanding of internal politics.[/p][p]At the same time, the changes should also satisfy those who consider themselves experienced and strong enough to enlist someone else's support. [/p][p]Now you can play 1vs3 and still get your piece of the pie!   After the first defeat, forget about the word “sleep”. No more losses — only matches.[/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/7d3109645ea36d70bc76b9c15b82a2ef8560dd77.png"]Brawls reworked bracket view[/p]

Tournaments

[p]Moving on to content for esports players — Tournaments.[/p]

What challenges we faced:

  1. [p]A matchup of opponents of too different power within the bracket; [/p]
  2. [p]There is no redistribution of rankings between closely matched subdivisions because they do not intentionally face each other;[/p]
  3. [p]Rewards levels do not correlate with the opponents' power level or their labour input in battle, but remain at the same level for everyone;[/p]
  4. [p]Trying so hard doesn't pay off when you lose;[/p]
  5. [p]Long wait for the game — losing the first fight — no awards — sleep.[/p]

So what solutions have we come to:

  1. [p]Bracket participants are matched as closely as possible by their ranking level;[/p]
  2. [p]According to the rank of the strongest subdivision, the reward level for all stages of the bracket is set;[/p]
  3. [p]An effort reward appears, which is obtained if a subdivision scores the minimum required capture points and loses;[/p]
  4. [p]All subdivisions play three rounds. The results of the match will determine which group the subdivisions will qualify for in the next stage;[/p]
  5. [p]The draw as the outcome of the match was removed.[/p]
[p]We'll talk about ranks a little later, but for now, one thing is important:
- The higher the ranking of opponents in the bracket — the higher the rewards for stages in this bracket. [/p][p]What are the groups, and how will everyone play the three stages anyway?
- It's simple. Initially, 8 subdivisions close to each other by ranking are selected for the bracket, starting with the strongest ones.
Then they are randomly paired with each other and play matches in the 0-0 group (win-loss score).
At the end of the match, the subdivisions are divided into 1-0 and 0-1 groups, where they are again randomly paired with each other, they play again and get into the next 2-0, 1-1 and 0-2 groups.[/p]

Thus, the bracket results are as follows:

  • [p]3-0 | Subdivision won all matches in the bracket. Good job![/p]
  • [p]2-1 and 1-2 | Subdivisions performing well in the bracket.[/p]
  • [p]0-3 | Subdivision lost all matches in the bracket. Looks like it was their bad day.[/p]
[p]Even if you lose all matches in the bracket, but show results, you will still get Crimson Casings, treasury and other rewards.
And losing in higher ranked brackets can be just as valuable as winning in lower ranked brackets. So there will always be motivation to strive for a level of play with more challenging opponents. [/p][p]Top players may justifiably point out that high-level brackets will have the most sweat and exhausting battles, and they would be completely right.
We do fear that this could happen, and the top subdivisions will exhaust themselves, but that's why the S ranked brackets will be the most valuable, and the season rewards even more valuable. [/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/8d98cafb8c329b1700cca8674e170bff75b9c11e.png"]Tournaments reworked bracket view[/p]

Rating seasons and ranking system

[p]Before we move on to the rewards, it's worth discussing how the approach to rating seasons will change, and what changes will happen to the rating itself. [/p][p]There will be a lot of nuances and complex information here, but it is important for understanding the whole idea.[/p]

Ranking and season issues

  1. [p]Seasons start with a zero rating, causing large rating swings in the first few weeks;[/p]
  2. [p]There is no save of rankings between seasons so that when a new one starts, everyone isn't thrown into total battles;[/p]
  3. [p]Ranking seasons have to be held in a few months to allow the rankings to become representative;[/p]
  4. [p]Simultaneous holding of several rating events. For example, when the subdivision ranking season and the event ranking are going on at the same time.[/p]

Appearance of ranks

[p]There will be a total of 6 subdivision ranks:[/p]
  1. [p]S | Best 8 subdivisions of 2000 rating;[/p]
  2. [p]A |  > 2000 rating;[/p]
  3. [p]B | 1750 - 1999 rating;[/p]
  4. [p]C | 1500 - 1749 rating;[/p]
  5. [p]D | 1250 - 1499 rating;[/p]
  6. [p]| 0 - 1249 rating.[/p]
[p]A subdivision is initially assigned a 1000 rating (E) the first time it participates in the Tournament.  [/p][p]During the ranking season, a subdivision gains/losses ranking when participating in Tournament matches.  [/p][p]Ranks affect the reward levels in the Tournament bracket stages, and the rewards at the end of the ranking season.[/p]

Start of the rating season

[p]With the start of the rating season, the rating is reset as follows:[/p]
  1. [p]All A and S level subdivisions are reset to 2000 rating;[/p]
  2. [p]Lower level subdivisions are reset to the lower threshold of their level if they have not participated in at least 3 game days during the season;[/p]
  3. [p]If a subdivision is at the lower threshold of its level and has not played 3 game days, it drops to the lower boundary of the previous level;[/p]
  4. [p]D subdivisions are reset to 1000 rating;[/p]
  5. [p]Tier E subdivisions are not subject to any rating changes from season to season.[/p]

Requirements for season rewards and game day scoring

[p]The subdivision must meet the requirements to receive the season reward:[/p]
  • [p]50% of rating days must be counted as game days;[/p]
  • [p]A minimum of 40% of the subdivision stages have been attended.[/p]
[p]A day is counted as a game day for a subdivision when at least one stage for that day was counted as something other than a runaway.[/p][p]A stage counts for a particular subdivision as a runaway if one of the following conditions has been met:[/p]
  • [p]Less than 30 players were killed on the stage in total. In this case, runaway counts for the team with the most points scored below;[/p]
  • [p]A team scores less than 10% of the total capture score;[/p]
  • [p]No tent was purchased;[/p]
  • [p]A tent was bought but not placed/not taken out by an enemy player;[/p]
  • [p]Fewer players entered the stage than the minimum required for registration.[/p]

Off-season

[p]Off-season is a period of time outside the active ranking season during which Tournaments do not change rankings, rewards are set at the same level, and opponent selection is once again randomised. [/p][p]It's necessary so that players and subdivisions can take a break from the intense wars, make player substitutions, accumulate resources before the new season, and distract to the season event. [/p]

Rewards

[p]Well, now the most delicious part! What's the point of all this fuss, and when are the guarantees coming?! [/p][p]We will not disclose absolutely all the rewards that await you, but we will tell you about some of them.[/p]

Dividing rewards by recipient

[p]As before, rewards remain to be given to the subdivision and its members, but we also plan to give rewards to leaders as well.
We are currently planning to issue some amounts of game currency, which the leader can spend at their discretion: to strengthen the equipment of their fighters, save money for the production of consumables or spend it on themselves for their labours. [/p][p]We will be actively monitoring money flows and how the leaders decide to manage it. Remember that big brother is…[/p][p]It's a foundation that will help us issue more rewards and resources for you in the future.
[img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/85928d8c9a6f8ea143ff5d863c7f59a84045dc8a.png"][/p]

Rank rewards

[p]As you may have noticed, we've dropped the faction top rewards. Subdivisions now participate in the overall scoring among all factions. [/p][p]Each rank will have its own level of rewards, and the S rank even has numbered positions that will earn distinguished numbered rewards. When released, these should be the Season Cups for your Hideout. [/p][p]The most important and valuable reward at the end of the seasons will be crimson tokens (the current crimson tokens are not the tokens that will be on release.   You'll need to spend them by 21.08.2025, or they'll burn up!).
The higher your rank, the more tokens you get. You'll be able to spend them for a guaranteed weapon and attachment if you're missing part of the blueprint or if you don't have any at all.[/p][p]In addition to the above-mentioned cups, we've got one new weapon in the case for Crimson Casings, cool charms, and something special: styles for Albatross Heavy Assault Armored Exoskeleton and Gauss Rifle![img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/2d37570c7db69d36cad0c9ed74be4318177a85b5.png"][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/21e5de1f2e2cfa236ee72e0b94bf9edf3d7b38f5.png"][/p][p]Styles will be the most expensive items in the subdivision shop, which are purchased with crimson tokens.[/p][p]We will be adding new customisation items to the subdivision shop in the future.[/p]

Base captures

What challenges we faced:

  1. [p]Take too long and exhaust the participants;[/p]
  2. [p]Hardly doing a good job of confronting the top subdivisions and redistributing the rankings between them;[/p]
  3. [p]The subdivisions involved in the ranking race are additionally loaded.[/p]

So what solutions have we come to:

  1. [p]There is no rating change on Base captures;[/p]
  2. [p]Participation in Base captures is not obligatory. Removed the 160 rating penalty for not attending the mode;[/p]
  3. [p]All subdivisions that have at least a unit of rating are eligible to participate in Base captures;[/p]
  4. [p]All four bases are being captured at the same time;[/p]
  5. [p]The maximum number of participants of each base is four;[/p]
  6. [p]Changed the format of the bracket. A “second chance bracket” has appeared.[/p]
[p]Let's start by explaining how registration to the mode works now: [/p][p]Any subdivision with a rating can prioritise the bases they qualify for in the registration window and then submit a request for participation.
When registration closes, the system will start assigning subdivisions to bases according to their ranking and priority.
In other words, if you are the highest ranked subdivision among all, you are guaranteed to participate in the base capture that you put as the first priority.
The TOP-16 ranked subdivisions will be selected from all those who have applied and will be distributed to the bases.
Subdivisions that did not make it to the Base captures will be refunded their registration costs. [/p][p]For the off-season, the rating obtained in the previous season will be relevant. Registration to the mode will be based on it. [/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/d310dc4935d2a54f0b6efd4969f9f5e8adc3c6c4.png"][TAG-440]View of the redesigned Base сaptures registration screen[/p][p]It's pretty simple with the bracket. We rejected the “Losers are out” format in favour of “Losers move on to the second chance bracket” to reduce the overall time of the mode, but to preserve the opportunity to win back for those who came in with “their monitors off” in the first stage.
However, there is an unpleasant moment with the fact that the winners of the upper bracket will have to wait for the “losers” in the third stage to decide who is worthy to go to the finals. We hope this does not create much discomfort. [/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/6496674572f577edcef9dfe35fade9cd1365664a.png"][TAG-450][/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/868abd75db9e975708bda1cf3cca32bcf03e5ca7.png"]Base captures reworked bracket view[/p]

Other updates

[p]In addition, an updated subdivision leaderboard awaits you, where you can see the history of the tops over the past seasons.[/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/25a843b3174b11c43f4c4430e80290f2aa136927.png"]View of subdivisions leaderboard in the overall ranking[/p][p]A history of your matches and your subdivision's matches will be added. You'll be able to expand each bracket and see the participants and the outcome of the battle. No more screenshots will be necessary.[/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/ecdf9cb90d76108b7d5ffec99623e818063d4471.png"][/p]

When is the release!?

[p]You know that we don't like to make promises about release dates, as unforeseen circumstances can occur during development that shift the release dates of updates.
We realise the importance of this update and want to release it with as few problems as possible. So there can be postponements.[/p][p]For now, we believe in September of this year.[/p]

Afterword

[p]That's it! Share your thoughts and ideas. Tell us what you liked and what causes you concern.
We hope you enjoyed it all and look forward to some good feedback! And remember, this is just the beginning…[/p]

What are they preparing for? And what will the second week bring us?[/p]

Military patrols

[p][/p][p]
Military patrols are showing up in the most unexpected places — like someone’s moving figures across a chessboard.[/p][p]There are no safe paths in the South any more: helicopters roar overhead, radio chatter hisses constantly, and soldiers can be around any corner.[/p][p]But the North is not left out either. It seems the military found a way to get in there — rumour has it they struck some sort of deal with the Frontier. They have settled now: patrols are seen more frequently, and they’re reportedly stationed near the Barrier area.[/p]

Consumables increased prices

[p]Attention, all Zone inhabitants! Military operations have severely disrupted supply lines — shipments from the Mainland are dwindling, and factions are already feeling the shortage. Prices are rising, and traders are feeling the pressure. If nothing changes, it won’t be anomalies that destroy us — it'll be inflation.[/p][p]Consumable prices have increased across all locations (except the Swamps and Frontier Base):[/p]
  • [p]Roadside — +10%[/p]
  • [p]The Bar — +25%[/p]
  • [p]North faction bases — +50%[/p]
[p]Thanks to the military, supplies at the Frontier northern base were not compromised.[/p][p]The changes also affected Session Battles.[/p][p]The price increase is temporary — once supply routes from the Mainland are restored, costs should normalize.[/p]

Temporary questlines

[p]Gunfire echoes through Forge-11, helicopter blades slice the sky — the military has entrenched itself in the North. Everyone pretends to be in control, but no one truly understands what’s happening.[/p][p]Each faction has its own version of the truth, its own deals, its own goals. Some are trading with the military, others are on a watch, many are just trying to survive. But there is one thing that unites all: a growing sense that there is something more behind this invasion.[/p][p]What is the military really after? Why are they acting so cautiously — yet with unwavering resolve?
You’ll have to find the answers yourself.

Temporary questlines are now available — unique for each faction. They unlock after completing the southern Call storyline. You’ve got two weeks to complete them.[/p]

Improvement of the season tasks interface[img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/3eb93bf735d7018536a6d19fe962e20288ac4908.png"][TAG-102]

[p]We considered your feedback and improved the interface of season tasks: we fixed a number of bugs and made adjustments to make it more informative.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed bug with missing task counter for weekly bonus for non-premium players.[/p]
  • [p]Weekly bonus rewards can be manually claimed. This prevents confusion when awarding them.[/p]
  • [p]Improved readability of a number of inscriptions on the season tasks screen, they are now brighter and more contrasting.[/p]
  • [p]Daily rewards receiving button is now highlighted. Also, the texts on the button have been changed to make it more informative.[/p]

  • [p]Centred the text of the category descriptions.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the premium description on the season tasks screen and in the shop.[/p]
  • [p]Updated sounds in the season task menu.[/p]

  • [p]Expanded the list of locations to complete the Mutt Den task.[/p]
  • [p]Corrected the description of the Overdrive item.[/p]

Changes to daily tasks

[p]Some tasks after the update caused bugs or created the possibility of receiving rewards unfairly, so they were removed:[/p]
  • [p]Ending the combats;[/p]
  • [p]Shooting at heads;[/p]
  • [p]Placing barricades.[/p]
[p]Instead, there will be new tasks in the future! [/p][p]We have plans to keep adding and updating the list of activities, giving you the opportunity to earn Season Pass points for activities that don't currently give them.[/p][p]Thanks to your ideas, we will continue to fix and improve the Season Pass.[/p][p]In addition:[/p]
  • [p]A number of balance adjustments have been made, including reducing the number of required completions for a number of open-world tasks to earn rewards.[/p]
  • [p]Collecting Red Ferns is now counted for the Gathering bush plants task.[/p]
  • [p]Added a task for Northern players to clean up the Ghoul Den.[/p]

Bug fixes and other changes

  • [p]Fixed the movement distance of the fiend, dark ghoul, and behemoth.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a bug that caused ghouls to attack a character with fire when attacking an Anomaly Research Installation.[/p]
  • [p]The Mercenary faction's daily quest to kill 15 enemies now counts new tasks.[/p]

Patchnote [07.06.2025]

[p][/p][p]Hey![/p][p]Here are the very developers of Season Pass, still trapped in the basement and dreaming of food.[/p][p]We didn't waste time: we implemented important changes to the mechanics within a couple of days to fix the bugs that came out on release.[/p][p]Our particular thanks to those who gave us clear, constructive feedback — it helped us to quickly focus and make the right decisions.[/p][p]Now, let's move on! What's new:[/p]

Changes in Season Pass points gain

[p]We heard that many people miss weekly tasks, so we decided to remove the rewards for closing categories by adding points for weekly activities.[/p][p]This will help players who can't play every day not be as far behind those who play daily.[/p]
  • [p]For 15 tasks — 3500 points;[/p]

  • [p]Reward is now given for any daily tasks. It will be the same whether you are doing the task for the first time or repeatedly;[/p]
  • [p]Removed the gradual increase in difficulty of tasks after they are completed;[/p]
  • [p]The outline around icons for Season Pass activities has been fixed to improve clarity;[/p]

  • [p]Premium reward has been redesigned. It now gives you extra points for completing the weekly scale, which will help you progress the Season Pass faster;[/p]
  • [p]Exploration bonus has been moved to make it easier and clearer to display. It was also done since not all players liked getting the reward in every quest: too many clicks and interactions with the interface. Now all the rewards accumulate in one place, and by clicking once, you can pick it all up whenever you want;[/p][p][/p]

Task changes

[p]Fixed bugs with counting the completion of some activities:[/p]
  • [p]Events located in the South of the Zone are now counted in the Clearing-out enemy outposts task;[/p]
  • [p]Fights on GOST-17 are now counted in the Completion of battles task of the Sessional Battles category;[/p]
  • [p]Damage to structures is now not counted in the Dealing damage to opponents task of the Subdivision Battles category;[/p]
  • [p]The Anomalous Rift event now counts as a weekly task.[/p]
[p]Changed the content of task categories;[/p][p]Changed the content of the open world events.[/p][p][/p][p]We've also added information about which locations you can find quests at to make it easier and more convenient to navigate.[/p][p][/p][p][img src="https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/41581512/16c445f640d85930476c65ecec8f3eae1ea77d04.png"][/p][p][/p]

Compensations

[p]Players who did not complete the full weekly bonus for closing categories will be compensated. Their progress will be transferred to the new weekly task system.[/p][p]Compensation for each closed category not rewarded will be equal to three weekly tasks completed.[/p][p]The compensation will be displayed in the weekly bonus section, indicating how many tasks are already considered completed.[/p]

Changing the Overdrive mechanics

[p]Overdrive gives a bonus for the first 15 completed tasks in a day, even if they are repetitive. In other words, it can be activated again after every 15 completions, even if it's the same task.[/p][p]Overdrive bonus can be earned any time of the day, not only at the time of completing a task. If Overdrive is already activated, the bonus will still be received automatically;[/p][p]Now for convenience and understanding, the specific number of season points that Overdrive gives is listed, specifically 250 points.[/p]

Other changes and fixes

  • [p]The Chicken God artefact now correctly gives a separate buff for each reaction, rather than upgrading the same one;[/p]
  • [p]Fixed failure to be able to select categories;[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the sights on the QBZ-191 “Burevestnik” and FN F2000 Tactical;[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the selling price of some items obtained from opening the Special Case;[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the volume of loudspeakers in safe zones.[/p]

Conclusion

[p]That's all for now on the current changes. But don't even think that this is where we're going to end up! No. We won't be allowed to leave the basement for a long time: there's a lot of work ahead to finalise current tasks and add new ones, as well as to replace those that frankly didn't work. We'll be rotating the numbers in the dailies in parallel to equalise them in value.[/p][p]It's a separate motivation to keep working with the open world. Like finally getting to the Labyrinth and finally touch it. We are ready to fight.[/p][p]We will also continue to listen to feedback. We have already fixed, for example, poorly readable blackout of repetitive tasks. We also keep such little things in mind and will correct them as we go along. We'll keep it that way.[/p][p]Anyway, we're not relaxing. Because there's something in the basement with us. And we better not piss it off.[/p]

Do you hear their murmur? They’re already close…

Server maintenance is completed — the new season Murmur of the Zone is now on. To celebrate the launch, we’re giving away a promo code:

SCX-SUMMER2025-WELCOME

The promo code is valid until June 11, 08:00 (UTC).

We apologize for the server launch delay — a thank-you for your patience is included in the promo code.

Along with that, some important info was left out of the patchnote. The developers took your feedback into consideration and made it possible for players to buy whole pieces of legendary gear for Act Tickets.

Albatross Heavy-Assault, Gauss Rifle, ZIVCAS M2-C, and Chitin backpack can now be purchased for 6 500 Act Tickets each.

Look up, Seekers.

Patchnote [04.06.2025]

The skies of the Zone are torn apart by the roar of military helicopters. Armed forces are gathering at the Perimeter. The ZIVCAS Corporation is once again searching for mysterious testing grounds left behind by scientists of the past. Behind the North anomaly barrier lies a power capable of pulverizing anyone who dares to uncover its secrets. Something is happening in the Zone. And it will affect everyone — whether they like it or not.

© A mad old man in the Bar that nobody's believed since the “hot July”

We bid farewell not only to the spring season but also to Act One — it was a special one for us, we'll never forget it. Act Tickets were converted into Trade coins. In memory of past seasons, all players who earned caskets have received them by mail — they are now usable as Hideout decor.

Today marks the beginning of a new stage — Act Two. And it brings not just new rewards, but a full change of rules: the Season Pass has undergone a complete overhaul, and with it, much of what players had grown used to.

Are you ready for a hot June? 🔥

Something strange is happening in the Zone

Things are getting tense. Military forces have been unusually active near the Perimeter in the South. We recommend staying alert, so you don’t miss any important information.

Season Pass: Reboot

Season Pass was originally intended as a light, optional background activity, that accompanied the main gameplay, eventually turned into the main focus of the game, overshadowing other content.

We’ve addressed long-standing issues from previous seasons and made substantial changes to the Season Pass mechanics. In general terms, the following has changed:

  • Removed Sealed Points, as they were the root of many problems.
  • Progression is once again tied to daily tasks, now more engaging and customizable. Players can choose tasks categories to fit their play style.
  • Valuable rewards have been greatly increased, making the Season Pass much more worthwhile.

Full breakdown of the changes available in a separate article.

Starting this season, all players who have completed the North storyline will automatically receive 50 Season Pass levels.

Open world changes

To diversify gameplay and space for Season Pass daily quests, we added new events with mutants and NPCs. Now you'll have fiends, snipers, sappers, and behemoths waiting for you in the North.

In addition, the old Anomalous Installations have been reworked, and new ones have been added. Now, when you activate them, instead of the usual spirits, you will be met with more worthy opponents.

Most of the new activity is concentrated in the home territories of the northern factions — now there’s actually something to do there.

Location events that are required to complete tasks will be highlighted when the map is opened.

New gear for Act tickets

Legendary item parts for Tickets

In addition to the Albatross Heavy Assault Armored Exoskeleton and Gauss Rifle, in the new Act you can buy parts of the ZIVCAS M2-C Armour Suit and the Chitin Backpack for Tickets. The required number of parts and the price remain unchanged, you need to collect 8 parts, each of which costs 1000 Tickets.

New gear is available for Act II Tickets:

  • Overton container;

  • Petal butterfly knife;

  • Composite 2.8 sight;

  • Perspective sight.

Murmur of the Zone styles

New styles themed to Murmur faction are available in the shop — a sinister fusion of steel and unknown materials born in the depths of the Zone.

The following items are available in the shop:

  • Roar style for PKP Pecheneg;

  • White noise style for Hector Exoskeleton (transferable version will be released later);

  • Infrasound style for RSh-12;

  • Swish style for Tactical katana (transferable version will be released later).

These styles can be purchased personally or as gifts for friends or the auction trading.

Murmur of the Zone Starter Pack

The Murmur of the Zone season starter pack is now available for purchase in the in-game store.

It includes the following items:

  • 10 season levels;
  • 7 day Premium;
  • Two unique armour and weapon paints.

New Special case

Alongside the Season Pass, we’ve completely overhauled the transferable gear cases. The old gear cases have been merged into one ultimate Special Case!

You’ll be presented with three cards, each hiding a reward. After picking one, you'll see what was behind the other two — then they disappear. You can instantly claim your reward, sell it to other players for profit, or, if it’s not to your liking, reject it and get back part of the currency you spent.

Special case includes various items grouped by their rarity. Each case guarantees a standard rarity item. In addition, there’s a chance to obtain up to four bonus items of higher rarities. Ideally, you could get up to five items in total: one standard and four bonus ones — unique, rare, very rare, extremely rare.

Don’t worry if you don’t get bonus items right away: your chances of receiving one increase with each subsequent case you open, until a bonus item drops. Once that happens, the drop rate for that rarity tier resets to its base value — just like the first time you opened a case.

Special case key rewards:

  • QBU-191 rifle;
  • Albatross Interceptor;
  • Elbrus SRD;
  • SMC Container;
  • SVCh rifle;
  • VSK-94 rifle;
  • Ergonomic 9×39 magazine;
  • Ergonomic 5.45 magazine;
  • Jagdkommando knife;
  • 5.56 NATO Drum Magazine, Black;
  • 7.62 NATO PMAG Magazine, Black.

Transferable Season Pass levels

Transferable Season Pass levels have been added to the in-game shop. You can now purchase them as a gift for another player or sell them via the auction.

There are 3 available bundles:

  • 1 level — 109 SC;
  • 10 levels — 1039 SC;
  • 25 levels — 2299 SC.

Gear repair

Repair Parts have been removed from the game.

All old, sealed Parts will be compensated at a standard rate. Additionally, all players who had them will receive a small but memorable collectible item via in-game mail.

After analysing the gathered data and your feedback over the past month, we’ve decided to reduce repair costs by 20%. We understand that, even with this adjustment, the removal of Parts will still result in higher repair costs. However, this step is necessary to introduce another currency withdrawal method to help stabilize the in-game economy.

We will continue to monitor repair costs closely and appreciate your understanding.

Removing paints from gear

It is now possible to remove paint from gear.

If the paint had a “buyer” tag, it will disappear when removed.

All previously lost paints due to repainting will be compensated in the near future.

Stash mechanics changes

The stash system has been changed: now it only allows storage of barter resources for gear, excluding their large transferable variants.

This change is aimed at increasing the difficulty of extracting highly valuable items, such as artefacts, and giving more weight to surviving during runs to obtain them.

Previously, being able to store valuable items in the stash significantly simplified gameplay, drastically reducing the risk of loss and, as a result, lowering the incentive for active engagement.

Sights

  • All sights have been visually adjusted — they now take up less space on the screen.
  • Reticles have been updated: quality improved and noticeable “pixelation” removed.

    Before

    After

  • Added blur when aiming for those sights, where it was previously absent.
  • All collimator sights that did not have magnification have been given x1.25 magnification.

Music

  • Added guitar melodies for summer season.
  • New songs have been added to Grind FM radio.
  • Added new tracks by the С. У. М. Е. Р. К. И. band — exclusive acoustic lives recorded especially for STALCRAFT: X.

Other changes and fixes

  • Increased the attack distance of all melee weapons by 0.3-0.5 metres.
    Now the distances of weak, strong and fast attacks are the same.
  • Klondike exit points can now only be accessed through the Klondike itself.
  • In the Arms Race mode, the AK-103 is replaced by the AK-203.
  • Flamethrowers and frostthrowers are again available for use in session battles.
  • Updated melee weapon models: EMChes Machete and Crowbar.

  • Updated models, animations, and interaction sounds for the AN-94 Abakan and its variations.

  • Updated the Shady Vector style for TDI KRISS Vector interaction sounds.
  • Updated MK47 Mutant shot sounds.
  • You can no longer take eruption damage near the window on the second floor of the Covenant base.
  • NPCs killed at the Labyrinth location now count as part of the contract: Enemies. People in the north.
  • Anomalous Rifts north daily quests from contract provider are now also scored in Stillwaters.
  • Changed colours of chat messages to improve readability.
  • Updated paint pattern for AKM.
  • Added paint option for most sights, magazines, and side bracket with Picatinny rail and HQ ISSUE Mini Laser Sight.
