Building upon the Login Rewards system that we launched in Game Update 6.2, we are now unveiling Galactic Seasons! While the Login Rewards are an easy method for collecting rewards by simply logging into the game, Galactic Seasons feature new high-value rewards based on playing the game.
Players will be able to monitor their progress along the Reward Track, including how many Galactic Season Points they’ve accumulated, how many Points they need for the next level, when the current Season ends, and more. Our tentative timeline is to have each Galactic Season last about 5 months.
Each Season allows players to advance through 100 Reward Levels, which grant rewards through their progression. To progress, players will receive a set of Daily and Weekly “challenges”, called Priority Objectives. Comprising of existing and/or new Conquest Objectives, Priority Objectives will require the player to complete specific Conquest Objectives to receive Galactic Season Points. Priority Objectives are indicated by their new Conquest icon and are filtered to the top of the Conquest Objective list. Players can also earn Galactic Season Points through the Login Reward system by logging into the game any 4 days of the week.
All Reward Levels will require the same amount of Galactic Season Points to progress. For example, going from Reward Level 1 to 2 takes the same amount of effort as going from Reward Level 99 to 100.
(This is an artist rendition of what the final UI will look like. Season name and rewards shown in the above image are not indicative of what will be offered.)
Players may progress through two Reward Tracks: one which is free and available for all players, regardless of their Subscription status, and a bonus Reward Track for Subscribers. So long as they maintain their Subscription status, Subscribers will be able to earn the rewards from both Reward Tracks as they progress through the Galactic Season. While Free-to-Play and Preferred accounts will initially only have access to the Free Reward Track, if they subscribe, they will unlock all Subscriber rewards they are eligible for. For example, if a Free-to-Play account subscribes after reaching Reward Level 50 in Galactic Seasons, they can immediately get all Subscriber rewards from levels 1 through 50. Conversely, if the player unsubscribes at Reward Level 90 and proceeds to reach Reward Level 100, they would need to resubscribe to receive the Subscriber Reward Track rewards for Levels 91 through 100. In addition to the bonus rewards, Subscribers also earn bonus Galactic Season Points, allowing them to progress at a slightly faster rate than Free-to-Play or Preferred accounts.
Now that we’ve described how the system works, let’s take some time to look at all the rewards players can earn from the first Galactic Season: The Stranger From Kubindi.
Rewards, rewards, and more rewards!
As mentioned above, Galactic Seasons can be broken down into two Reward Tracks, one which is free and available to all players, regardless of their Subscription status, and another one for Subscribers. The following rewards are available for all players, regardless of their Subscription status:

Galactic Seasons Vendor
Let’s go more into detail about Ki’at Thavo, the new Galactic Seasons vendor that all players will be able to access. This vendor will sell various new rewards, previous Subscriber rewards, and some limited-time rewards as well.
Everything available from the vendor can be purchased with the new Galactic Season Tokens earned through the two Seasonal Reward Tracks. The items on this vendor will rotate over time, similar to Kai Zykken but on a longer cadance, ensuring that players always have something interesting to work towards. When the Season officially starts, we will publish an article that will highlight the availability of all rewards. Some items this vendor may have, but are not limited to are:
NEW Republic and Imperial Fleet Apartment Strongholds
Alternate skins for the Season mounts
Kakkran Daggerstar
HK-55’s Jetpack
Makeb Gazebo Decoration
Tauntaun Ram Minipet
And more!
Catching Up
Similar to our Login Reward system, we want to remain respectful of player’s time, so we designed Galactic Seasons with additional means to progress without necessarily completing the Daily and Weekly Priority Objectives.
Catch-Up with Credits - As the Galactic Season progresses, players will have the ability to skip Reward Levels using Credits in an effort to “Catch-Up”. This Catch-Up system is based on an “expected average cadence” determined by the system, allowing players who fall behind to access this progression method. As such, it will not be immediately available at the start of the Season, but rather appear as the Season continues for eligible players. For the duration of the season, each Catch-Up credit skip will exponentially increase the cost of the next one. For example, if the first credit skip cost 150,000 credits, the next one would be 335,000 credits, and so on. This is a valuable option for players with credits to spend who either feel that they are falling behind in their progress or come into a Season well underway.
Jump Ahead with Cartel Coins - As soon as the Galactic Season starts, players will be able to jump ahead in their progression by skipping Reward Levels with Cartel Coins. This is a fixed cost per skip, meaning the cost for a player to skip their first Reward Level is the same cost as them skipping their tenth Reward Level. This is a valuable option for players who want to gain an edge on their progression or anticipate being away from the game for a few days.
Regardless of the method, these level skips can only be done in sequential order. A player at Reward Level 10 can immediately skip to level 50, but will need to purchase all Reward Levels in-between as well (Reward Levels 11-49).
That’s our introduction to the new Galactic Seasons, starting when Game Update 6.3 launches! Players will be able to get hands-on-experience with this new feature in an upcoming PTS update, so keep your eyes open for an upcoming PTS announcement soon. Similarly to the Ranked PvP website articles, when a new Galactic Season officially starts, we will have a kickoff article highlighting specific reward information and more.

Example: If a player joins a guild on Friday, they will not be able to contribute to the Guild points and XP until the next Conquest Event (the following Tuesday at 12:00PM UTC).
Newly-created Guilds will not be able to accrue any Conquest points or Guild XP until the next Conquest Event.
Due to these changes to Guild Conquests Commendation Rewards from Invasion will be tallied at the end of the active Conquest, and rewarded when the next Conquest event starts.
If a player is removed from the Guild, their contributions will be removed from the Guild. If a player decides to leave the Guild on their own, their contributions will still count for the Guild.
The following adjustments are being made to Crafting Objectives.
New Objective called ‘Crafting: Inventor’ will be added
This will be a Weekly and require twice the number of crafts (100) compared to the former Daily “Crafting: Inventor” Objective (which is 50 crafts).
Base Points = 6,400
Upon completion opens up to ‘Crafting: Inventor 2’ Daily Objective
The former ‘Crafting: Inventor’ Objective will change from an Infinite Repeat to a Daily Repeat
Will change names to ‘Crafting: Inventor 2’
Base Points = 1,100 (up from 750)
‘Crew Skills: Harvesting’ will change from an Infinite Repeat to a Daily Repeat
Base points = 1,100 (up from 750)
‘Crafting: War Supplies’ will change from an Infinite Repeat to a Daily Repeat
Base Points = 2,000 (up from 1,100)
‘Crafting: Dark Project Eternal’ will be removed from Conquest as there is already a Daily version
‘Crafting: Aid the War Effort’ will change from an Infinite Repeat to a Daily Repeat
Base Points = 3,350 (up from 750)
In addition, to achieve more equity between professions, going forward, a ‘craft’ for the purposes of conquest objectives will equal one ‘craft’. Previously a ‘craft’ would count each item in a stack of items crafted, shortcutting our intent for the system.
For example - if a Biochem crafter produces a single craft that consists of a stack of 3 stims:
Previous: Conquest objective credits that as 3 crafts
New: Conquest objective credits that as 1 craft
Conquest Objectives will now only display the “Next Objective” if it’s part of the active conquest.
The following Conquest Objectives should now only appear during the Dread War Conquest, the Emergency Operations Conquest, or during the Feast of Prosperity Seasonal Event, as intended:
"Corellia: Lucky", "Hoth: Snowblind"
"Corellia: Lucky Eternal"
"Hoth: Snowblind Eternal"
Fixed an issue where some Skytroopers were not counting towards the count of 'Chapters: Defeat Skytroopers' Conquest Objectives.
Conquest Reward Missions will no longer be stuck in an incomplete state if granted while the player is in a conversation.
Crafting Conquest Objectives now only progress once per craft, even if multiple items are created by the schematic.
The Guild tracking of each character's Conquest Points now includes the Guild Invasion Bonus.
Game Update 6.2.1 brings Amplifier changes!
With the Onslaught Expansion, we introduced Amplifiers to add an extra level of depth for players to customize their characters. If you’re not familiar with this stat system, we invite you to check out our article about this subject here: Introduction to Amplifiers.
With Game Update 6.2.1, we’re bringing several changes to the current Amplifier system that we hope will improve player experience, including a reorganized user interface (UI), a better visual distinction between Amplifiers, Quality Locking, and a Weekly Cost Reset! Let’s see these changes in detail!
Improved User Interface
In order to enhance the readability of the Amplifier interface, we have changed the display into a tree-based view. Now you can collapse or expand each Amplifier in the list to better see which Amplifiers are available and their stat ranges.
When you open your character sheet, the Amplifier list will now appear automatically and show precisely what Amplifiers are equipped. Selecting any Amplifier in that list will open up the Recalibration window, which allows you to recalibrate that Amplifier into something else.
The Recalibration window is where that tree-based view really shines! Now you’ll be able to quickly discern exactly what recalibration options you have for that particular Amplifier. All of this is meant to not only make the entire recalibration experience faster, but also much easier to understand.
Improved visibility
To give players better visibility and readability of Amplifiers, we ameliorate the distinction between Amplifiers and reorganize the qualities into more visuals groups. To do that, we introduce a new color to designate the Standard Quality (White). Under each Amplifiers category, all available Amplifiers will be now divided into five different tiers of qualities. Each tier is represented by a distinct color. White being the lowest tier and Gold, the highest:
Standard (White)
Premium (Green)
Prototype (Blue)
Artifact (Purple)
Legendary (Gold)
With this new classification, you’ll be able to effortlessly determine the value of your Amplifier based on the color, as each color/quality color now represents a smaller portion of the Amplifier and rarities overall power range.
As shown in the following visual, the available Armormech Efficiency Amplifiers will no longer be classified under four groups of qualities, but five.
Greater chances for Amplifiers
Last but not least, we’re introducing Quality Locking! With Quality Locking, you will now be able to exchange credits to increase the chances of obtaining the Amplifiers you want.
On the Amplifier Recalibration window, if your Amplifier is Premium (Green) or higher (Blue, Purple, or Gold) you will have a new button at the bottom left to lock the quality. Clicking this lock will "lock" the quality of your current Amplifier, which then guarantees any future recalibrations will grant Amplifiers of that quality or higher. Taking advantage of this new feature will increase the credit cost of any future recalibrations for that specific Amplifier, depending on the selected quality. For example, there will be a larger credit fee for recalibration if an Amplifier is locked to Artifact quality versus one locked to Prototype.
For example, if you lock the quality at Premium (Green) you can only receive amplifiers of Premium (Green) or higher (Blue, Purple, Gold). If you lock the quality at Legendary (Gold) you will only receive recalibration choices that are Legendary.
Despite the advantage of increased chances of receiving a specific Amplifier, this new feature is costly due to the improvements it grants. Each time you re-roll an Amplifier, the cost is increased, up to 100 re-rolls.
But we didn’t want to make it too expensive for you to get the Amplifier you wanted, so we’ve coupled this change with another feature that will save you credits: the Weekly Cost Reset! With the Weekly Cost Reset, the recalibration cost will be reset to its starting cost each Tuesday!
If you locked your Amplifier at the Premium tier but the recalibrated Amplifiers don't suit you and the new recalibration price is too high, you just need to wait until the following Tuesday for the Weekly Cost Reset to try again.
All of these changes will be available with Game Update 6.2.1 on February 16th!http://www.swtor.com/info/news/news-article/20191022-1

All previous tier rewards (not including token grants)
Veteran PvP players may notice that Ranked Token grants have drastically increased. Due to the number of replica rewards that we’ve recently added, we felt that increasing the seasonal payout was warranted.
New Rewards
While competing during the Ranked Season, players earned tokens that can be traded for rewards. Tokens are not season specific, so if there’s an expensive reward you really have your eye on, you can save up across multiple seasons.
The new rewards added with this Season fall into two categories: the new Airborne Invasion Armor Set and the final batch of Season Replica items. The new Armor Set from Season 13 will be offered at a discounted price of 50,000 Tokens until the end of the next Ranked Season.
(This is a work-in-progress capture of the Airborne Invasion Armor Set.)
With the end of Season 13, we’re introducing the final batch of replica rewards from past Ranked Seasons. These items look and function the same as the originals, but are branded “Replica” to maintain the prestige of the original Season rewards. Here is a full breakdown of the final batch of Replica rewards:
Furious Combatant/Infiltrator/Battler/Mystic Armor Sets (100,000 Tokens per Armor Set)
Furious Weapon Set (50,000 Tokens for the set)
Furious Walker and Flaming Makrin Mounts (Replica Season 3) (150,000 Tokens per Mount)
Assorted Replica Color Crystals (Replica Seasons 3/4/6/8) (20,000 Tokens per box)
Be sure to grab all of the Replica rewards you want before it’s too late! There’s still plenty of time, but all Replica rewards will no longer be available for purchase when Ranked PvP Season 15 starts (the season after the next one). Even though this change is well into the future, we want to ensure everyone has ample time to purchase the Replica rewards they want before they go away forever.
Season 14
Now for the million credit question: when will Season 14 start? Season 14 will begin later this Spring! We will have an article announcing the launch of Season 14, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for that announcement.
That’s it for the Ranked Season 13 recap! We’ve broken down ratings and revealed the upcoming rewards. There’s a few weeks left of the current season, so get in those final games while you can!
