Happy 2023 everyone, Its been awhile since an update has been posted. Development slowed over the winter months, The new level coming out (Level 20) got delayed repeatedly & sadly won't be apart of this update either. although theirs a bright side, a few new features are in the making along with level twenty. A beta branch has been created to showcase the new approaches & features, updates for this branch will be frequent though not perfect. Check it out if your interested, aside from that 1.11.7 Quality of life update addresses a few audio issues, adjustments to the Main Menu & Texture fixes. 2023 has alot in store for StarBallMadNess, stay tuned as always happy gaming.
1.11.6 brings forth some fairly minor tweaks to the main menu, now when you launch StarBallMadNess the background image will scale to your native resolution instead of being potentially out of frame. This solves for an out of place looking background. Aside from that when loading levels via the level selector you might have noticed that the cursor remained visible after selecting the desired level, This wasn't intended and has now been fixed. lastly when hitting escape now shows the pause menu & displays a background image, instead of just showing the pause menu. If this isn't as desirable please feel free to comment it can be changed. Level 20 is nearly complete apologies for the silence lately you can expect the release early November. as always happy gaming! :)

1.11.5 MainMenu!
1.11.5 MainMenu has arrived! The update brings forth some great new quality of life features that were requested. Theirs now a main menu as the title suggests. ːsteammockingː Along with that arrow keys now function as a movement method, for now you can't disable them, but no worries if you were to hit for instance W & up arrow it will still function as if one key was pressed. No "Double speed" or anything will occur. Also theirs a level display that tells you the level your currently playing, as well as a few other features that will be written in the ChangeLog. Level 20 is in development although it is not yet complete, it will likely be released mid this month (September) As always happy gaming and i hope you enjoy the update!
Today's update 1.10.5 LightOverHaul! contains various changes/enhancements ranging from shadow issues & light buffering. To level changes & GUI additions. Lately update frequency has been a focus the plan is to have at least three updates a month as StarBallMadNess ramps up for 1.0 release The twentieth level is currently underway, although it does not have a firm release date at this time. Many levels have now been made easier, for a more enjoyable experience. Harder levels for players that desire a challenge, will be available beyond level twenty. I'd like a moment to thank all the early access supporters, without you StarBallMadNess wouldn't be where it is today. As always happy gaming :)

Level Nineteen improved a few performance leaks that caused fps drops.
Improved lighting/tweaks to level design for Christmas Special.
Lvl Eighteen has been made slightly easier, added a stopper.
Lvl Nine has been made easier, slowed down a couple very fast obstacles.
Lvl Thirteen has been made easier, obstacles have been slowed slightly.
Lvl Fourteen Enhanced/improved.
Fixed across all levels a finish line issue where the player didn't haft to touch the finish
Changes to lvl Ten, when killed by the spinner you aren't locked out of that area anymore
1.10.4 Level Nineteen Is Here!
1.10.4 has arrived!Level nineteen is now released, it may still undergo some adjustments though. Aside from that a few more levels have been adjusted to lower the difficulty further. As the difficulty seems high for most players. To ensure those that want the challenge, the plan so far is to release DLC maps that are indented to be fairly difficult. And another that is more mild once the 20th level is complete. Also theirs planned adjustments to the GUI, As always happy gaming :)

1.9.4 Level Selector!
StarBallMadNess 1.9.4 is finally here. This update has been a long time coming, im happy to announce that a level selector within the GUI has been implemented. No more will you haft to click various keys to switch levels/reload levels. This function has been on the back burner for a long time, at last its finally here. Along with the level selector implementation. Levels have been reorganized for a more linear experience (Easiest - Hardest) Various aspects have also been tweaked and cleaned up. StarBallMadNess 1.9.3 is here!
StarBallMadNess 1.9.3 brings forth small yet significant changes. Many of the levels have now been made easier, as its become increasingly apparent the levels were so difficult enjoyment was impacted heavily. to go with that minor improvements to physics have been made, rolling around will be much smoother now. Aside from that textures have been enhanced/fixed too, levels now will completely reload in places where a rotating object may have gotten knocked out of place/where coins are present. So you can no longer collect a coin fail to complete the level and still hold the coin, this allows the competition aspect to prosper. With that being said if a bug were to occur remember you can always reload the level with your keypad listed in the discussions, their will be a level selector in the menu for seamless reloads/skipping levels its just been delayed heavily the past few updates. A new level is coming soon likely mid to late June, its been decide that future levels will be much easier. The order of the levels will be changing along with that, the plan is to put the easier levels towards the start for a more linear difficulty increase as you progress. As always happy gaming :)

1.9.2 is a relatively minor update various tweaks, adjustments & fixes have been made. Theirs a good chance StarBallMadNess is going to undergo some fairly big changes soon, its become apparent that some of the levels are just to hard. The plan so far is to change the order of the levels, as well as for the next few maps pull back on the difficulty a considerable amount. A changelog will now be on the bottom. Update 1.9.1 Level adjustments and minor bug fixes
Update 1.9.1 brings forth some much needed adjustments to eight of the levels. More are on the way soon, i've been pressed for time so the rest will come shortly. Some of the various adjustments are adding lighting to overly dark areas, improving/adding shadows, as well as improved FPS for a smooth enjoyable experience on any machine. Level Eighteen release! 1.9.0
1.9.0 Brings forth a new map, (Level) Chalked full with frustration and difficulty. This fresh new level has a new feature, you must glide from platform to platform allowing fresh new ideas for levels as well as a slightly different type of difficulty. Although don't worry it only takes a few tries to get the hang of it, With level eighteen released a few performance enhancements have been made as well. Reduced some render distances to keep fps counts high, As well as adjusted some shadow bugs that occasionally caused some objects to not produce a shadow. As always happy gaming!
