This patch we focus on fixing up a few things as well as helping new players learn the game a bit more easier. We are also setting the ground work for the new content update coming soon! More info on this as we get closer.
Campaign:
-Pirate Bosses now have intro portraits
-Difficulty reduced slightly on the first few levels of campaign.
Gameplay:
-Lightspeed Duration has been reduce
-Lightspeed Cooldown has been increased
-Lightning Tower now charges faster and deals more damage at max charge
-Caltraps speed reduction has been slightly reduced.
-Pirate Raider has had a damage reduction
-Pirate Raider now grants more then 1 EXP per kill
-Movement Seal now confuses enemies 1 second longer per upgrade.
Graphics:
-Pirate Carrier now has a new model
-Unlocking a new skin menu has new art
-Fix a few explosions
Misc:
-Play button now defaults to the campaign screen [Community Request]
-Groundwork for new content!
-Few fixes to some bullet collisions.

The Future of Stardrift Nomads
Hello Everyone!
So far the release has been really exciting, to everyone who has played the game and given us feedback so far, thank you so much. We’ve really enjoyed watching some Twitch streams and Let’s Plays featuring the game, big shoutout to MemoryLeakDeath, Space Game Junkie, and OMGchad for their videos.
Watching people play the game for the first time is always an eye-opening experience. In the recent patches we’ve implemented a few features that we thought were needed based on feedback from our players, and we will continue to do so.
So what’s next for Stardrift?
We have big plans for the game now that it has been released, and number one on the list is expanding our content. We have a number of features and content ideas on our development wishlist, which didn’t make it into the release version of the game, and we finally have the chance to work on them. Our plan for Stardrift Nomads is to treat it kind of like a Season Pass, we will continually release updates and patches for the game to make it better and better. The first content update is slated to release in early Summer so keep your eyes open for more info and teasers!
We can’t stress enough how important your feedback is to us, if you have suggestions or critiques we’d love to hear them. Building a great game means listening to what your players want and working hard to give it to them.

Stardrift Nomads Patch 1.0.2
Here is the patch notes for 1.0.2 This patch is now LIVE!
This patch was focus on fixing the steam inventory issues we had as well as adding a few Quality of Life changes.
Campaign:
-Tweak the music theme for bosses ending properly.
Gameplay:
-Controller users will now have a cross hair similar to the mouse to help with aiming. [Community Request]
-Loadout Screen will now properly display the abilities in the loadout.
Graphics:
-Updated the scrap projectile model from the cargo seal ability.
-Loadout Graphics updated
-Updated the skin crate model.
Misc:
-Steam Inventory for Player skins is now fix. Players can now trade skins with each other!
-Options screen now can display the controls layout.
-Fix a bug that made the game unplayable when playing offline from steam.

Stardrift Nomads is now LIVE! Game has been release and here is all the patches we got in for the launch!
Campaign:
-Level 15 is now a bit longer and has more enemies supporting the boss
Gameplay:
-Mini map colors for other players are now different.
-Radiation field random event now displays an effect over the colony.
-Clamp should now work properly in multiplayer
-A new cross hair pointer has been added for mouse using players [Community Request]
-Fix the weapon damage scaling on flak weapons
-Phoenix (Passive) Now has a 6s delay from 3s.
-Pirate Colony Boss now spawn units slightly faster per stage.
Graphics:
-Bomber Ships now have a new look and effect
-New rocket models
-Fix engine art on all enemies
-Achievement Icons are no longer upside down
-Change the model on the artillery bullets
-Updated the texture on the mechanics towers
-New tower icons in the building menu.
-New Loading screen!
Misc:
-Fix boss music for client side players
-Enemy Reference Page on the Main menu now has References!
-New music!
-Disabler's blast bug fix
-Boss theme music
-Clamp can no longer throw enemies along the Z axis making them drop unattainable scrap peices

Beta Patch Notes 0.4.3
Hey everyone!
Here is the patch notes for 0.4.3 This patch is now LIVE!
Been a busy week. New patches have been flying out the door in preparation for launch.
Here is a list of all the things that have changed!
Campaign:
-Bosses now all have voice intro for when they appear.
-Scrap Asteroid will now stop when the game is paused in single player [Community Bug]
Gameplay:
-Patient (Passive) Now activates after 1 second when you stop moving rather then 5 seconds.
-Mothership (Boss) Now has a new weapon and stronger shields. Careful flying in front of it now :)
-Rocketeers now shoot actual rockets!
-Updated the balance of multiplayer. Now players can expect more enemies then before when playing with others. The more players you have, the bigger the change.
-Bigger asteroids will now spawn a bit sooner then before in survival.
-Clamp should now work properly when using it as a client in multiplayer.
Graphics:
-Brighten the highlighted selection box on skills/gear
-Heat seeking missiles have new art
-New slash animation for the Mechanic when using the Slash ability
-Player ships will start to show signs of damage when enough damage is taken.
-New particle effect for the disabler's ship
-Updated some muzzle flashes and particles for towers
-New texture for the rammer and disabler
-Ion Cannon's projectile has had an model update
-Fix the color of scrap on the mini map (Only when using the radar cargo bay)
-Boss explosions are a bit more worthy now.
-Visual effects changed for the scavengers traps.
-Scrap asteroid now has a new look. Also will rotate as it floats through space.
-Updated visual on a few different skills.
-Camera will no longer snap when moving between menu in the main menu [Community Bug]
Misc:
-Scroll Bar on the main menu now works properly with the mouse wheel
-All Achievements have been added to the game
-Fix some bugs when players leave a players lobby.
-More player info on the stats page
-Enemy reference guide is now in! Players must now kill a certain enemy X amount of times before unlocking some information on the enemy. No text has been added yet but should come in the next few updates!

Beta Patch Notes 0.3.8
Hey everyone!
Here is the patch notes for 0.3.8 This patch is now LIVE!
This patch we are finishing up the last art pieces and getting ready for launch!
Campaign:
-Objectives have been rebalance for more of a challenge.
-The Star Map for Campaign level select has been added.
- Updated level descriptions for each level
- Levels have been LOCKED. You now must complete the levels in sequence from 1-15
Gameplay:
-Weapon: Shotgun- Now fires 5 bullets with each upgrade increasing the bullet count by 1.
-Weapon: Machine Gun- Now alternates between barrels as it shoots. Upgrades increase the RoF rather then damage.
-Damage Seal (Active): Reduce the amount of bullets it fired as well as a slight damage decrease.
-Bloodlust (Passive): Duration increased from 3 to 5
-Battle Ready(Passive): Healing increased from 5% to 20%
-Patch (Passive): Healing increased from 1% to 5%
-Patient (Passive): Healing increased from 1% to 10%
-Hard Work (Passive): now correctly increases repair time by 25%
-Mothership Boss has a major health increase
-Pirate Colony Boss now has slightly increased health as well as towers and walls
-Evil Ace (Radiation Skill): Has been greatly reduce to normal levels.
-Lightspeed now grants bullet immunity
Graphics:
-New enemy boss models
-New Skin crate look
-Updated damage particles for each class
-New Evil Ship models
-Redone all weapon upgrade models. Each Tier of weapon should have a unique looking projectile
-Added more Stilts animations
Misc:
-Fix the UI Resolution bug
-Updated tons of old/dated text in the game
-Removed Beta testing Buttons from UI
-Fix the infinite building effect on Ion Towers
-Added more stability to launching multiplayer games

Hey everyone!
Here is the patch notes for 0.3.7 This patch is now LIVE!
This patch we focus on multiplayer issues.
Campaign:
-The Pirate Colony boss will now appear on the radar.
Gameplay:
-Cargo Seal (Active) Deals more damage per scrap piece in the ship's cargo.
-Cargo Seal (Active) Now shoots out scrap pieces rather then an asteroid.
-Sunder will only push the targets half as far.
-Having equipment that reduces the cost to towers equip will no longer instantly repair.
-Mass Repair will now fully heal all allies and towers in the game and grant a shield to players.
-Lightspeed ability now has better collision detection.
Graphics:
-Updated the graphics on the colony ship
Misc:
-Party host will now have to wait for everyone to select ready before starting a game
-The Party UI now only appears when there is actually a party.
-Reach ability will no longer spawn another mechanic ship in the background.
-Only the host now can change the survival settings.
-Players can now start a game when an invited player is still pending.
-Players no longer need to reform the party after every game.
