Scope Creep: I'm adding too much stuffs! Next Patch will be big

I'm explaining why it's been a while since last patch:

I keep scope creeping.

It's the right play.

Skills, Item drops, selling items, buying ships upgrades, meeting new fleet members, new encounters... That's the basics you should expect.

I may add the entire MEMENTO system... Where each NPC acts like a player by rolling actions based on their personality/skills/attributes/emotional stability(temporary)/history with you/race/goals/and career

The Memento system should have aliens act more human than PCs.

I want to make asteroid colors be the color of element they drop, so you can hunt for elements you like based on the color of the asteroid.

If your cargo bay heats up too much, stuff may burn, melt or turn gaseous, which can lead to weird effects in your ship and alter your cargo... Yes, may be getting too ambitious, but it's working and it is what it is.

First 23 missions are fun!

Looks pretty solid!

Either buy some triderium, aka chuck some quarters in the game to get your ship powered up.

Or play it without paying, with your daily recover and power up your base to help you.

This is a very very very fun game, and will only get more fun. It has the techs/design/original ideas/story to dethrone the other MMOS in the long run. So invest now. I allow trading. I don't even mind if you trade offline.

1) This is my party. There are many like it, but this is my party:
Most MMORPGS do not allow static parties of characters you meet along the way because everyone would have them, but Starfighter General has fragmented dimensions so you can have a party of the same characters as everyone else, but they change over time.

2) If you like the story, it only gets better.

3) Soft Pinball Hardcore: If you don't win at first, try, try again. That's the POINT of a video game. This isn't everyone gets a trophy immediately. No hand holding super care bear garbage of other MMORPG. Still, the more time you put in, the more powerful you become. Starfighter General is Hardcore, but totally fair. You'll come to really trip out how addicting that nature is.

Play once a day on your Challenge MMODE! Level up your Clash! Or if you want to support a man who's been ripped off decades of work, and you want to see more story and more Starfighter General, pump and dump quarters in. This is not a quarter eater, but if you let it be one, you'll make the gaming industry a better place.

Try and beat all the starter missions. It may take you days, weeks, or months, but you'll get powerful and skillful to do it.

This patch is insanely awesome...



-Significant performance boost with many many to come. This is lean ware-Opposite of Bloat ware.
On top of DOTS/ECS, will become the most FPS efficient, mass enemies on screen and wild AI scripting you ever saw.
Still, we plan on growing to take up massive massive hard drive space with original sounds, music, voices, images, videos, etc.
By charging you significantly less than competitors, you can buy an extra hardrive and then some.

-Retro thrust now has a lower top velocity(Top velocities exist for now because of radiation and debris mitigation, later you can fly reckless and take damage at higher speeds.)

-Repair Bay should have functionality-Reduces respawn of Challenge MMODE by 5 minutes per level. Gave a bad patch note last one

-Clash Display Base States mode returns and UI prettified

-The Show has more defense

-Targetting window shows distance always now.

-Misc bug fixes.

Upgrades haywire-will be fixed next patch

Junkyard sometimes renders bad- who cares, its just there for some spice up til next missions.

Narrarator voice needs a professional touch.

Final mission script needs some polish.

If you have inventory up when you die, it could stay up during Clash mode.

The fix for most issues is turning it on and off again. Aka exiting out, come back.

We're mass developing so for every 20 steps forward, maybe 1 thing goes back... Then in the long run that gets fixed too. Don't worry, really just relax.


Restarting a mission at base which triggers show and mission to spawn gets cut off the first frame, but you saw it before because it only happens on a mission redo.

->Non Stop Missions in Star System Sol until that story arc panned out and the next enters.
The story line will progress until it's a fully functional AI empowered Space Opera, with aliens who seem like real people interacting with you with
personalities, ambition goals, heat of the moment emotions, profession, attributes, lexicon, catch phrases, and history of interacting with you
and other players with voice communication: Both you and aliens. This Memento system will surprise you that NPC actually ROLE play better than

Instead charging you a small 5$ to 15$ a month subscription, I opted more for a more gentle arcade style->25 cents a respawn if you want to do the MMO for now.

It's not difficult at all to get nearly unkillable in this patch if you get just a few upgrades. So it's not bank breaking and not a quarter eater.

We have a Bill of Rights to not exploit the player's wallet. Though without resources coming in, we can't make upgrades as fast. We're not a AAA.

When AAA get resources, they end up shuting down opponents and making games worse. When indies get resources, we raise the bar and make awesome
creative things the big guys would never risk making. So your virtual goods purchases in this game go into making the gaming sphere better...

If you know me personally, I don't consider many things more important than video games with 150,000 hours gaming, coding, design.

I'm a soul gamer, and when you support me, you're helping the gaming universe not just the Starfighter General universe.

I've also helped push major scientific research but never compensated so helping me get established will help humanity also outside gaming!


Also if you KO, you can still play Clash mode for free! There's ways to earn triderium and faster daily respawns if you excel in Clash Mode.

--Three forms of Ground Combat:
GROUND COMBAT FORM I) One is a classical First Person Shooter (FPS) with vehicles.

GROUND COMBAT FORM II) One is tactical Real Time Turn Based Game(RTTG) from top down, almost isometric. RTTG will give you the feel of a classic orthogonic chess like game with cover, vision and such, yet everyone plays at the same time. RTTG mode happens when you enter populated towns, not because the server can't handle infinite players in a small zone, but because it feels more intense when any action and fight can start from the shadows. Movement is freer and faster when no one has fights going on nearby.

GROUND COMBAT FORM III)One is a 3d Fighter Game you'd see in Arcades from the 90s, but with the ability to change targets.

Starfighter General is the Everything Game. And it's for real. Let me know what you want me to dev next. Virtual Goods buys lets me sub contract parts out to make the game faster. Talk about what you want, and if you got the money, be a driver, push this game's development faster. I'm a 64x coder, people who meet me don't believe people like me exist, so I get things done... I just have literally 0$ funding at the moment. You'll see things in Starfighter General you thought were impossible and things never done before... Be a believer, or heck, just play and enjoy.

Bonus Tip:(Remember for players, the less things running on your computer, the smoother the game play, close off even web browsers if you'd like. No game's ever been made like this so I have to remind my players that every ounce of processing power means better frame sper second. All other games before ran on a single core so windows processes didn't impact other games, this uses ALL cores, you get MEAN amounts of processing, and triming the fat of Windows applications being closed does help. GROUND COMBAT FORM I) One is a classical First Person Shooter (FPS) with vehicles.

GROUND COMBAT FORM II) One is tactical Real Time Turn Based Game(RTTG) from top down, almost isometric. RTTG will give you the feel of a classic orthogonic chess like game with cover, vision and such, yet everyone plays at the same time. RTTG mode happens when you enter populated towns, not because the server can't handle infinite players in a small zone, but because it feels more intense when any action and fight can start from the shadows. Movement is freer and faster when no one has fights going on nearby.

GROUND COMBAT FORM III)One is a 3d Fighter Game you'd see in Arcades from the 90s, but with the ability to change targets.
